ABOUT MY ORDER OUTCOMES-- Every time I go to this Jamba Juice, I order the same exact thing and it's always different. One day I'll get it in a large cup, filled to the rim. The next time, it's in a medium cup, 3/4 full. Today, I got it in a plastic cup filled to the rim. I'm not sure what exactly I'm paying for because they're all the same price, just in different amounts. ABOUT THE CASHIER-- The past couple times I went to JJ, the same girl would take my order (surprisingly she hasn't memorized me - maybe I don't go often enough). Anyways, her name is Kaela, and she does a marvelous job taking the order, entering it, taking my money (lol), so kudos to Kaela -- Thank you! ABOUT TODAYS EXPERIENCE-- Today, I was at JJ again and of course, I was planning on ordering the same thing AGAIN, but the only difference was today was super busy. I stood in line, saw Kaela was taking orders so I thought great, it's gonna be a breeze. It was my turn and she asked me about how I wanted my order. I explained to her and she entered it. Price was the same as always. I stepped out of the way and waited. (1:39pm) I was watching everyone working.. Sure, let's say that. There was 3 people making drinks? Is 3 necessary? Maybe 2 at the most. Blenders cups stacked on the counter 8 cups high. Saw a few orders before me go with their drinks, saw orders after me go with their drinks, saw orders 5 people AFTER me go with their drinks. I waited 10 minutes before I went up and asked if my order was coming up. All I got was, "Yes, sorry about that." (1:55pm) It wasn't until 2:05pm I left with my order. About 6 different customers with 12+ drinks all together left before I even got mine or saw mine in a blender. Not to mention, a customer that came in 3 people after me hasn't received their order either but people after them left with theirs. During this wait, Kaela had left for a brief moment, I'm assuming a break(?), but when she had came back, she saw I was still there. I heard her ask about my order. Constantly asking others to get mine done and done to how I asked WHILE still working the registrar (Again, thank you). Obviously I was irritated and willing to cut in line and request a refund. I got my order and this time, as a said in the beginning, it was in a plastic cup, filled to the rim. The only reason I gave this review 3/5 is because of Kaela and her persistence. If it weren't for her, you guys would've probably received 2/5 or 1/5 stars and lost a customer. From now on, if I don't see Kaela working, I'm just going to get coffee from Peet's next door. read more

I like this place for its quick service and servings. Their sandwiches and other snacks are generally fresh and they offer decent choices. When you read that service here is bad.. Trust it. It is that bad. I know a lot of Yelpers say they are friendly people, but really, I am easy going. For instance, I was eating with my friend one time and the bill came out to be 30 bucks, so I paid with my card and she put down 17 bucks in cash for her share. The waiter took the cash and charged all 30 onto my card. 17 bucks tip for a 30-dollar meal in a Chinese restaurant. We just asked the restaurant owner to correct it, said "it is okay", and left. Now, we were unfortunate enough to be served by a cashier named Fairy. We had a coupon, but she didn't enter it, so she turned her face to the guy behind her (probably manager?), and literally yelled, "THEY DID NOT TELL ME ABOUT IT! SO NOW I HAVE TO REDO THIS!" Us:..um, okay? We didn't say anything and just wanted to let it slide, but seeing her incompetence, we tried to confirm the order with her. Again, she said,"YOU DID NOT TELL ME YOU WANT BOOST!" and rolled her eyes. Yes, honey, we did. We left with a sour taste in our mouth (not causing by the the smoothie) and decided to never come back again. I love Jamba juice, but this one location has been really bugging me The last time I went here, just for a quick medium Carribean passions and a three cheese sandwhich, the food didn't look to good. I had no idea if I was getting my money's worth because they were out of medium cups or something so they gave me a 5/6 filled large. I was confused. There was a small line, 3-4 people at most, but the 2 servers seemed to be rushing at everything. I mean I get that you want the service to be quick, but my cheese sandwhich was so uneven, the cheese was all falling out, sticking to the paper and the bread was sliding off. Also, their was a bit of blueberry stains that were on my bag. The smoothie was delicious as usual, but the sandwhich, like I mentioned, was falling apart and didn't have it's usual appeal. workers seems like they want to kill themselves sometimes. what happened to all the energy jamba juice is suppose to inflict on their workers? visited this place a week ago, we were charged for a power size cup when we didn't even want it. they gave us the wrong boosts and drinks had ice chunks. i want to say they probably had a bad day because i tend to go to this location and usually never have continuous problems. however, i got spoken to once because i was flipping thru their books and one of the workers told me to not touch it because it'll ruin the book. -___-;; are you shitting me? what if i wanted to buy a book about lance armstrong at jamba juice?? you just lost a sale, buddy. read more

Always love this place especially on a nice warm/hot day. Depending on the weather is what I usually get smoothie/shot. If it's just a normal day and I need that extra boost of energy, I usually stop by here before heading to school and grabbing me a double shot macha energy with OJ. If my stomach feels a little empty I usually grab me a pretzel because its easy to eat on the go. Their sandwiches are good too, I just don't like to get e'm often because I'm usually in a hurry. I have yet to try any other competing smoothie places because this already completes my satisfaction, but it's still lacking a star, because I feel that it can do better and there just might be another smoothie spot that taste better that I have yet to try. On a hot day or when I'm just in the mood for a smoothie, I get a a "White Gummy" which is on their secret menu, and employees make it taste like the white gummy bear candy. I like to get others too, but this is my all time favorite. There is a few others on the secret menu, that MOST if not all Jamba Juice's make. You can easily search up Jamba Juice secret menu and you'll find a bunch of e'm, but here is a few of my favorites. Pink Star: Made to taste like everyone's all time starburst flavor (Pink starburst) Blue/Green/Pink/Red Gummy: Made to taste like the color coated gummy bears Chocolate Gummy Bear: Made to taste like the chocolate covered gummy bears you get at the stores Reese's Pieces: Made to taste like the candy bar. Skittles: Made to taste like the skittles candies. NOTE: Remember there is way more on the secret menu, but those are just some of my favorites. There is a list below of some of the others that I haven't tried yet, and remember there are more, just do a quick search. Also keep in mind that not all shops make them, so ask them if they can make it before you order it. Caribbean passion is the best! Me and my husband always go there specially now more that it's very hot!

i usually try to steer away from big name chain operations, but i have to say that my one experience here might have saved my life... i had just flown in from las vegas and was completely running on fumes...i mean, im talking about no sleep for 36 hours straight, and still having to drive to work... as im driving i start falling asleep on the road...this was obviously not good for me or the others on the road so i Yelped the nearest jamba juice and it took me to this location....conveniently located in between the 880 and 680 freeway, i walked in and was greeted by a TEAM of employes...or might i say, smoothie technicians/operators who were all beaming with friendliness... i ended up ordering a 5 fruit smoothie that was delicious...no extra sugar...just fruit and ice...420 calories for a 30 oz smoothie that would fill up even the fattest of fatty's... super nice crew working there...healthy alternative to any kind of fast food...although buyer beware...some of the smoothie bases are heavily loaded with extra sugar...but they have made many changes to the menu to accommodate the growing health trend of the general public.... thanks Jamba Juice...your smoothie woke me up, gave me the nutrients i needed to carry on with my day AND tasted great! read more

This location is always bust, whenever I go in the people working are making drink but tonight the young lady working was chatting it up with a girl just sitting in there on a computer with no jamba juice and she offered them free smoothie and I felt like they were taking their sweet time with making my ordder cause they were busy talking, and I had already order and was waiting and I had been standing there a while and one of the employee who saw I had been there asked if I'd been helped, clearly if Im stand by the door and not anywhere near the cash register I most likely had been helped concindering there was a big group of people waiting for there order and I was the only other person in there. Very bad customer service, never let me walk out with a smile, I pay my acai bowl and berry smoothie. The cashier said that my debit card isn't through, then I paid 50 dollar bill, she said she doesn't has any change for 50. Bad experience and bad attitude, I had no idea if she is a manager there, I should had written down her name, I was in a rush and got mad for the bad customer service. I looooooooove this Jamba Juice... The workers are friendly and perky (but not annoyingly perky... definitely not the "Bring It On" variety perky) but they genuinely seem to enjoy working there. I have gone here at 630am (after going to the gym) and still gotten a friendly greet from the two people that work that early. They are very good at making recommendations (this is better if you're into sweet tastes, that is better if you like it more citrus-y, etc) and they always fill the drinks up to the top! (unlike McCarthy ranch which leaves like an inch of the cup unfilled). Tried to go in there and use a fundraiser card I received for donating. The lady who helped me did not listen to my request and wasted one of my free smoothies on a order I did not finish. To the little pricks that work the night shift: Your one and only job is to scoop frozen fruit into a blender and push a button. You literally picked this place to work, it was your decision, and YOUR DECISION ONLY to say yes to this job and get paid by Jamba Juice to make smoothies!!! I have to say I've never had a bad experience at a Jamba Juice location. The service is usually friendly and the drinks never differentiate between locations. My favorite things to get here are the Orange Dream Machine, White Gummie, and the Chunky Strawberry Topper. Those are all delicious. I love coming to this Jamba juice because they always make my smoothie correct down to all the little specifications that I get tweaked. I usually get the Caribbean Passion with no orange sherbert substitute pineapple sherbert instead. OR the Aloha pineapple with all strawberries and no bananas :) The workers are generally always nice and polite and patient, the speed of service gets an A+ especially on hot days when the whole city decides they want something tasty to cool off their taste buds. read more
