It was not very busy so it took no time at all to run in there and be helped. And it was very clean inside. The smoothie was great, nice and tropically - just as expected. And it is a very generous portion. When you have an account you get points and rewards which is cool - there was an offer when you sign up that you'll get a free smoothie after your first order..but it apparently is only good for a week. There used to be lots of narrow standing counters next to all the windows, poof all gone now. Internet is now erratic, keeps dropping the signal. Also, the music is a bit cheesier/bouncier (i.e. less relaxing and more annoying) and played louder than it used to be...so am guessing they just want folks to buy their drinks and then GTFO. Probably some corporate bean-counter/consultant's overpriced strategy to reduce operating costs and increase profits. Really too bad, as it used to be an awesome place to go spend an afternoon working or socializing, now it feels a bit cramped. Taste-wise, I thought it was great. The acai is on the sweeter side compared to other places I've tried, which is fine for me, but may not be for everyone. The smallest size came in at a total of $13.81, which is a bit more expensive than I would've liked but not bad every once in a while. Some places don't let you build your own so I appreciated that this place gave set options as well as allowing you to customize your own bowl. They seem to have a rewards program as well. Parking can be a hassle too, you can be lucky to find parking around the shop but it's also public street parking for other shops on that block. Love their options, however I wish their smoothies were made with fresh fruits, at least it wasn't powdered! It was actually made with fruit flavored syrups. So the drink tasted artificial. :/ Their mango yogurt was alright. I liked their boba, their boba was slightly sweet and chewy. Also got the matcha milk tea, was okay.
