The service is generally efficient enough that I don't mind occasional lapses but my most recent experience with the store and the company's customer service department was disappointing. My last purchase was for a salmon bagel and there was a piece of plastic wrap from what must have been the packaging in my food (one that I found). I believe I might have ingested more that I did not see as I felt sick that day. Food safety is not one that I would ever toy around with, especially given how many kids eat here. I contacted customer service and had to run around gathering information for them to appropriately respond. For a $10 sandwich and dozen of exchanges I had just about enough that I'm leaving this review.

She uses flavorful, fresh ingredients and has a wide variety of add-ons and toppings that will suit any individual needs. There is also a refrigerator next to the cash register that is regularly stocked with some fresh sandwiches and healthy, cold pressed juices if you're in a hurry and want to grab something quickly. If you do decide to go with a custom made option, you might just be lucky enough that while you're waiting, you get to enjoy the company of "Crush's" adorable, unofficial mascot, Gucci seen below.

They are allergy friendly. I mentioned a nut allergy and the staff member offered to open a new carton of ice cream to accommodate it, which I thought was very nice. They have every thing from ice cream to soft serve to slush to lattes. They even have homemade cookies and ice cream cakes. There creations are what makes them special - lattes, sundaes, tornadoes, nachos, stackables, etc. This is the only place where I've ever seen flavored soft serve like coffee, creamsicle, and pistachio etc. aside from the regular chocolate and vanilla. Watermelon dole whip aside from the pineapple. They also section to order from outside around the cornee (very easy to miss) and a small seating area next to it. Their ice cream is a bit too sweet for me, but I did enjoy the affogato which was soft serve and coffee. Their coffee tasted surprisingly good, so I will be back to try some of their very creative lattes. We also tried a stackable, which to me is a huge pre-made sundae. It is definitely a lot for one person and price is steeper at around $9-$12, but worth it if you want to share as there are a lot of creative options. I will also come back for some of their different flavored soft serve and the watermelon dole whip!

The prices are on the higher side for a local spot and they appear to serve Gifford's and a variety of ice cream products from different suppliers. The variety is worth the visit if you're in the area but I wouldn't go out of my way. It's a busy shop, expect a line especially on weekends. My main complaint was how long it took to order, I came in with a friend and there were 3 groups in front of us but we waited 25 minutes. I understand it was busy but they seemed short staffed having to juggle the walk up window and the line inside the shop.

The Bahama Mama is my favorite and never disappoints. Honestly, the smoothies alone keep me coming back. I also love the new Somerville location--it's fresh, clean, and welcoming. My only feedback is on the food menu. The meals feel a bit more prepackaged than I'd prefer, and I'd love to see more freshly prepared options or variety in that area. Overall, this is a great spot, especially for smoothies, and with a bit more focus on fresh food offerings, it could be even better. Looking forward to seeing how the menu evolves!

I ordered the sunrise sunset. I did not opt to make changes, but they make it really easy in the app to customize your order. When I arrived my smoothie was already made and ready. They kept it in a cooler instead of on the counter which is thoughtful, since a smoothie is best cold and fresh. The employees were friendly. It was not very busy so it took no time at all to run in there and be helped. And it was very clean inside. The smoothie was great, nice and tropically - just as expected. And it is a very generous portion. When you have an account you get points and rewards which is cool - there was an offer when you sign up that you'll get a free smoothie after your first order..but it apparently is only good for a week. So I unfortunately didn't get to use it... but will def keep TSC in mind for next time I want a nice fresh smoothie!

We ordered two breakfast sandwiches on English muffins, one with bacon and one with sausage. You could tell the muffins were homemade and the eggs were freshly cooked. While everything was cooked well, my main issue was that it lacked flavor. The breakfast sandwich with sausage did get more flavor due to the sausage, but the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich felt like eating a warm English muffin only. There also was a very small amount of bacon which didnt help. We also ordered two coffees which were good, but tasted like any other cafe coffee. There are plenty of seating options inside and outside which is nice and the staff is friendly. I did appreciate the freshness of the ingredients so Id likely give a different item on the menu a try next time.

The corned beef is large chunks, not small diced pieces found in most commercial and canned hash. The potatoes, peppers, and onions gave a nice texture and flavor. As I was eyeing the French toast, he gave me a single piece which included their fruit infused whipped cream and was really, really good! That might be my entree next time. My friend got the crepes and her face was doing happy expressions while she was eating. My new best friend Maria kept my coffee mug full-she visited the table frequently to make sure my mug never got low nor cold. She also took care to clean the table promptly as plates were finished. Now if my kids could learn that... oh wait, this is a diner review. The ambiance is cute and chic. There was easy access to accommodate wheel chairs and they have their menu clearly marked for gluten free available and vegan options (most of the menu). The menu is on the fancier side; they will prepare whatever someone wants (e.g. if someone just wants 2 eggs and bacon, they can easily do that). The location is on Main St. so parking is hit or miss. If you are nearby and want something good, this is a good option!
