First time I have been at this location. Ordered the same drink that I have been getting since it was name Zooka juice 14 years ago. Worst smoothie I have ever had from this franchise. Every sip was sour. It was the peach pleasure sub strawberries instead of bananas. So its peaches, strawberries, peach juice, orange sherbet and ice. It seemed like too much ice cz it was a sour watered down version of what i am used to. Will never go to this location again. If i wasn't in a rush I would have went back in and got refund. Worst 5 bucks i have ever spent on a smoothie. McDonald's would have been better. I've been here three times in the past week, and all three times the smoothies are horrible. Each one [2 x's PB & Banana, 1 Mango-a-go-go and one Kale-ribbean Breeze] were runny, there was no thickness to any of the drinks, extremely runny. Not sure if they are skimping on their ingredients or watering things down, but very disgusting and unappealing. When I visited the same location a few months ago, each of the drinks were nice and thick, and very awesome, that's what kept me coming back, but with the changes I've see recently, I'm going to have to lay off visiting or find another location to visit. read more

They have really revamped their menu here. I stopped coming here because I found out they use to use juice made with concentrate. Now they have new options that don't contain soy or milk. I tried the orange reviver juice which was freshly squeezed in front of me. They have lots of fresh juice options. Additionally, they have some smoothies that are made with a fresh juice base. This Jamba is kind of odd. The continued use of foam cups aside, it just tastes different than smoothies from other locations. They made my drink, which I made some customizations, but they made it wrong. They were not sure on the proportions, and instead of asking me, went and assumed. I assumed that they knew how to make it if they didn't ask me. Lo and behold, it was not what I wanted. I only discovered this after walking back to my hotel in the Texan summer heat. In their defense, after I walked back (it was that dissatisfying), they remade it for me and power sized it. However, it still did not taste like what it should. So weird. I ended up not even finishing it. I've had my drink made in different Cali locations, and WA locations. First time I did not want to finish a Jamba smoothie... Jamba Juice is pretty standard for smoothies. I came here during the work day and there wasn't much of a line at all. I was quite surprised as it was quite hot outside. Asking "what time is it?" then saying "why is everyone coming in last minute?" is not welcoming. It's Saturday. A lot of people are out and about at 9:00. This comment was made by one of the people making smoothies to the cashier, and it appeared to be directed to the family of 5 that walked in after me about 10 minutes to close. Last night I called this location to ask a few questions since I've never been to Jamba Juice before. I initiated the call around 8:30 and I explained to the gentleman that answered that I was interested in getting fresh juice. I wanted to make sure that they do that because I lived very far and didn't want to make the drive if they didn't have what I wanted. He assured me that they did and to come on in. I got to the establishment around 9:05 because their yelp information stated that they closed at 10. When I walked in, there was another young lady standing waiting. The employees stated to me that they were closed. I got upset then because I had just spoken to someone and they didn't even tell me that they are about to close, especially after hearing me say I live far. The young lady next to me stated that the same thing happened her and that's why they are fixing her something now. As I waited they gave the young lady her order which was a parfait and a bowl for free. I then started to talk to one girl that worked there, and I explained that I spoke to someone and they never notified me that they were closing and according to their yelp it wasn't to close until 10pm. I asked to speak to the guy that I spoke to and he finally shows his face after hearing me speaking to the lady. I asked him why he didn't tell me that they were about to close and I told him I lived far. He said that he was sorry and asked me what I would like. I told him I would like the Vitality juice and he said ok, he'll make it. Next thing I know, the girl I was speaking to calls him in the back and I guess was fussing at him. Then, another guy comes out and tells me that I will need to come back tomorrow. Now, I was really upset because it was like no one was listening to me that I lived far and secondly, not allowing Jeremiah to rectify the situation like he was going to. I told the guy by the name of Max that I will not be coming back and I'm highly upset. He acted as if he didn't care so then I was forced to ask for their supervisors name. I mean, they could've offered me something like they did for the lady who was in the same situation, but they didn't. Jeremiah didn't even come back to say he's sorry for not even being able to give me the juice like he said he will. I called the district manager by the name of Vanessa and I told her what happened. She was kind of arguing with me that there wasn't any way it could've said that they were open till 10. She stated that she's going to call her employees and get their version (as if I took the time out to make it up). I waited for her callback and when she did, it showed how her lack of great customer service is. She tells me that she spoke to her employees and from what they were saying, they weren't at fault. She said that Jeremiah stated I called at 8pm which was a lie. I told her I can provide a screenshot since her employee deliberately lied to her to save his butt. She then says well providing the evidence given, there's nothing she can do. Now, I just lost it. There's nothing, she as a general manager can do to assist me with the service I received. I then tell her it's quite odd that I watched her employees give away a parfait and bowl to the lady in front of me who was going through the same thing and her (someone who is above them) not able to do anything. I then asked for the corporate office contact info and she stated that there isn't a corporate off because they are like a franchise and she couldn't give me the district managers name. Then I just knew that I have lost hope in experiencing Jamba Juice. It would've been so easy for her just to say, "I'm sorry you went through that and I apologize for you driving far and not being able to get what you wanted. How bout you come back another day and drinks on me!" No. She didn't! It was only after the fact that I told her that she has no customer service etiquette as a general manager and her employees could do something but she couldn't. It was at that point she stated, "Can you send me the screenshot of the call and the hours it shows up being open?" She said she'll discuss it with her district manager and make it a training that her employees can take. Wow! Just wow! I told her how I wasn't happy with her as a general manager and that Jeremiah, although he made a mistake, tried to fix it and she as a general manager can't fix it. She then stated for me not to worry about sending any screenshots and I can come in for a free Juice on her. I refuse to accept that offer after it took me 30 minutes to convince her what the right this was to do. It's a shame that I had to go through this and even a far greater shame that their GM made me feel like I was lying and that my time and effort I took to make it to their location didn't mean anything to them. We waited for 23 mins to get our drinks, and she bought one of them after long while and said 'oh you ordered cucumber orange?' she took another 18 mins for the other drink, and there's no big Q, She's enjoying with other people inside, cracking jokes, she's using her hand to taste my drink, drinking her juice and taking leisure time to make my drink. The product isn't the problem with this establishment. It's not terrible, just okay. The service is the problem. In fact, if the quality of the service were better, the product quality would be better, because care would have gone into the making of it. Terrible, terrible customer service here at the hands of teens with "mean girls" mentalities. I do understand the challenges of hiring an all teen staff, truly I do. I also understand, as a business owner, hiring teens isn't just convenient because they have no choice but to accept minimum wage. It is absolutely a charitable act, considering so many of them are raised with silver (-plated plastic) spoons in their mouths. Hiring a teenager is like adopting a puppy. You crate them when you're not present, so they won't harm themselves by chewing on electrified cables or get into the poisons you keep under the sink. You have to stay with them every second when they are out of the crate to make sure they're not shitting in their food bowls or attacking your neighbors with their energetic puppyness - and such. Basically, you're teaching them how to be good, upstanding and kind. Without this constant care and attention, your puppies WILL run rampant. If you don't want your teens to run your business into the ground, make sure you (business owner) are present until they are well-trained. Additionally, you should understand the puppy pack mentality even when they are well trained, and create their work schedules accordingly, otherwise you run the risk of awful customer service, a good bit of shit in each customer's food dish, and an ever diminishing customer base, lost to the exclusionary high school lunch room atmosphere you've created. read more

I am not trying to be foul in any way. I love Jamba Juice as a company. I am a regular customer, almost daily, and I normally have simple, pleasant experiences. This time was different. I'm not sure what is going on at this location but I waited for 20 minutes for my island pitaya bowl and they left it almost half empty... I eat this bowl almost daily, always at a separate location, and it is never this empty. There were 3 people working on the floor, and one of the workers was staring at me majority of the time instead of working... it was strange. I've been here a half dozen times, usually just to order a smoothie, but I have also occasionally gotten a pretzel or something similarly small to eat. Based on my experiences, this place is essentially the 'Starbucks of juice.' It's good, but not great and a little pricy for what you get. Some of the smoothies I've gotten are better than others, but not going to elaborate because that's just my subjective opinion, and some people would probably not find it helpful or agree with my tastes. The health-conscious should appreciate this place because it offers optional vitamin/mineral/protein/etc. shots to be blended with your drinks. Another pro is the variety: they do offer a lot of options on their menu, and you can even create your own drink if you're not sure what to pick. Overall, decent place to get a smoothie, but not great. In fact, I would almost recommend Sonic as a possible alternative because it's a lot cheaper. read more

Ordered an orange, carrot, and kale juice. It was AWFUL. For one, the orange juice was totally overpowering. But most importantly, it was like drinking sludge. They don't juice all the ingredients. They only juice the oranges and then blend the rest. Maybe if they used better blenders, this wouldn't matter. But what I got was not "juice" it was more like a chunky, mealy, sludgy veggie smoothie with orange juice added. I wish I would have tasted it while I was there. I would have given it back asked for my money back. You should not have to chew juice nor should you have sediment settle in the pockets of your mouth between your teeth and cheeks.
