I ordered the lemon blueberry French toast! 3 thick Texas toast slices, thin icing drizzle, fresh blueberries. Not too sweet either! They serve their syrup warm as well. I also ordered a size of corned beef hash and was given a generous portion. My bf had their biscuits and gravy and I think next time I will order my own. The place was pretty empty at lunch. But I know during the weekend this place is probably slammed! Great quality ingredients and quick service.

The surrounding area is charming and enjoyable to walk around. Our server, Macy, made some excellent recommendations, and everything we tried was delicious. The chicken and waffles were a highlight--the chicken was lightly breaded, beautifully seasoned, and perfectly cooked. The pancakes were incredibly fluffy, and the waffles were delicious too. What really made this place stand out, though, was the exceptional attentiveness from the entire team. It wasn't just Macy; staff members regularly came by to refill our water, add ice, and refresh our cold-brewed tea. The manager herself stopped by several times to make sure our drinks were topped up and that everything was going well. That level of genuine care makes such a difference. It's the kind of service that makes you want to come back again and again and eventually make a place your local favorite. The area itself is lovely, with plenty of little restaurants and shops to explore, and there's also plenty of free parking nearby.

My husband and I went in to use an email promotion for a buy-one-get-one-free crêpe. We ordered a savory crêpe and requested our free Nutella crêpe with added strawberries.According to their menu, adding berries is a $1.75 upcharge. However, they charged us $3.50. When I challenged the price, they claimed it was $3.50 because the crêpe itself was free. When I pointed directly to the $1.75 price on their menu, the manager simply said they needed to update their menus and that 'the system' just charges that amount." There was no apology, no effort to honor the advertised price, and no attempt to make it right. It is a shame because the food is good, but due to the dishonest pricing and dismissive management, I will not be returning or recommending this location. Plus restaurant was freezing and not very comfortable. Since writing this review - the restaurant manager has reached out to me, apologized and offered to make things right. I am therefore amending it to a 4 star because I believe this owner truly cares about feedback and the customer experience. I will visit again in the future and write another review - hoping that next time I can give this place a 5 star rating. Do visit - but pay extra attention to how employees treat you since manager says he has addressed the problem and it will not reoccur.

Once again, this was a wonderful Yelp event. Kendall and Postino's, thank you very much…read more We chose to visit around the time of opening. After noon, you can expect the crowd to significantly increase and it will become busy. We ran into that, towards the end of our visit. With the increase in traffic, it was nice to be tended by more than one waiter. I didn't think about it then, but I would have loved to tip the second person, as well. When going to Postino's, I always try to get something new and they never fail to impress. Drink: The Mockingbird (Mocktail) - bright pineapple, a touch of Italian orange, and toasted almond bitters. This was very good and is something I'd get again. The Board: Brie, Apple & Fig Spread - this is a repeat for me, I absolutely love it. The apples are always fresh, crisp, and juicy. This is so perfect! Prosciutto Di Parma, Fig & Mascarpone - another repeat, I can't go to Postino's without having this on my board. Mushroom & Mascarpone - If you're a lover of mushrooms, you'll enjoy these little bites. I did notice, we did not get the green onions this time around and I was okay with that. They were removed, due to the current outbreak. Great thinking, Postino's! Salami & Pesto - This always closes the board for me, I love this combination. Although, I will add, I think a different type of salami would work best with this combination. West Coaster Panini - (Smoked ham, smashed avocado, arugula, roasted garlic aioli, pickled red onion, Calabrian chili, feta cheese. For my side, I chose the tomato soup, my goodness, was it good. I must say, it is the best tomato soup, I've ever had. It was creamy, packed with flavor, and complimented my panini so well. Also, they add cheese tortellinis to the soup as well. So, good! This was very delicious, the ham stood out and wasn't muted. However, I think I will get another bread next time. I chose the focaccia, it was a bit too much bread for that particular sandwich. I will admit, it doesn't beat their prosciutto and brie panini; that sandwich is divine. Hot Donut Dots - (House made ricotta donut holes with salted butter chocolate, caramel and vanilla glaze dipping sauces.) These are superb and packs a lot in one bite. The cream in the middle is so smooth and full of flavor, but is very heavy. I'm not a cookies and milk person, but this dessert craves a tall glass of milk. They were hot, fresh, and I appreciate the fact that even when fried, they were not swimming in grease. The vanilla dipping sauce was my go-to, of the three sauces. They did well with this dessert, it hit all of the bases. Postino's is a great place to visit with friends, a date, or even as a solo-day/night out. They are one of my top 5 restaurants and I don't see that changing, ever!

As soon as I sat down, the bartender promptly provided me with the menu. Unfortunately, service was inconsistent. Although she had passed me several times, the bartender failed to take my beverage and food order. Eventually, she realized I had nothing to drink nor eat. She asked if I was ready to order in the manner as I had been asked that question already. When I ordered the Italian Beef Dip, I went with the ciabatta over the focaccia as it was recommended by the bartender. The customer near me strongly agreed. Once I dipped the sandwich in the au jus, I understood their recommendations. The bread held well after it was dipped; the focaccia may not have done as well. Because the au jus was very salty, I ended the majority of the sandwich without it. On the way to the restroom, I noticed a large puddle down the hall. The small group of waitresses nearby were too busy chitchatting to notice. After a couple of attempts, I was successful in informing one of them.

There were already people outside enjoying food & company on their patio (that backs up to Southlake Blvd). The patio is decorated cure with lights, a fireplace, & TV playing college football. Moving to Texas a while back, a friend said "never underestimate a restaurant in a strip mall"…read more Craftway Kitchen in Southlake isn't exactly in a strip mall, but in the outlot of a few big box retailers. We've driven past Craftway Kitchen more than a few times, always intrigued with a 'we have to try that place sometime'. Saturday night was sometime. Taking our chances as a party of three walk in's, the restaurant was full inside, and there were a few tables open on the patio. I generally don't like to eat on patios, because flies show up, etc. Not at Craftway... not sure what they were doing, but there wasn't a fly or other flying bug around. The patio wasn't just clean, it was meticulous. Welcoming too - It felt very much like an extension of the restaurant. Alex, our waiter was quick to bring water and menus. Returning to take drink orders, a margarita was ordered as was a glass of Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc. Drinks were quickly served. Water was never allowed to become empty. Alex asked if we had ever been to Craftway, we informed him this was our first visit. His ask "any allergies?" to which we said no. He disappeared, returning with an appetizer sampling plate with three items - the Reuben egg rolls, crab stuffed mushrooms, and blue cheese chips. All were fantastic! Three entrees ordered, the Chicken & Fig sandwich, Chicken Milanese and the Cajun pasta with Chicken. Food arrived; each entree was fantastic. Cooked to perfection, flavors were amazing. Dessert, shared, was a bread pudding with ice cream, a perfect finish. Alex never let beverages become empty, delivered superb service. The Chef circulated the room checking on satisfaction and chatting with patrons. Giving Craftway Kitchen a very well deserved 5-star rating. The staff did everything right! Departing, we talked about what we will order next time. We will be back to Craftway Kitchen!
