I came here a few times and they don't disappoint. This last time I picked up a soup for my friend who was not feeling good. The hostess was very friendly and accommodating, the soup was delicious and the decoration of the place was nice, still displaying a warm Christmas feeling. Will definitely come back as this is in my backyard.

Not too shabby of a restaurant. Great and attentive service. The environment is very typical of Mexican restaurants in the South Texas area. Tables and booths are available. There is art on the war showing ranchers scenes and scenes of agave cultivation. They have a bar that serves a variety of drinks. Other folks at are table drank wine. I ordered a Bloody Mary. My drink was fine, but lacked character... I mean to say it wasn't anything special. I ordered pork chop a lamezicana. You got to medium sized pork chops covered in grilled onionss, jalapenos, and tomatoes. The plate also came with Mexican rice and refried beans on the side. I chose flour tortillas, since I don't get a lot of those in El Paso. Our orders came out pretty fast, even when our server overlooked or misheard our order for my daughter's brunch plate. It was a great place to come together after our friend's first communion. Great place to gather eat and fill up on good food. Not too shabby. I would love to try their parilladas.

Alcohol was NOT included in the making of this margarita. I'm on blood thinners. I ordered TWO. NOT even a little tipsy.

This is the WORST dining experience we have had in a long time. I knew it was questionable when we entered and there were only 5 tables in use, including our own, on a SATURDAY NIGHT! I am on blood thinners. I am allowed ONE alcoholic beverage WITH a meal. I LOOK FORWARD to this. I do NOT drink alcohol otherwise. Not at home. NOT EVER. ONLY when we go out to eat. I really look forward to a cocktail when we dine out. This restaurant included no or VERY LITTLE alcohol in their "margarita" and I KNOW THIS because I have NO TOLERANCE for alcohol. As well, I am on blood thinners, and alcohol hits me very quickly. I walked out of there without so much as a little buzz. NOTHING. I could have been drinking water. I can get drunk on 4 oz. of wine. NO tolerance. NONE. I ordered TWO margaritas on this night and from this restaurant, just to check my theory. NO buzz. NOT even a little. This is a restaurant's method of saving themselves money. Cut the alcohol and fill it with lime juice. Who gets burned? The patrons who are PAYING for these drinks. NOT OK. They can deny cutting out the alcohol with ANY OTHER CUSTOMER. Not with someone who is on blood thinners, though. I KNOW how alcohol affects me. I KNOW my tolerance. I ordered TWO cocktails, I didn't eat my meal, and I stood up and walked out as though I had been drinking WATER. They couldn't ADD A LIME just to "pretend"? Good grief! Back to the part about my not eating my meal. I was drinking on an empty stomach. The reason I didn't eat my meal is because our daughter ordered a shrimp cocktail. It came with only 6 TINY shrimp. SIX. She fished them out and counted them. She was still hungry. I ordered a burger and fries as it seemed safest. I gave her my meal. My husband ordered Menudo and the Chimichanga. As I hadn't eaten my own meal, I asked for a bite of his Chimichanga. It's a Mexican restaurant. The Chimichanga is ALWAYS good, everywhere we have been. I asked for a bite. I IMMEDIATELY KNEW it was a mistake. I reached for a new napkin, spit the mess out, and my husband said, "We need to leave. This is awful." He did not finish his meal. It tasted like what wet cat food smells like. I'm not exaggerating. I do not recommend this establishment. I am EXTREMELY perturbed that they would skimp out on the alcohol in their cocktails. They can deny it, but again, NOT with someone on blood thinners, who has NO tolerance for alcohol anyway, and who DOES NOT DRINK except for the once a month [if that] dining out experience. How DARE you charge what you do for a cocktail and not include the alcohol? People need to know this. Now, they will. The food is terrible. We are NOT returning. I included an image of the "mocktail". NO alcohol was included in the making of that cocktail. Trust me. I ordered TWO for the sake of my OWN EXPERIMENT, and so I could write this HONEST review. I didn't eat my meal and hadn't had anything to eat since 10:30 in the morning. We were there at 6:30 pm. I am a woman of 118 lbs, 5'4", on blood thinners, no tolerance for alcohol anyway as I don't drink otherwise, and I had ordered and consumed 2 of your "margaritas" just to prove my point. I walked out of there as though I had been drinking WATER. The issues listed above are likely why Chile's restaurant parking lot (which is adjacent to your own) was full, they had a long wait time for a table, and your own restaurant had only 5 tables in use, including our own.

Chicken and Beef fajitas for two

I honestly don't know what these people who have left previous reviews are talking about. Everything was good--food, atmosphere, service, wait time. Combo fajitas for two were $48. Good amount with leftovers to take home. Really comfy booths, honestly no complaints. Will definitely be back!!!

We ate lunch today at Jaliscos. Queso, nachos, ceviche, and kids meals. Everything had a good flavor. The quality and portion sizes are very small, for the price. The skinny margarita was very good. Our server was very nice and attentive.

Great chips and salsa. Queso compuesto is much better than the plain queso. Al pastor tacos are delicious. Good rice and beans! We enjoy coming for lunch. Much less of a crowd, always quick and friendly service. Kids menu is good too & our servers always bring the kids food out the second it's done!

Pretty good Tex Mex. Service was friendly. The food was tasty and had good textures. Good portions sizes. Will stop by again when I'm the area. Lots of seating.

Poor service ordered a omelette it was full of grease look like they fried fake eggs and threw some lunch meat and opinions on it and wrapped it up my husband pancake was like rubber and food was nasty the waiter brought me two tacos full of fat honestly the place needs to be shut down

Couldn't get a lot of pics bc my companions don't understand this YELP life :/

I know this is a chain and I've only been here one other time. It was the location on Congress and William Cannon. I wasn't impressed. It seemed overpriced for what you get. We live in Texas, so there's too much good Tex-Mex to overpay and just get 'ok'. So when my friends wanted to meet up at the one in Buda I wasn't overly enthused. Especially since I couldn't even drink since I'm still engaging in dry January. The best thing about this place is the interior. It's very nice and comfy. Nice dinner atmosphere with the dimmed lights and TVs not too loud. My dinner partners seemed to enjoy their drinks. And I have to admit, they were huge. I think the prices ranged from $9-$14. Not too bad. The food prices weren't out of line either. I got ceviche. It was around $14 for a pretty big bowl so I couldn't complain. I think the prices are more in line now with inflation so NOW I think you'll be paying in line with other middle of the road restaurants like Casa Garcia's. The ceviche was good. It has a really nice twang from the citrus that wasn't too overpowering. Even though it had mandarin slices, which I was not wild about, it didn't give too much added citrus power. There also wasn't too much cilantro. I'm a cilantro lover but sometimes I find that restaurants over-do in this dish in particular. But not here. It was a very well balanced dish. Light but with such a big portion I definitely wasn't hungry after finishing. It was served with tortillas fried hard. It was a very nice combo. Was it the best I've ever had? Not even close. But would I come back and reorder if my friends want to meet here again? For sure! The waitstaff here was very friendly as well. We didn't wait at all to be seated. They were prompt with getting drinks and refilling my water (which I was gulping to stave off the lure of the mango chamoy margarita my friend got). I thought the waitress was incredible. Even after we'd paid the bill and were just hanging around for over an hour afterwards. My friends said she kept looking at us like she wanted us to leave, but I didn't notice that. Honestly, I don't think people should stay that long after paying a check at dinner time (they weren't that busy but still) because the staff might feel obligated to still check on you without getting anything. I have to say, I was glad when we finally got up and left and I wouldn't blame the poor waitress if she was too! lol

The dressing was on the side but for some reason the lettuce was still creamy. Not sure what happened there but it made the lettuce less crisp, which is why I like dressing on the side. The chicken chunks were fine as well. The mac and cheese my kiddo got was white instead of yellow cheese. Be warned if your kid is picky on mac and cheese color. The mac was on the bland end with not a great cheesy flavor to it. My kiddo did not eat half of it. She did like the broccoli after some salt was added. You can pick from any of their sides. The kids meal comes with a popsicle as well. The area the kids were playing at was marked as a dog area and is right at the edge of a slop to a steep roll to a culvert. There are low bushes marking that edge but watch your kids when they go out there. I might swing by again for a happy hour.

Seesaws are metal and fun, but there is no fence to keep those kiddos corralled in which I know some people look for. Parking was limited, and there were kids playing games and football in the parking lot which made me a little nervous, and they were playing with footballs that I could see hitting a car. The food trucks that night were limited, but the Mediterranean food truck was good! Nice falafel, a solid chicken shawarma salad, and hand dipped onion rings and mozzarella sticks that the kiddos definitely enjoyed. It looks like they have a burger truck too, but it was not open that night. The game volume on high, nice patrons, solid layout for the space they have, nicely maintained, friendly staff that make you feel like you've come there for years, all adds up to another great experience on Manchaca Rd!

Meridian is in downtown Buda and is connected to Zoi Wellness. We were able to park in the parking lot across the street. Upon walking in, the space had a rustic loft feel with lots of greenery. The furniture made it feel very cozy. I honestly didn't expect to find a coffee shop like this in Buda. The barista was very nice and gave recommendations. My mom and I both ordered Iced Pecan Pie Lattes which was a seasonal drink that they were featuring. We ordered our drinks to go, but then decided to sit in the cafe and enjoy our beverages. The coffee is legit! We both liked our beverages. I really enjoyed the pecan flavor and the sweetness level was perfect. The barista informed us that they make all of their syrups in house. I noticed that there were plenty of outlets for work or study. There's quite a bit of seating including couches. They have QR codes at each table that you can order from which is so convenient. In addition to coffee (which is served until 5 pm), they also have wellness drinks, wine, beer and cocktails. They have a nice sized stage for live music.
