Legit breakfast tacos. Very reasonable prices. Homemade tortillas. Soo good. Got 1 chorizo/egg and 1 sausage/egg. Salsa on the side. 8am on a Sat in Nov, place was hopping as well as the drive through... lots of locals so you know this is a neighborhood gem. Less than 5min from Barton Middle School. Plenty of tables inside, very fast breakfast service. Had my order in less than 5min We will be back! You should visit!

Tacos de lengua. They added some juice from Menudo lol

This place was recommended to my hubby at first. They have a list of tacos to choose from and plates/platters. We have been here a couple of times now. Once around lunch time and the other for breakfast but they do serve breakfast all day. I had the Barbacoa taco & bacon & egg breakfast taco and the other visit I had the Chicken flautas platter. (The platter is just the flautas & the plate comes with rice/beans). Hubby ordered chorizo con huevos (eggs) taco and some menudo. My sis had tacos de lengua (beef tongue). The tortillas are made fresh in house. Everything is made fresh and is delicious from first bite to the last. They do have parking and they can get busy but they seem to handle it well. Service is great and done with a smile. Bathrooms (2 single bathrooms) are kept clean. When you are done with your food you can go up to register to pay for your meal. They also accept TAP for payment.

Tacos with lettuce, tomato, and cheese with ground beef

I was looking through Yelp, trying to find a new (to me) place that sold crunchy tacos. So many places sell tacos, and many sell soft tortilla tacos. I wanted hard, crunchy tacos. Not soft tacos. Spicy Bite is 1.4 miles away from my house, so I decided to give them a try. It's a quaint little restaurant with window service and indoor seating. I ordered 4 crunchy tacos (pictured). They were delicious. Ground beef, which I really want in a taco. Lettuce and tomato, with shredded cheese. They were so good that I went back the next day and ordered six. I asked if they had sour cream and cilantro. They did, so I asked them to add that. Delicious as they were, I was a little surprised that I paid extra for sour cream and cilantro. I thought that normally came with a taco. But, oh well. At least I know now that if I want anything more besides lettuce, tomato, and cheese, it's going to cost more. I still recommend Spicy Bite. Delicious tacos.

Large Chicken Tortilla Soup $9.79 is really good! Loaded with shredded chicken, rice, some guac and cheese

I was recommended Spicy Bite by someone who works at Summer Moon Coffee in Buda. I was searching for food in the area, using Yelp, couldn't find anything good than the usual stuff. I asked her for her recommendations and she gets all excited telling me about Spicy Bite and their awesome Chicken Tortilla Soup. I love CTS - - and she made it sound so good, I found them on google maps, they were only 14 min away. It's kind of a hole in the wall right on the corner, but it's a busy hole in the wall, and it's relatively clean inside, so it's a clean hole in the wall, so no worries about my saying it's a hole in the wall - okay? Kat is my server, I've seen her now at least a few times, I've gone back for that awesome Chicken Tortilla Soup, and believe me it is awesome. It's under 9 bucks for a large bowl, has shredded chicken in it, good veggies, a small scoop of guac. I get onions and cilantro on the side for 50 cents, and get this - a side of their guac is 50 cents too! I love this soup! See my video and pics! I get it all the time here. Sometimes there's less chicken in it but go at lunch it's always good I also love their chips and salsa here - they have 2 salsas, a warm green one along w/ a red one - and I mix them - so good! They have a special every day, a buck off. The Sour Cream Enchiladas were pretty good - not the best but pretty good. I was really surprised with their Chicken Flautas. I am not a flautas fan, and I'm used to too much crispy tortilla and not enough chicken or filling. But here they came out hot and loaded with shredded chicken. I was so surprised! Kat is cool AF. This place is cool AF. I know this guy, named Del, he's the King of Kyle. I told him I went to Spicy Bites and he got so excited and worked up. He loves this place, and regularly orders from them when he has his large neighborhood pool parties at his huge palace in Kyle with his BFF Oscar The Pimpmeister. Big D has the biggest pool in Kyle. And Oscar has the smallest bathing suit. Spicy Bite gets a lot of regulars and repeats, and even though I'm 78701, I'm one of them.

This is how GOOD the food is, Yes!

We had breakfast here and was happy to see that it is a mom & pop place. Efrain stopped by our table to check on us and we found that he runs the restaurant. He is proud of the food and we thanked him for his delicious breakfast. My husband had the migas and I had another plate. Flash! I saw on the menu that they serve San Antonio style PUFFY TACOS, so we will return to try them. Those are the best if prepared properly! The waitstaff was pleasant. Servers who weren't even ours topped off our coffee.

Our first time here, after living a life eating Mexican food. Mexican food MUST be served HOT, and it was here! Perfect. We ate breakfast, one of us had Migas & the other Chillaquas. The chillaquas came out the way it should, with FRESH CRISPY chips mixed in. The coffee was superb & hot! We will be back for dinner to try the PUFFY TACOS & RED tortilla enchiladas/ the San Antonio way!

Literally so good! I've lived around the corner from this restaurant for over a year and finally decided to come. This is my new favorite place for breakfast. 10/10.

Server asked if we knew what we wanted but since it was our first time we asked for the menu & ordered 3 drinks: Mexican bottled coke, jarritos (pineapple) and Sangria (soda non alcoholic) We ordered 18 mini tacos and 2 cheese quesadillas. Total was: $57 (cash ONLY) - Al pastor: 5/5 for taste, flavor, presentation and amount of meat to taco ratio. Only thing sadly missing was fresh pineapple for topping. - Suadero (fajita): 2/5 it was nicely packed but sadly missed the mark on flavor and it was very dry. - Cabeza: 2/5 the cut of meat was good but missing flavor. - Chorizo: 3/5 the flavor was good but not great. - Cheese quesadillas: 4/5 the cheese was quality cheese but didn't actually melt at all. Once the food came out (10min) we were given 2 types of salsas: green guacamole and red with chile de arbol. I was only able to add a few drops of the red salsa so beware. Overall we really enjoyed the food, service and mainly the al pastor tacos. We'd come here again if we're ever in Kyle.

I'm not exaggerating at all when I say they hit every single craving perfectly. From the very first bite, I knew these tacos were on a completely different level compared to anything I've tried before. The flavor, the freshness, the way everything came together--it was honestly incredible. I've had tacos from a lot of different places, but nothing has come close to tasting this good. I genuinely don't know what they put in these tacos to make them taste so amazing, but whatever they're doing, they've absolutely perfected it. The first time I tried them felt almost surreal. It reminded me of that iconic scene in the movie *Ratatouille* where the food critic takes a bite and instantly gets transported back to his childhood, remembering his mom's homemade cooking. That's honestly the closest way I can describe the feeling--it was like pure comfort and nostalgia all in one bite. On top of the incredible food, the **prices are amazing**. It's honestly surprising that food this good can still be so affordable. You're getting top-tier flavor and quality without paying crazy prices, which makes the experience even better. It's rare to find a place where the food is this delicious and the prices are still so reasonable. Overall, Briana's Taqueria completely exceeded my expectations. Between the flavor, the quality, and the value, it's easily one of the best food experiences I've had in a long time. If you're even thinking about trying it, I would **highly recommend it**--you definitely won't regret it.

We were immediately greeted with chips and salsa, and also ordered a queso for dipping. Queso was perfect - liquid cheese that awaits a chip. Not too runny, not too thick. Our waitress was AWESOME!! I was between options and she recommended trying the green chicken enchiladas but swap for shrimp - I think they were some of the best green enchiladas that I've had! Flavors paired perfectly. She also kept our chips and drinks full the whole time. Boyfriend also ordered chicken enchiladas topped with queso which were also good - the chicken was very flavorful inside of the tortillas.

We were already seated at our table with my mother and children when the situation occurred. My special needs child had a caramel frappé from McDonald's, which is her preferred drink and one of the only things she consumes, as she does not eat by mouth. Our server had already greeted us and taken our drink orders without raising any concerns. Shortly after, another employee approached us and stated that outside drinks were not allowed. I calmly explained my child's medical needs and that the rest of us were planning to order food. Despite this, the employee brought over a manager, who repeated the policy without any willingness to listen or show understanding. We were then told we could not stay and were effectively asked to leave. While I understand that businesses have policies, the complete lack of compassion, flexibility, and basic customer care in this situation was unacceptable. This was not a case of bringing in outside food for convenience--this was about accommodating a child with special needs while the rest of the family intended to dine and pay as customers. Being asked to leave under these circumstances was both embarrassing and upsetting. Based on this experience, I will not be returning. I hope management seriously reflects on how situations like this are handled in the future, because no family should be treated this way. I'm pretty sure they won't reflect on this situation seeing as how the manager was all too happy about kicking us out, he literally showed absolutely no compassion or care at all.
