I have ordered delivery from here a few times and always got my favorite, General Tsos. I like it pretty spicy and after getting no kick from it the first few times I asked for it extra spicy expecting to maybe have over-done it. I got it and it was even less spicy then ever before. Delivery was fast. We DID get an email confirmation. Online ordering is convenient. The food was all good. We shared 6 dishes and I sampled each one. Not a single complaint from me or my party. Buffet was mostly fresh, save for the sushi (I'm not sure how many people really go to a buffet for the sushi, however) which was dry and very chewy. Crab Rangoon was very good, as was the fried rice and dessert selection. I'll probably be back. read more

Only been here for buffet and it's what you would expect for a buffet. Food is mediocre. The meat dishes I find to be a little over cooked. The selection is kind of small. I've ordered delivery a couple of times now. The food is ok, no problems there. But, this last time we ordered, it took over an hour to get it. We're less than a mile away. If you are going to offer delivery, at least hire competent and adequate delivery staff. Going to try another restaurant next time we want Chinese. read more

They wont fill the buffet sat there for an hour an a half waiting for certian things to be filled. And most of the time the food is cold. Dont they get that it is a state law that food has to be kept at the right temp. Took a bite of the gen chicken and it was still partially frozen inside I nearly puked. Every single china buffet I have been to serves coconut shrimp or at least around supper time. They told me they never do. I am assuming that is because it is a popular dish and they have to fill it all the time. Which is something they obviously don't like to do very often. I really enjoyed my meal tonight. I ordered General Tso's chicken and fried dumplings for delivery. First of all, my order came in about a half an hour which was way quicker than I was expecting. I don't generally order General Tso's chicken because I prefer more veggies and it seems like there's usually not much sauce. There were only a few pieces of broccoli in the dish, which is typical--however, lots of sauce and the sauce was very tasty. I'm not sure if it was a mistake, but they also included a small order of crab rangoon that I did not order. So, I ended up eating the rangoon and will have the dumplings as leftovers tomorrow. Rangoon was good and the dumplings look like they were cooked well also. I don't eat Chinese food very often so I'm not a connoisseur, but I was happy with the food. One thing--I'm staying at a hotel, so utensils would have been appreciated. read more

I ordered food on their website, for them to deliver to me. They delivered fairly fast. The guy who delivered was polite. I ordered Crab Rangoon, Egg rolls, sweet and sour combo (pork, shrimp, chicken), Roast Pork fried Rice,Pork Lo Mein, and Peanut butter Chicken. All that food totaled about $40. There was a lot of it. They gave a big container of sweet/sour sauce for the meat, as well as some steamed white rice, fortune cookies, soy sauce, mustard, and duck sauce. I have had all of this food (except for the lo mein) at other chinese restaurants. It was very good. I would recommend it, and I'll definitely be ordering again. read more

For the most part, very good. It is a buffet so if you go during "off" times you may see they are out or low on something but I haven't had any real issues with it. I like their Sushi, it's quite plain and simple. Their broccoli and chicken is very good and so are their egg foo young. read more

I know that you can't expect much from a Chinese buffet, buy we were in the mood for a good variety and not too picky about it. We were smart enough to avoid the raw sushi, but not smart enough to leave when we saw how empty it was. We'd been to Jade Garden before and it hit the spot, and they have some tasty dishes. The peanut chicken, garlic green beans, barbecue pork ribs, and egg rolls are good. But some of them didn't seem quite warm enough, and sure enough, we both got food poisoning within an hour. Never again. Half the food on the hot line was cold. When we went up to pay, we mentioned it to the hostess and she brought out the owner and/or manager and we again mentioned that some of the food was cold. Instead of thanking us for bringing it to their attention and maybe saying that they would look into it, he got Very defensive and said their food is never cold. I have been a customer of this restaurant for years. Today, I tried to put in an online order. When I was out doing errands, I realized that I could just pick the order up; however, when I called to let the restaurant know this, they wanted to cancel the charge and re-charge my credit card. I said no, just give me the delivery charge. She said they couldn't do that. This seemed sketchy to me. So, I got off the phone, and I called back and asked for a manager. The girl on the phone didn't put me on hold. She held the phone said she was "scared of her" and then proceeded to call me a name that I wouldn't call my worst enemy. They then got on the phone and told me I could pick it up and they would have me pay for it then. When I said no, I've already been charged, the man said, "That's how it works." So, they just lost a customer that they have had for YEARS because of this. Two words of advice if you own a business: 1) have a hold button 2) be a little flexible with your customers. My situation is plain and simple. They would not refill the buffet even though I had requested many times. This happened more than 3 occasions. My family, friends and I will not be returning. On 22-Feb-2015, I ordered from Jade Garden in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, through their online ordering system. I placed the order at 4:50 p.m., and I specified that I wanted the order DELIVERED at 6 p.m. However, the restaurant says that when the message arrived at their location, they assumed it meant the order should be STARTED at 6 p.m. My order didn't arrive until 30 minutes later, at which time it was too late to eat, because I had an appointment I needed to get to. Their food is always good, but if I order over an hour ahead of time, they should be able to get my order to me close to the time specified. Typical Chinese buffet, probably the best that's around in Eau Claire (that I know of, at least). Nothing too impressive about this place.

Their food sucked.. REALLY no rice, what chinese place has no rice. Waited 20 minutes for fresh even more food and nothing came out. I cannot believe the staff was complaining on it being slow and I wonder why!! read more

We stop there for take home all the time. This time when I got home there was no pork in the Wonton soup like normal and there was 3 small pieces of pork in the Roast Pork Lo Mein. My wife had the Happy Family and also there was only a few small pieces of pork. I called and spoke to girl who knew nothing about the dishes. She said she would speak to the chef. She came back and told me he said they do not put pieces of pork in the broth which is not the cases because we get it all the time. Also, she said he said they measure out a cup of pork and put it in the Lo Mein dish. I said that wasn't the case and she seem not to care at all. The big issue is the attitude I got and they didn't seem to care that the meal wasn't correct, the girl or the chef. Will never go there or get take out again. read more

My family and I really enjoy Jade Garden for delivery. Not the best Chinese food, but the best Chinese delivery in the area. My only complaint is it usually takes around 45-60 minutes to arrive. read more

Walked out of this restaurant twice in 2 weeks because no one waited on me. I waited as the girl behind the desk waited on person after person paying their bill but didn't have enough sense to seat me. So I walked out. I normally like this place but if they aren't smart enough to wait on customers when they walk in the door then I'll find another place to eat. read more

I was called a lying horrible customer because I wanted to return my order that was wrong for the second time! I loved Jade garden when we first started eating there a little over a year ago. Then after a couple of months of getting take out a couple of times a month the food started to go down. I received uncooked chicken once but didn't complain since it was a first time thing. Then I had another experience with my food take 40 mins when it was supposed to take 20, the staff informed me after it came out that they had to remake it and thats why it took so long instead of informing me while i was waiting. Then I always get Chicken lo mein with no onions and a couple times in a row there was onions in it. So i finally called and just submitted my complaint with the manager. He said he put a credit on my account for it and I'm welcome to come in and get the right order anytime. When I tried a couple weeks later there was no credit. Then after some convincing because they got a new computer system and a bunch of stuff was lost that they may have lost my credit they said they would give it to me. Then I when I picked it up I got home and saw it was fried rice instead of lo mein. I called immediately and the Hostess told me thats what I originally said and she wasn't going to do anything about it. Later I called to talk to the supervisor who would not release his title or name to me at first eventually he said he was the owner Jake and he stated there is no credit on my account and they gave me that free food and I'm a lying horrible customer. That his staff was right and that I said fried rice not lo mein. He also said he doesn't care to loose my business my fiance and I give him at least twice a month because once again I'm a lying horrible customer and then he hung up on me. read more
