Service: 5/5 Food: 3.5-4/5…read moreAmbiance: 4 We were seated very quickly. The menu was short and simple with lunch menus that were pretty well priced. The store itself was not clean. Some of the furniture were stained/coming apart, the restroom was littered with trash/did not have paper towels. We opted for the SESAME CHICKEN + KUNG PAO CHICKEN + PAN FRIED PAO PORK. The sesame chicken was not crispy fried and the sauce was very sweet. The kung pao chicken was a taste that I've never had in this dish ... sweet with a little bit of spice. The pan fried dumplings were okay as well- not the best I've had but okay. In general, this was an okay food stop but I do not see myself driving purposely over here to eat.

We tried the soup dumplings, which didn't have as much broth as expected, and a chicken and shrimp dish that was supposed to be spicy but came out tasting pretty sweet instead. When we mentioned it to our server, they offered chili oil, which was nice, but I would've preferred to experience the dish as it was intended. The interior is simple and it works fine as a spot for a quick bite. That said, I was specifically craving solid Szechuan flavors, and there are definitely better options nearby if that's what you're looking for. But worth a try if you're in the area or as takeout food too!

We were greeted quickly at both the door and table. For a dumpling house, there weren't that many options for dumplings. We order two types of dumplings, a noodle dish and an entree on recommendation of the staff. The pork soup dumplings were very soupy on the inside and had a good flavor. The pan fried bao dumplings were alright but morning to write home about; I thought the bun to filling ratio was good for a bao though. For noodles we got the house rice noodles. I typically don't order this but I thought it was really well done with a good ratio of ingredients and flavor. Lastly we ordered the sales egg pork ribs. They were cut to bite size pieces but that's deceptive since they were bone in. Some pieces were all bone and some all meat. While the flavor was good, some might call it dry and the cut made it difficult to eat. While the seasoning for all the dishes were flavorful, I thought the salt was a little heavy. Overall the restaurant was clean with a semi modern decor. The staff were all friendly and tried to be helpful throughout the visit. I'd give it a try if you're in the neighborhood.

Ordering is via tablets at the table. We instructed the staff to bring it out as the kitchen finished it since we were sharing like tapas style. Service is top notch. The eggplant was amazing. The pork belly had more fat than I would prefer but that's a personal preference. The Peking duck was really good. Not quite as good as a hole in the wall I ate at in Beijing but it was a great Christmas dinner that wasn't routine. The menu is extensive and you really can't go wrong with the variety.

The restaurant was super busy and had lots of take out and catering orders as well which was a good sign. The fish dish was filled with fresh peppers and onions with tender white fish in a delicious brown sauce and served with rice. Excellent dish. Our second dish was seafood ho fun (flat rice noodles). This dish was served fresh and piping hot with shrimp, squid, fish, green veggies, and black mushroom along with other ingredients server on top of a bed of broad rice noodles. We were pleasantly surprised at how well prepared this dish was and the amazing wok hei flavor. The menu is extensive and we will definitely be back again!

Perfect if you're looking to celebrate more intimately with your group. We got their Go chu jap chae, Cream shrimp, Jjambbong, Tangsuyuk, and Seafood jaengban. It was my first time having Go chu jap chae but I really enjoyed all the bell peppers and onions with thin cuts of beef. The fluffy rolls were just a plus. Cream shrimp were also fluffy but my favorite dishes were definitely the Jjambbong and Seafood jaengban. It was difficult to say which one I liked better because they were both delicious in their own ways! The Tangsuyuk was also crispy with the sweet and sour dipping sauce on the side. Overall, my friends and I had a great time. The food was fantastic, the portions were hefty, and the prices were justified. Staff were attentive and efficient so I can't wait to come again. The jajangmyun sauce comes in varying degrees of spiciness, but even the medium isn't too bad; has a slight kick but doesn't take away from the overall taste. The tang soo yuk also has two different batter options, one is little chewier than the other, but it was recommended to me by the waitress and definitely enjoyed it with their sweet and sour sauce. The waitresses there have always been very attentive and professional, never regret leaving a big tip because they definitely worked for it. Overall, ambiance is pretty noisy as there are a lot of seats and since it's a very family orientated restaurant, it's usually been packed with families enjoying a meal. The restaurant also shares a parking lot with a Tesla super charger, so it was perfect for me to plug my car in while I eat.

PEKING DUCK - $43.95 It's the same 2-course meal where they will bring the whole roasted duck and then slice in front of you, then serve w/ the crepe wraps, thinly sliced onions and cucumbers, and hoisin sauce. The crispy skin is the best part, yum! For the 2nd course, we did the salt-n-pepper stir fry ... next time we'll just do the regular stir fry. As you can see from the photo, there really wasn't that much meat in the stir fry, everything felt pretty charred, and what meat was there was super salty. The first course was the highlight! FYI they charge $5 if you order more wraps. JAPANESE TOFU CLAY POT - $19.95 This was so delicious - they use silken tofu so it just melts in your mouth. The sauce includes minced pork too - very good w/ rice! I loved this dish! STIR FRIED YU CHOY - $18.95 We wanted some greens - I thought it was just ok. BRAISED CHICKEN W/ GINGER - $22.95 Good flavor but it's boned chicken and there are also tiny bone bits throughout ... we found it stressful to eat b/c you really have to be careful. I wouldn't order this again. Overall great spot for family-style dining. Very extensive menu - almost overwhelming! FYI they charge $5 for tea. Our server was very helpful and honest w/ his recommendations - thank you!

The clams weren't the freshest, but the flavor was still there. Rice noodles were fine, nothing crazy. The snow pea tips were a standout with perfect texture and clean flavor. We started with the Fuqi Feipian, which was on the salty side but otherwise pretty standard. The Seafood Shark Fin Soup was surprisingly bland, as if no salt had been added. We had to add red vinegar just to bring out some flavor, and it could have used more white pepper and seasoning overall. Next was the stir-fried squid with vegetables (I forgot the exact name). It included scallions, taro strips, and red peppers, but the taste was fairly average. The sweet and sour pork (Lychee Pork) was close to the Fujian-style flavor I'm familiar with, though the sauce was a bit light and not as tangy or sweet as expected. We also ordered the seafood fried rice noodles, which were very mild in flavor and lacked wok hei. It felt under-seasoned, almost like the seasoning was forgotten again. One standout dish was the red fermented rice pork intestines with snow peas, a classic Fujian specialty. The red fermented rice flavor really came through, and this dish was definitely worth supporting. The crispy roast duck was another highlight--crispy skin, juicy meat, and served with steamed pancakes, shredded cucumber, scallions, and sweet bean sauce. Very satisfying in every bite. The restaurant also offered complimentary orange slices at the end, which was a nice touch. Portions were generous, prices were reasonable, and overall it was a fairly filling meal. If you enjoy Fujian-style cuisine, it's worth giving this place a try.
