Taste bad
Tracy S.

I have eaten here a few times. The owners are very nice and friendly. The restaurant is clean. They offer lunch specials every day of the week. Ample parking. Today I ordered the paper wrapped beef and the beef and snow peas. The paper wrapped beef came with 2 sauces on a small bit of cabbage. It was ok. The beef and snow peas it said it came with water chestnuts on the winder menu, on line, on Yelp. 9on door dash, ect but she showed me some menu that showed they removed it during Covid but they happily did add it in saying that when I order it again to please remind them that I want them. This saucey dish comes in a styrofoam container with a bag slid over but it leaked out every where with any movement. Sauced dishes should come in sealable containers. This is the standard. And, the beef and snow peas were tasteless. I added hot sauce and the soy sauce they gave me and it is still not enough to save this dish. While waited they brought me water and fried noodles with sweet sauce. This is a nice touch. They also gave an almond cookie. The AC was cold and comfortable in the restaurant. I want to like it here but the food is not flavorful enough for me. And the food taste is the most important thing so I don't think this is for me. Also the soy sauce packet is terrible. And has corn syrup.

I stopped by last night to have a quick meal. The service was great and the food was pretty good! I had Orange chicken, it came with a side of rice, and I surprisingly finished all of it. I would definitely come back again. :)

My family has been customers of Jade China for several moons. This area is Moreno Valley near Edgemont, but they carved out the street, so revenue goes to Riverside. I ordered the Kung Pao Three Delight with fried rice & noodles, Hot & Sour Soup, and Eggplant & Tofu with Szechuan Garlic Sauce (added beef). Everything was great and flavorful. It's what you'd expect from a fast-casual to-go Chinese spot.

Hot & crispy beef

I've been coming to Jade China since they opened, and it's been consistently good! It's in the top 3 Chinese food restaurants in Moreno Valley for me. The dining room is clean and comfortable. The employees are super nice and always attentive. I come for the fresh food, cooked to order. No steam table with hours old food here. I ordered something different everytime I come, and everything is always tasty and fresh. Today I had the Indonesian rice and the hot & crispy beef. The rice was super flavorful with a fried egg on top. It was a bit too wet for me. I like fried rice that is dry, not wet. The beef was delicious Crispy, sweet and a little spicy. The two dishes were so good together! I'll be back soon Jade China The Wor Wonton soup is the best around

Crispy beef lunch special
Tim B.

I came here for my lunch break and they were having a lunch special on spicy crispy beef that came with a choice of fried rice or steamed, and also some chow mein and your choice of soup (egg drop or sweet-and-sour). I quickly chose that because it sounded delicious and it did not disappoint. The beef was indeed crispy and had a good spice to it. I ordered the fried rice instead of the steamed and it wasn't overpoweringly oily. It had a nice flavor and it complimented well with the hot sauce I requested. The hat and sour soup was absolutely delicious. I'm not a fan of tofu, and I let them know that and they did a great job of ensuring not to scoop any tofu into it. The chow mein was delicious. I just had to mix it up a little bit to get all the flavor together. The place is very calm and clean, and was playing instrumental music which was a nice touch to keep the atmosphere relaxing. I would definitely come back here.

Egg drop Soup and crispy noodles (complimentary).

March 2026 Came in on a Sunday craving mapo tofu. I checked the menu and there it was. Service: typical Chinese restaurant. Don't expect refills or conversations about the day or the meaning of life. Bathroom: clean. Toilet and a urinal. Food: Before my main course arrived, I was served a small cup of egg drop soup and some crispy noodles with some type of sweet dipping sauce. Considering these were complimentary, I'm not going to complain. Soup was my okay. my mapo tofu came with a side of white rice. Upgrading to brown or fried rice will cost you an additional $1. This is the most bizarre mapo tofu I've ever had. Rather than the traditional ground pork and wood ear mushrooms, this came with long strips of fried pork and no mushrooms. I'm also used to thicker sauce, but this one was very watery. A tad spicy, but not over bearing. Maybe a recipe from a different Provence of china? Not what I was looking for. $15.00 later and a fortune cookie...and I was done. Not sure if I'd come here for the mapo tofu again. Others in the restaurant offered the 2-3 item combos. Typical orange chicken or Kung Pao chicken w rice or chow mein. Not my thing.

Mongolian beef with a LOT of onions.

The food is subpar. The Mongolian beef is primarily onions and not so much beef. The orange chicken was dry and flavorless. The "fried rice" was only white rice mixed with soy sauce. There was no vegetables or eggs. Overall very disappointing.

My family and I have come to Jade China for many years. No matter when we come back their food is always: fresh, well balanced, piping hot, and the same consistent quality we love whether we pickup or Door Dash. They have a huge menu and lunch specials, daily. We will continue coming back!

Hiding in the sprawling shopping complex of Moreno Valley lies this Chinese restaurant that's not set up for combination meals, but rather, dining in. Sure, takeout is optional and possibly delivery via Uber Eats et al., but dining in is more relaxing. I had an hour lunchtime so I wanted to get acquainted with the menu and atmosphere. Service was quick and friendly, and the meal included an appetizer snack (sticks?) with dipping sauce, followed by a bowl of egg-drop soup. My main course was a Szchuan staple: Mapo Tofu, with Pork. A spicy option that didn't disappoint. Served with rice, it's probably best approached with a spoon instead of a fork or chop sticks. It's pretty Westernized so I think if I wanted chop sticks I'd have to ask. Anyhow, it was delicious. The soup was good, although my absolute favorite rendition of egg-drop goes hands down to HKBBQ in University Village. Nonetheless, having it included in the price is outstanding. Just add a little white pepper to make it marvelous. The main course was perfectly executed. Great sauce with excellent consistency. Spicy but not over the top, and all ingredients were enjoyable. I had some leftover, but I didn't have a way to keep it refrigerated, so sadly, I had to leave it behind. My goal is to revisit a few more times and try different things.

Ask the Community - Jade China

Do they have outdoor dining?

Recently, they have placed a few tables out front, under the overhang, but it's not a typical al fresco dining setup. That said, given the small dining area inside, it's a helpful addition. It would be great if they relocated to a larger facility.…

I received brown rice not the fried rice I purchased. What shall I do now?

That may be the fried rice. See my review.

Can we order party trays of salted pepper wings?

If you dream it they will make it lol

Our entire family grieved the loss of one of the best dim sum and Chinese cuisine restaurants in the Riverside area. But lately, there was a lot of talk, good talk, that the same owner had reopened here, a tinier bistro setting, not as flashy interior. So here we are, finally, late to the party, but sublimely happy. First things first. An order of their siu mai. Still just as plump, with their signature, wonderful pork- shrimp filling, my taste buds let out a big sigh of relief. I've had to endure some pretty horrible ones from other restaurants lately. Big Skyy's is superb. Next, the black bean pork ribs. Wonderful, just as we remembered. A healthy portion, plenty of meat in spite of the bones. Great gravy. Finally, the eggplant with beef. This one was extra special, made with generous amounts of filet mignon, eggplant cut in spears, cooked in a salty sweet garlic sauce that is very special. It was melt-in-your-mouth, swoon worthy. One of my favorites. They still accommodate large family groups, a few big round tables for 6 or more. The staff was very friendly and took the time to answer all our questions. They feature the same marvelous menu and the same chef who creates those traditional Chinese dishes with pizzazz. It's wonderful to re-acquaint ourselves with an old "friend". It's even better to know, the important things we remembered have not changed a bit. You would be right to assume we will be back!

This time around, we ordered the stir-fried garlic string beans, xiaolongbao, kung pao chicken, and chicken chow mein, along with a Coke and Dr. Pepper. Let me just say, those garlic string beans are something else. I don't know what they put in them, but they're seriously so good. Definitely one of my favorite things to order here. Everything else was delicious too! The restaurant itself is really nice. It's clean, modern, and has a comfortable atmosphere. I actually really like the seating and chairs. A nice little touch is that every table has its own homemade chili oil, which is perfect if you like a little extra kick with your food. They also brought out a pitcher of water for the table, which I appreciated. Service has always been good in my experience. It does get pretty busy, but that's understandable considering how popular the place is. At this point, I've lost count of how many times I've been here, and I'll definitely keep coming back. Good food, good service, and a nice atmosphere.

Unacceptable Food Handling Practices and Complete Disregard for Customer Concerns!…read more I was extremely disturbed by the lack of basic food safety and hygiene practices I witnessed during my recent visit to this restaurant. Although every employee appeared to be wearing gloves, I did not witness a single glove change. I watched servers clear dirty dishes from tables and then proceed to serve fresh food to other customers while wearing the exact same gloves. This is a serious cross-contamination concern and completely defeats the purpose of wearing gloves in the first place. What made this experience even more disappointing was the response when I brought the issue to a server's attention. Rather than acknowledging my concern or taking any action, she simply looked at me, smiled, and walked away. No explanation, no acknowledgment, and absolutely no indication that my concern was being taken seriously. Management needs to take a serious look at its sanitation practices and employee training. Food safety is not optional, and customer concerns should never be dismissed with a smile and a walk away. Very disappointing and concerning experience. I don't care how good the food is, there is absolutely no excuse for such disgusting and unsanitary food-handling practices. Good food means nothing when basic hygiene and customer safety are being ignored.
