service was great everyone was so kind and helpful, and the food was amazing!! definitely coming back!

Quick and easy pickup. Mongolian beef and Sweet and sour Pork are delicious. I'll be ordering from here more often!!

After moving to Lakewood semi-recently, I was on the hunt for a solid Chinese restaurant in my new area, and was so happy to discover Jade Cafe! Every time I have been, my food has been ready before I arrive, not to mention always so hot and fresh. They clearly don't have food sitting for hours at Jade Cafe, as it has always tasted like it is made to order. Their lunch specials and combo plates are a great deal as well. I really can't recommend Jade Cafe highly enough! read more

Consistently great quality food and service! We've been there sting here for over a decade

I just ordered delivery because a couple years ago when I had jade cafe it was so good. But this time I had to throw my whole order away. I honestly could get past the utter blandness of the food but I cannot get past the chicken. It was very rubbery and stringy. I will say though, that the workers were very nice on the phone and during delivery! read more

Love the combination fried rice. This place is really good Chinese food in the area. Service is prompt and efficient.

This place deserves 5 stars for the following: 1) Good value 2) Good food 3) Promptly made 4) Always fresh 5) Better than Panda Express There isn't any other Chinese place in about a 10 mile radius, so if you're a Bear Valley resident this place is better than Panda Express. Better portion size and about the same quality. Is this the best Chinese place in the state? Absolutely not, but if you want quick Chinese, good value and you live within 5 miles this is your spot. The food itself isn't terrible, but it's not for Instagram, and it might be more bland than expected, but just add some kick yourself if that's your thing. Definitely support well managed small businesses over the corporate. read more

Great food and easy to order/pick up. Everyone is welcoming and friendly. I will certainly continue to order from this restaurant. read more

Pros. The young lady who took my delivery order did an Excellent job answering all of my questions and taking down the order. She has a great phone personality. I had her reread and order was correct. The order took 20 minutes less than quoted. The price was really decent for the amount of food. Veggies weren't over cooked. Rice perfectly cooked. Egg rolls good and only a $1.50 per. Cons Cheese wontons tasted off, as if they were sitting in the cooler or freezer and up took odors off of some of the other food. Only ate half of one, rest went to the dog. Kung Pao was NOT at all a spicy. Kung Pao indicates on the menu that it will be spicy but isn't by any stretch of the imagination, maybe I just have the onset of covid and can't taste anymore. Thank goodness I paid .50 extra for some hot chili oil to put on the entree as this was the only thing that saved it. Can not order fried rice sans egg. :( Don't understand why not. This should be an option. Especially if your cooking my order fresh. The order was wrong. No apology , just an answer of "we were wondering where that entree went" The error was taken care of with in 10 mins but that's because I'm so close. Edit: I feel that had an extra app been thrown in to compensate for their mistake when they delivered the correct entree that it was have gone a long way. But seems as if this is a common everyday thing, no apology or sweetening of the pot so to say. When I asked my dinner partner what they thought of the food the literal answer was "it will make a turd ,I guess" Over all a Meh. read more

This place is pretty great, the food is good, the servers are nice, the service speed is very fast, and the prices are really good. I do bike around Bear Creek a lot and this place was close by, so I tried it out and ordered the Sesame Chicken Lunch, it was good, the fried rice and egg roll were good and while the sesame chicken had a little too much breading it still tasted good. Only major complaint I have is the interior isn't the best, there are boxes everywhere, but this place is takeout only anyway so that isn't a huge issue. read more

I placed an order for beef and broccoli no taste what so ever 2 orders of general tso chicken (spicy) Had so much breading couldn't taste anything but breading no chicken taste asked for spicy no spice at all Wontons had very little taste and looked like they had been re cooked, This place use to be good, not sure what happened, won't be ordering from here again A huge waste of $60.00 plus dollars If I could give less then 1 star I most definitely would Only drive up service read more

Horrible food, they cook it ahead of time and heat it up. The deep fried food tours out to be way way over cooked. I had sweet and sour shrimp, the shrimp was tougher than jerky. They replaced my shrimp but it was the same shrimp jerky, save your money go somewhere else. They only got 2 stars bc the Crab wontons were very good, thats it read more

I judge Chinese food by the sesame chicken. The sesame chicken I got here was the best I've ever eaten. The fried rice was full of flavor. The kung pao chicken was tasty. The orange chicken has a good balance of sweet and spicy. We will definitely be going back read more

Just picked up and am eating with extreme disappointment. The food is extremely bland. Needs salt, sesame chicken barely has chicken. It's mostly breading. First and last time going here. Shameful, especially when you pay$60 for bland food read more

I love this place. The staff are professional and friendly. Delivery is very prompt. And the food is great.

We love this place for great Chinese food. If you're not in their delivery area, and even if you are, you have to call in your order then call again when you get there and they bring it out to you in your car. I'd like to give them more stars but they went overboard with the pandemic and closed down the whole restaurant and Idk , maybe they're on to something. I guess it's just I don't know what the cooks are doing in there, what if they're passing out Germs or something like that, "paranoia sinks deep, into your heart it will creep" read more

solid Asian takeout. love love love their cream cheese wontons and egg drop soup. fried rice is meh, entrees are solid. definitely my go to for comfort take out. orders are ready so quickly every time we have ordered which is a great plus. read more

Moved in the neighborhood about 8 months ago. We ordered for pickup the first time and took it home, its was great. Just ordered for delivery and the food order was correct and it was great. Prices are reasonable. Some people were complaining that the food was bland. You can ask for different levels of spice. read more

This place is overpriced for what they give you. I got a sesame chicken lunch combo and it doesn't even taste like sesame chicken. plus the portions are small. This is Dollar Scoop quality Chinese food that I could have gotten out of Dollar Scoop Chinese place for a lot cheaper. I will not be returning here read more

Jade Cafe - Chinese Near Me - Denver, Colorado

I have been going to Jade Cafe for well over a decade if not closer to 20 years. It's always good for Chinese food, and I do recommend them to anyone who asks. But they are bordering on ruining their own great reputation built-up over all that time. About a month ago we ordered from them like we always do, and it was still same good food, lower prices even with the 'rona price raises, delivery was a bit longer than normal, still no big deal. But they left out 1 soup we definitely ordered and paid for. I call them and the employee who answered phone said they did not leave out that soup so I again looked over everything and I told him nope its not here. He then insisted that they had sent it and it quickly got to him not budging and insisted they had sent it. So ok I was not going to just get into a yelling session. I hung up & moved on. We ordered again last night, I wanted us to get another place since it went so weird last time. Fam wasn't on board, because we all love JC. They sent out chicken curry, but i ordered and paid for Beef curry. It says beef on the receipt, and written on the box but the meat inside is clearly and undeniably chicken or pork, its light white meat, beef is almost never white meat that i know of in my 42 years I've never seen white meat beef. I did not eat any of it at all, I am going today to show them and see how they react when I am there showing them rather than make a phone complaint where they can just insist im wrong again. Side note: my wife opened up the box to pour it on a plate for me, she knew immediately they again messed up only my part of the order again and started to apologize for them again. She just said "well it figures" I just want them to have some quality control still, care about the customers who provide the money they live on, and if they make a mistake, they should admit it and do something to make it right. I'll be sure to update after I go later today. read more

Went there on a good recommendation. Staff SO RUDE!! I ordered egg foo Yung. Was told I should have pre ordered that item. If I'm wanting something on the menu why do I need to order 20 minutes ahead of time. Don't mind waiting but it was Burnt on purpose and after they gave it to me he still said "next time pre order!" This place was garbage I wouldn't offer it to a homeless person. The guy taking my order was of course very short and stubby!! Don't order from here unless you want major disappointment !! I've been coming to Jade Cafe since I was in middle school- so over 20 years and they stay consistent and delicious. I am sad that they have been closed for now due to the pandemic- but I am seriously hoping they open up soon so we can support them. read more

I hate to write anything negative about Jade because our family does really enjoy their food. We used to be far more frequent customers when we lived closer to Jade. This 1 star rating is purely a reflection of their customer service. I have checked my odometer and verified we live just a click over 2 miles from the restaurant. I can't get them to deliver...apparently because we are out of delivery area. As recently as December, 2017, a picture of their menu on Yelp states they deliver to areas within 3 miles of their location for $1 or $2 within 4 miles. I called a few nights ago because I was feeling under the weather and wanted their food delivered. I know my son previously had to take them to task on their delivery criteria. They reluctantly delivered at that time; when they delivered our food, they even stated it won't be a problem going forward. Granted, it has been several months ago since we last had delivery. When I gave my address, and after an awkward long hold while they "checked", I was told they don't deliver. I said my son went through this a few months ago and to look up his phone number. Surprise (smh) no record of his order. Then they stated they don't deliver north of Alameda....I wasn't feeling well and didn't even wrap my mind around the fact we are NOT north of Alameda. I have prided myself on emotion free reviews but felt like this warranted a little sass. I don't know what the problem is, but if Jade Cafe's printed menu doesn't specifically restrict its' delivery area, then what's the actual issue? It can't be distance because we are well under their 4 mile maximum, and just a CLICK over 2 miles away!!! read more

Wow, one of the best Chinese restaurants in town. The only thing that is lacking from this place is their dine in. It's best to just do take out. You can't go wrong with this place read more

We just moved to the neighborhood and were excited to see a Chinese restaurant so close by (we lived closer to New China Cafe and were mourning the fact that we are likley now too far away to get that delicious take-out!!). We ordered for pick up and had no issues with the curb-side delivery. The food itself was really delicious, and the portions were great for the price. We'll definitely be regulars at this place! read more

Delicious and friendly! We ordered delivery sweet and sour chicken (sauce is tasty but I like it thicker), fried calamari, seafood combo, and crab rangoon. Best calamari I've had, hands down! The chicken, seafood, veggies, and rice were all super delicious and good portions. They forgot to deliver the rangoons so I can't give them 5 stars but I highly recommend them and will be ordering from them again for sure. read more

After reading all the great reviews, I am very disappointed. Not only was the food atrocious, but the employees were as well. We ordered wonton soup, orange chicken, cream cheese wontons and snap peas with water chestnuts. The only "alright" item was the cream cheese wontons and that's not saying much. The orange chicken was disgusting it was one big clump of chicken and didn't even come apart... that is not okay. I took one bite and couldn't even swallow it. I threw it away so quickly I couldn't even take a picture to show how bad it was. The snap peas with water cashews were marinated in some smelly, brown watery sauce and they were just subpar. Here's the WORST part of it all.. the wonton soup was so hot, the top of the container melted and there were plastic pieces in my soup and the soup leaked all over the bag. Completely inedible and not okay at all. I called and from the minute I called there was issues; the person on the phone kept interrupting me, saying what what what after everything I said and barley gave me a chance to explain myself. I told them very nicely I don't like writing bad reviews, let's resolve this. I spoke with the owner/ manager after speaking with two other employees who 1. Didn't understand my situation after explaining many times the food was gross and plastic bits were melted and 2. They said they will give me a full refund, then changed their mind to "oh we can only give you a refund for the soup, AND you have to come back to the restaurant and pick the money up, but before I could even say yes to that, they hung up on me. I even drove 20 minutes to try this food. After he hung up I called back and I told him I was far away and couldn't drive there in time because I was far away and really? They're going to make me drive 20 minutes each way for a $5 cash refund on my soup (even though I paid w credit card). I really tried to enjoy the food but I spent $30 just for my boyfriend and I to throw the food away and went to bed with empty, upset stomachs. I hope no one else has an awful experience like I did. Be CAREFUL. read more

Jade Cafe - Chinese Near Me - Denver, Colorado

Ordered Kung Pow Chicken yesterday. It was eatable but it certainly wasn't enjoyable! Just really bland and not one of little red chilies in the dish, not one!!! I was so disappointed. That makes the dish for me! That makes me not want to go back for a long, long time!! read more

I am thoroughly disappointed in the food that we ordered from them tonight. We really wanted Chinese food and looked at what was in the area. The one that came with the highest star ratings was the Jade cafe. Well to say the least it was horrible. We ordered sesame chicken that was so dry it wasn't edible and had so little sauce on it wasn't worth the 9.00 dollars I paid for it. We also ordered egg rolls that oddly enough had beef in them. Which is not advertised on the menu. I called to complain and the kid who answers the phone told me they buy them pre packaged. And then didn't offer to refund us or anything. If you want good Chinese food I would definitely it pick this as my first choice. read more

First time visiting here today. I have a horrible cold and every time I get sick the need for hot Chinese food is STRONG. And it has to be good otherwise everything is ruined and I feel worse. I ordered general tso's with tofu instead of meat and vegetable lo mein. Both were solid and hit the spot! My husband had chicken lo mein and he enjoyed that as well. Fast service and clean interior. Looks like we found our neighborhood "go-to" for Chinese :) read more

Good food, fast service, and great peeps! Inexpensive too!

Decent Americanized Chinese food. I ordered the sweet and sour shrimp combo plate, fried dumplings, and pork lo mein for delivery. The food was delivered fast, but that could be because I was only a few blocks away. The combo plate came with fried rice and an egg roll. The egg roll wasn't that great and the fried rice was just plain rice stir fried in soy sauce, but I did enjoy the shrimp. The lo mein was packed with pork and was very tasty. As for the dumplings, I found that it had too much ginger for my tastes and the dipping sauce tasted a bit wonky. All-in-all, not bad for the price and I would definitely order from here again. read more

Ordered sweet and sour shrimp. It was dry overbreaded and overcooked. Nothing but dry shimp and a Container of sweet and sour no vegies. The breading left a terrible Taste in my mouth and i couldn't digest it. Ugh very disappointed. read more
