Love Jade Cafe! The food is always amazing and packed with flavor. Everything I've had has been fresh, delicious, and you can tell they really care about what they serve. The owners are great too. I respect that they stand by their beliefs and stay true to who they are. I'm happy to support a local business like that. Great food, great people, and I'll definitely keep coming back! read more

We've ordered from here over 100 times and are usually pleased, but today was absolutely abysmal. Beef with broccoli had an off flavor and the rice for all 3 of the orders was extremely overcooked and just mush. Not fried rice at all. Disappointed and dissatisfied, I'll give you another shot because you are so close convenient and have been great in the past, but then it's on to finding somewhere else. read more

Jade Cafe - a table with a variety of food items - Chinese Near Me - Denver, Colorado

So many great things to say about this place! The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming, and the food was amazing. They have a decent amount of seating inside with artwork done on the walls by the owner. Their current lunch special is such a great deal! The crab and cheese wontons are the best I've ever had. Super fresh, perfectly crispy, and full of flavor, not processed tasting at all. My partner usually avoids them for that reason and even they loved them. The orange chicken was another standout. The sauce tasted fresh and balanced, not overly sweet or artificial like you sometimes get at other places We'll definitely be back, I highly recommend. Love supporting local establishments but in this case some of flavor profiles weren't my personal favorite. We ordered broccoli beef. It was my favorite among what we ordered. The broccoli and beef was fresh and delicious. The beef quality was really nice and hadn't been velveted to be weird and mushy like so many establishments do. The brown sauce was delicate but flavorful. I even drizzled it on the noodles we ordered. We also got chicken lo mein and it was very bland. Chicken was all dark meat and there was just no sauce and no flavor at all. Nonetheless it tasted fresh and the noodles were nice. The sesame chicken was crispy and had good but basic flavor... and also not white meat chicken. I'd have made a different selection if I was aware of that. We also tried their crab cheese wontons. For me these were too crabby in flavor but I'm not a huge seafood person. For seafood lovers these would be great. Service was fast and helpful despite there being a fair bit of crowd inside over the weekend. If in the area, I'd definitely go again and try different selections to see what is most tasty to me and try requesting white meat in a dish I'm interested in. Would recommend and try again! read more

This place is absolutely terrible!!! DO NOT EAT HERE. You have to order through a computer as if we couldn't just do it from the comfort of our home. The service really sucked no welcome in and when the food was done all they did was set it down and forgot to give us silverware. Now the food was the worst oriental food I've ever had, my husband and I couldn't stand it 31.00 dollars down the drain on some nasty ass lo mein and sesame chicken. The cooks didn't have their hair pinned up and all looked like they were dripping sweat in the food. And the icing on top was all their pride flags hanging up and "fuck ice signs" everywhere including on the menu, if you have an opinion keep it out of a work environment. Don't waste any amount of time or money on this place. I wish I could give this place a negative number. read more

Terrible food. Orange chicken was hard as if it was cooked a while back and left out. Broccoli (w/beef) was underdone- some heads still a bit cold. Service was slow and inattentive. read more

Once a week I buy food for my entire crew of 20 guys. This week they decided on oriental food. Several of us pull up to pick up our order. They have one of those ridiculous No ice signs on the front door. All my guys are from other countries and yes, they all came here legally. They were a little pissed off. We canceled our order and went to the next place. We don't do the woke thing. Too bad it was a pretty big order. Stay triggered. Lolol. read more

Jade Cafe - Sesame chicken pan fried dumplings - Chinese Near Me - Denver, Colorado

Saw a video on tiktok saying their lunch time rush was slow so i wanted to check out this local business. It seemed to have picked up, however, because they had a pretty decent line when I arrived. I ordered the spicy sesame chicken (this was a brew knew for me) and the chicken wings. The gentleman at the front, I think he might've been the owner, was kind. I appreciate that the food was cooked to order. The sesame chicken was immaculate, probably the best I've ever eaten, the chicken wings were fried perfectly crispy but needed salt. They have an awesome lunch special that comes with an egg roll, entree, and drink. If I'm ever far out that way, I would definitely go again. read more

I just found out that there was change in ownership. We ordered Chicken Lomein and veggies. It was great, the noodles had a fresh clean taste. The veggies were crisp not soggy. I will absolutely give the new owner Foo, a 5 out 5, and revisit soon. read more

Someone suggested the crab cheese wontons in a voicemail i recieved. They really are good! I feel so bad the lady is lactose suddenly, she must of had some bad karma coming from her lack of human decency, and probably lack of a brain. Anyway i love the wontons thanks for the rec lady! read more

Have been ordering from this restaurant for over 20 years and loved it!!! However, it has changed in the past year and service has gone down. We were able to call and put in an order with specific requests, they don't do that anymore. We have had to go in person a couple of times just to put in for an order...no more delivery!! In addition, they do not update their menu and some items are no longer available. I also noticed a lot of people have been coming in to place orders.. what does that tell you? Hope they go back to their old ways! Does anyone know of any other local good Chinese restaurants? read more

Wow, wow, WOW! Jade Cafe is absolutely incredible! Truly a hidden gem! My wonderful wife had been hearing me talk about wanting to try their food and decided to surprise me! I saw them online via Livestream. I love that the staff happily shows what they are doing in the kitchen. It gives the consumers peace of mind. When you walk in please make sure to take in all the extremely talented Art work on the walls! Upon ordering or picking up an order you will be greeted by the smiling staff, immediately following their helpful service. We ordered online (Picked Combo. It's your order with rice and an egg roll.) When we arrived it was packed up, ready to go and still warm! They offered us utensils, and made sure we were happy with everything. Once we got back to the car and closed the doors, it definitely trapped the tantalizing smells coming from the food. We got down the street (barely), stopped at a Gas Station and immediately began to dig in! Parked at the gas station just eating in complete silence for 15/20 min. All we could say after was WOW! I got Beef and broccoli, my wife got sweet and sour chicken and best friend got the sesame chicken. All INCREDIBLE! It is everything I have been searching for since moving to Colorado. They do a $10 lunch special but if you miss the special then know it will still be under $20! I will be recommending Jade Cafe to EVERYONE I ENCOUNTER IN LIFE! My wife is now aware that I will crave nothing but Jade Cafe each month! read more

This is a great, quirky little place. Fantastic lunch specials: my favorite, General Tso's Chicken, was perfectly crispy and spicy with plenty of vegetables. The owner is very friendly and shows genuine interest in his guests. The owner has created many of the wall decorations and even brings in flowers from his yard to brighten the tables -- one of the quirky things that adds to the charm is the flower "vases" are all reused containers originally for other purposes, like gummy bear vitamin bottles. read more

Yummy little gem tucked away off Sheridan and hampden. Bear Valley for us natives! Phu, the owner took over this restaurant about seven months ago. What a wonderful guy. Let's get to the food. We went for the famous lunch special for $10. I had sesame chicken. My husband had Mongolian beef. The chicken was amazing...really, really nice white Meat with a lighter breading than most. The sweet-and-sour sauce was really good. I'm a little nutty and I don't like a lot of sweet and my sweet-and-sour and it was a perfect mix of both. My husband had a lot of beef in his Mongolian beef. The texture was good. The vegetables were crisp, and the flavor was spot on. I might want to add that my husband is Chinese and I made him come here because I wanted to see what all the hype was about he thoroughly enjoyed it, and there was nothing left on his plate. If you're down this way or even if you're not, make a stop, the food is amazing. They make it fresh right in front of you if you wanna stare...go say hi to Phu. Great restaurant, even greater person. read more

There's so many good things to say about this place! I went with my brother and his fiancée a few days ago and it was amazing. They're SO nice and friendly and just have amazing service. They have flowers from their personal garden on each table and they gave us drinks for free--not even they insisted we take one. Their food genuinely made my day is was amazing and their orange chicken is js . We also got line art postcards from them as we were leaving and they're actually really cool. I ate dinner at Jade Cafe and the next day I was 20 pounds lighter, 100k richer, and my IQ went up 30 points. The staff knew my order before I walked in, which was weird because it was my first time. This is my "go to" Asian food place in my neighborhood. I've been ordering food from here for 15 years now and I've always been impressed. The staff is pleasant, the food is hot and fresh and the price has always been reasonable. They do free delivery in the Bear Valley area and that is much appreciated. I wish they would open to dine in again but covid changed a lot of things. I will continue to order from this place. It's been same family owned since 1988. That's really cool in my opinion. read more
