I think the Diner is a spectacular restaurant. It's absouletly clean inside there. It smells delicious inside there too. They have multiple options of what to eat. It doesn't cost a lot of money either. If you have a lot of people with you, their food will fill everyone up. If they're really hungry their desert menu is outstanding. Something I don't like is how long the food comes. If you can't eat meat you can get fish or filet -o- fish there. The're chicken tenders are remarcable! I always get chicken tenders when I go there because it always fils me up when I'm hungry. There desert menu options are unibelivable. You can literally get chocolate on ice cream for 5$. Wow! You can also get ice cream with frosting on it. I recommed you should try the Diner! read more

I had high hopes as this diner was packed when we got there. It took about 10 minutes before someone even took drinks. When we told our waitress we were not ready to order yet, she said " thank god!" About ten minutes later, came back to take our order. She forgot to bring out the soup and immediately brought out our meals. She realized she forgot my toast and instead of getting it, just said " can you guys just share his toast?". I ordered pancakes and eggs--simple enough, right? The pancakes were, by far, the worst pancakes I have ever eaten at a diner. They were hard and almost too tough to be cut with a fork. Very disappointed. read more

Food is consistenly very good and the temperature served is consistent also. The service is over the top and the waitresses are the best I ever experienced always friendly and reassuring they want you to enjoy your meal . Its employees like this that make an establishment out shine others. I have had breakfast, lunch and dinner here and all were prepared correctly, flavorful and filling. I will recommend this Diner to anyone, the food is consistent and the place very clean and the service outstanding. The menu covers a wide array of culinary entrees, all reasonably priced. Came here right before hitting Six Flags on a nice Sunday morning. We only waited a few minutes to be seated despite the restaurant looking super packed. I got the corn beef hash (soooo good), a buttered bagel, and some OJ. My friends got egg sammies, omelettes, pancakes, and everyone loved their meal. Normally, I love this diner for the great food and service but do not ever go there when it's busy unless you want to send your order back to fix a big mistake, and definitely don't order for pickup. I ordered, for pickup, a (cold) roast beef wrap with no mayo for $8.99 and got a lukewarm roast beef wrap slathered with mayo. Mayo triggers my migraines, and try as I might, I could not get all traces off the wrap. On top of that, I think that lukewarm rare/nearly raw beef may be the most disgusting thing I have ever tried to eat. Unfortunately, since it was a pickup order, I didn't notice this until I was already home almost fifteen minutes away. That is much too far to drive again twice over to fix a mistake that they made, especially with gas prices being through the roof. This was nine dollars and a nearly half hour total drive wasted on an inedible, disgusting mess. Exercise great caution. read more

It doesn't look like the typical diner (located in a strip mall), but they have good food, and a nice interior atmosphere. The menu is typical diner food, plus a few specials. Excellent staff & service. Average price range. Would definitely recommend it.! read more

Was so happy and impressed with our first opportunity to eat here since moving here in November. I had the Greek omelet with gyro meat and white sauce and hubby ordered the Philly omelet. Everything was excellent! Service was awesome and came with a smile!! read more

Never a bad meal at this place. Great variety to the menu, and they give you plenty of food. The traditional "diner" choices are top-notch, but some of the entree options you can get here (particularly the Italian choices) are much better than you would get at other restaurants (non-diners) in the area. Not a big seafood fan, but have heard others rave about the quality/freshness of their seafood dishes. Who orders seafood at a diner? Apparently, this is the place that you can. The service is better than just about any place we have ever gone to. If you are there for breakfast, you will not go more than a few minutes without getting your coffee topped off. I actually had a server apologize to me once that she did not come by to refill me....and I had been sitting for maybe 3 minutes without coffee. They visit your table to check in frequently, without overdoing it or bothering you. Whoever runs this place knows exactly what they are doing. read more

This place is pretty cool. Drove by, walked by and looked in through the windows 100s of times and then one day, I went in. Walked into what seemed to be a time machine. The diner is decorated in an old 50s type theme (can I say that? I'm an 80s baby, how would I know what the 50s were like, oh yeah, MOVIES). Anyway, there is a dining bar that seats about 15. A few tables in the middle while the diner is outlined with booths. Its a small but large place, if that makes any sense to you. If it don't, go check it out for yourself and you will know what i mean. The food is actually really good. Breakfast is awesome, especially before 11am if you order the special. The portions are relatively large and will fill an average person up without a problem. The crowed that dines here varies from high school kids (Jackson Liberty HS is right across the street) to Senior Citizens and everything in between. Everyone seems to get along well and mingles well with each other, both customers and employees. Over all it is a comfortable place, may be loud at times but who wouldn't be during lunch time ya kno? Its a fun place, a different place if you will. I enjoyed it, im sure ill be back again. Maybe ill see you (the reader) there next time! Definitely my favorite diner! 50s theme is cute and it reminds me of a NY eatery. Great menu and lots of choices! There are so many good omelets on the menu and portions are large! Great coffee and excellent service too. Be prepared to wait for a table on the weekend - it's worth it! read more

One of my daughter's favorite diners but my last two visits we were very disappointed. First of all, the condition of the bathroom is horrible! This causes me concern about the kitchen area. I was always told if you want to know how clean a restaurant is, just look at the bathrooms. My fault for ordering the Prime Rib at a diner. It was the WORST I've had in my life. They fried it in a pan. It was VILE. My son had rubbery pancakes. Jackson diner usually has some good food with a pretty wide menu selection. I will however tell you to stay away from Granny's famous potato pancakes... these were disgusting. Almost like four McDonalds hash browns on top of some lettuce and tomatoes for breakfast... yuck. read more
