She voiced repeatedly that the ticket is titled hemming, which I immediately disagreed with. She condescendingly stated that she took measurements and everything to hem the pants, which I disagreed with yet again. I even pleaded for her to look at the camera footage to see that I pointed to my zipper to have fixed that's it. Instead of apologizing for altering my clothes without my permission...she proceeded to talk over me, minimize my complaint, and insist I pay an additional fee for the exact service I want. I refused and asked to speak to a manager/ owner. She informed me that Joe is the owner and will give me a call the next business day which never happened. Forward to today, 8/21/26, I arrived at 12:40p to speak to someone about my pants. Again, I was forced to speak with Kim, who begrudgingly announced that Joe isn't there and will not be there till Monday. Also, failed to inform me by phone any day this week that Joe wanted to speak to me in person to resolve the issue. I inquired why I wasn't called. She talked over me yet again and stated I would still have to pay to get my zipper fixed in addition to the hemming service. Again, I stated that I did not ask for a hem and why am I not being compensated for a service I did not ask for? She brought out this male, who claims to be a manager. He refused to give me his name. I'll provide a description instead. He appears 5'6 "/ 5'7 ". Blue/greenish eyes, blonde/ brown beard. Black wedding band. Black baseball cap He is as rude, apathetic, and egregious as Kim. He refused to listen to anything I had to say. Talked over me. Insisted I pay another $20 for the initial service I inquired about. Basically labelled me as a liar because the women working the front desk don't make mistakes. Because I tried to reason with me plead that the hem be undone. He mentioned a policy that the jeans need to fit before they can undo or complete a service. I asked to see the policy. He declined to provide it. He called me unreasonable and complicated and asked me to leave. I refused. I asked him to look at the camera footage to see the exact gestures I made pointing to the zipper I wanted fixed. He refused and said we don't have audio. At this point I'm enraged. Voice trembling. Appalled at the service I received. I stated that the way I'm being treated is unfair and racist. I will be taking legal action. I strongly implore anyone of color to think long and hard before receiving services from them!

I went to them to get two pairs of jeans taken in at the waist and tailored. After 2 weeks I left…read morewith 1 pair of jeans altered. You can try your garments on in store and have them pinned by an employee so you can see you're getting the fit you want. One employee came in for the first pair I had on, pinned them quickly, and told me that they were good. For my second pair a different employee came in and told me that they recommend getting a smaller size, as there was too much fabric to alter the jeans effectively. I thought it was odd that they could work with one pair and not the other, but they are different fits and I don't know anything about hemming pants. I paid for the one pair of jeans to be altered and returned the other pair to the store and ordered more. I dropped the jeans off on a Monday midday, and I was told that I could pick them up anytime after 5pm that Thursday. I went on Friday at 4pm to pick them up and was asked to wait 30 minutes for them to finish up. Annoying, but fine. I came back in after 30 minutes and a different employee said they don't know why I was asked to wait. They could not alter the pants. She then brought out the unaltered jeans, pinned but not worked on, and said that she would recommend I get another size. This is the first time they are telling me they can't work on the pants I paid for Monday and that were supposed to be done the day prior. No phone call, nothing. At this point I had the other pair of jeans that I had ordered after my visit on Monday. I was desperate for the jeans to fit in time for a trip, so I left them with the new pair. I was told that for my trouble she would rush the new pair I dropped off and have them done on the following Tuesday after 4pm. I went on Tuesday at 4:30. They were not done. I was asked to wait 30 minutes, I ended up waiting an hour. The pants fit well at the waist, but then I had to wait for them to pin them to be taken up. I was told that I could pick the pants up that following Saturday after 3pm. Spoiler alter - THEY WEREN'T DONE! The employee behind the counter asked if I really needed them done and seemed annoyed when I said that I did. They rush hemmed them and got them to me in 20 minutes. This was the worst customer service I've received in a long time, and while the result was good, I don't think it was worth the hassle. It was $40 to get the jeans taken in at the waist and $13 for the hem. If you just need a hem, or you have the patience to be told something different every time you speak to an employee, I think you'll be fine. I would not recommend.

The owner insisted it was just detergent and claimed not to smell anything off. She agreed to reclean it, but the odor remained. The rug was unsalvageable and, being discontinued, impossible to replace--ruining the design of the room. Despite this, I gave them another chance, assuming the issue was with their third-party rug cleaner. This time, I brought in a barely-used winter quilt set to be cleaned before storing it for the season. The place was undergoing renovations, it was sweltering, and the doors were wide open with fans blowing. I was told it might take longer--but surprisingly, it was ready the next day. When I picked it up, the entire package reeked of cat urine, fake floral scent, and body odor. One sham even had a bleach-like fade, though they swore no bleach was used. I contacted them immediately when I got home. Again, I was told it was just detergent. I couldn't even bring the items into the house--the stench was unbearable and multiple family members agreed. I brought it back for recleaning, and the owner, still claiming she couldn't smell anything after putting her nose right into the fabric, supposedly "washed" it again with unscented detergent and deodorizer. It came back even worse--now with a fishy odor added to the mix. I'm now out a $400 quilt set, (on top of the rug that was thrown out in the fall) and all they offered was a refund for the original cleaning. No accountability. Instead of an apology or offer to make things right, one of the attendants began explaining the difference between dry cleaning and hand pressing, which I found unnecessary since I managed a laundromat and have experience working with a dry cleaner in Dormont. Next, at the cash register, another employee rang up the cost of the tailoring. This employee seemed to be new, and the other employee politely helped her. I had the option of either paying for the tailoring then or later at pickup. I chose to pay for my dress right then, and the cost of tapering my dress from the underarm to the bottom was $32.75. The employees told me that my dress would be ready for pickup after 5 PM on Friday. On Friday, the store sent me a text message to remind me that my tailored dress was ready for pickup. I picked up my dress on a Saturday morning. An employee greeted me, and then she looked for my dress in the back and brought it out to me. I felt surprised that she did not ask me to try on the dress in the store, but I tried on the dress at home, and the dress fit me well.
