Food is great, customer service is great. The new owners are super friendly. While we were waiting for our food they brought my daughter a balloon, and if that wasn't enough after we got done eating our pizza they brought a a complimentary desert to try out and I would highly recommend trying it! Wow!!!! Worst service I have ever seen. They took an order by phone I go in when they said 20 minutes. They have no record of the order they have no idea what was going on and this was only in 20 minutes.The delivery boy I've seen blow through stop signs constantly. He is the one with red hair just to point that out. Their customer service is horribleI. I would not recommend ever eating there. Try New York pizza kitchen if you want really good pizza it's a little expensive but much better service. If the owner reads this I would recommend getting new staff or train your personnel and maybe your business would do a little better than what it is right now. read more

Had a really delicious Calzone and some insanity bread! The wife really liked the bread too, which is a definite win. I guess I should start by saying "Austin I'm sorry." I came in around 1:30pm, just after a lunch rush. While the place was clean and about filled to half capacity, the employees looked like they were ready for a break. Austin acknowledged me immediately; I told him I was in to pay my deposit on the party room. At the same time a man at the bar gestured for his second beer to be delivered. Austin politely told him he'd be right with him. Here's where the "I'm sorry" comes in. He had a little difficulty finding the reservation book; I tormented him the entire time. He is definitely grace under pressure. After he located the book, I questioned the entire reservation and deposit making practices. I don't think he set them, yet I need to leave with a certain amount of confidence that my cash deposit will not be lost and that when I show up for my daughter's pizza party, the room won't be filled with drunken Raider fans. My husband is a Raider fan so I feel free to torment him and the team he supports too. See Austin you aren't the only one that has to deal with me. By this time, the beer guy walks out. He didn't seem mad but he didn't get his second beer either. Bye Felicia! I'm still not quite finished interrogating Austin, about my reservation, deposit and choice of hat. It was pink with flowers on it. Apparently it is for a local band called (you guessed it) "The Flowers." They must be really good because as I stated earlier, the hat was pink. I know some of you are thinking it's okay for a man to wear pink. I don't disagree with you. But I want you to imagine the spunk it takes to wear that in a pizza, bar that is synonymous with being a Raider fan hangout. Maybe he removes it and adds a Raider hat during the games? I don't know, but it's a nice hat, worn by a nice guy. I made Austin make me a handwritten receipt. He insisted on spelling my name correctly, I found that to be such a nice touch. I know I haven't said much about the pizza. I have had it many, many times before. I have eaten in, had the buffet, had their burgers, had it delivered, eaten the gluten free version many times during my phase... It has always been EXCELLENT. This will be the first time having a birthday party there, my first time reserving the back area and my first time meeting Austin. I asked Austin if he would be working the day of my daughter's party, he said "most likely." To this I must repeat my opening line "I'm sorry Austin." I am bringing in my mini me, a 10 year old girl and all her "besties." They will all be walking down after they get pedicures down the way. I will be setting up a table for them to decorate flip flops while they wait for their pizzas to arrive. If none of this sounds fun to you, you can sit at the bar and commiserate with my husband, who is also a saint in my eyes. I will leave you with one final thought. Another reviewer commented about the front doors. They could use a little Windex; it's true. You know when my party is; have that other guy that was laughing as I tortured you wipe them down for us before we get there. Seriously, Austin I love your customer service. I hope the rest of your day (and all the days between now and my party) are amazing. You deserve it. read more

Service has gone downhill since they opened a second location. My family went in the order was ALL wrong and we did not have time to wait for things to be remade- they REFUSED to refund us. Been over a week still waiting for owner to refund. Keep getting excuses like he is ill, the mail takes a long time yada yada. This used to be a great place to go it is now dirty, the employees are incapable making a simple order, they can't refund money when food is NOT served. SUCH a mess. I'm generally not one to give negative feed back. I work in the service industry and if anything I'm overly generous with positive feedback as well as tipping. That being said we went to Jacks on a Monday night. 2 hours before closing so I figured we had ample time to come in and enjoy a Pizza. We came in and the manager and a young employee were behind the counter conversating. I made ourselves known by saying hello and found a seat at the bar. We waited 10 minutes without being acknowledged at all (even though there were only 2 other customers. At that point we decided to leave. On the way out I stopped by the counter where the 17 year old "easy going" ie pothead employee and toothless (slight exaggeration) manager were still talking and told them we were leaving because we'd waited quite sometime and were really hungry. Managers response was, "Cool. Have a good night"! What? I wanted to have a good night here, in your establishment?! They turned away and continued talking. I can't imagine EVER treating a customer that way. I'd like to have been able to rate the food but clearly that didn't happen. I'd like to come back but the service really needs to come up to par. Pizza joint or not it was so bad you couldn't even order. read more

We used to be a regular at this place and was always very satisfied, however tonight we couldn't be more disappointed. We called and ordered a large pizza and while they delivered sooner than they said they would the large pizza we paid for ended up being the size of a medium. It measured to barely 12" and to top it off for our 17 dollar order the delivery girl didn't have change for a $20 when they knew we were going to pay cash. She would have got the $3 tip but the fact it wasn't an option was disheartening. When we called to complain there was no sympathy only a comment on how quickly they got it to us. My wife and I had the chipotle burger. I had fries and she had the tots. The burger was pretty damn good, cooked med rare how I like. It was fairly spicy as advertised too. It was missing the sauted jalepenos, which I would have liked. My only real problem was with the fries and tots. I'm pretty sure they were just baked and not fried. If they were fried they were quite a bit under cooked. Overall we had a good time and we'll be back, probably for happy hour and pizza. read more

I decided to host my sons 11th birthday here and arrived at 10:30 am on a Saturday morning in December. I held a table in back of the restaurant expecting about 6 adults and 10 children. When we arrived, there was only one other patron in the restaurant at that time. I placed an order for 3 large pizzas and 10 drinks. As we sat and started to eat, the kids and parents started arriving, I had a child in the group that was not able to eat pizza at the time do to orthodontal work. So the mom had to go purchase something soft for her to eat and brought it into the restaurant. The little girl was sitting in the very back of the table and not in plain view of anyone around her. The manager on duty sent over a waitress to ask that we remove the food from the restaurant or the manager would get in trouble. We apologized saying that if she were able to eat something on the menu, we would have gladly gotten her something from there, but she would quickly be done with her food. The waitress said ok and left. We removed any packaging from the other establishment and the girl continued to finish her food. The manager then came over and said we had to ask her to continue eating outside because his owner was on his way and said if we were inside the restaurant eating other food he would get in trouble. The girl was almost in tears as we told her to finish her food that we would instead be leaving. We had to cut our party short, we got boxes and left after asking the manager to call the owner so we could remedy the situation which he refused. A parent that was with us said she has taken outside food into the Manteca location and has never been asked to leave. I have since made communication with the owner who apologized for the situation and said although we were not supposed to have the other food in the restaurant it was handled badly and said he wanted to remedy the situation to make sure we continue to go back. We have yet to hear back from him. Im guessing he really doesnt care about what really happened and was just trying to band-aid the immediate situation at hand. Sad because we enjoyed the pizza. He lost not just my patronage but the families of my sons party as well. read more

Went back to jacks during a night service. The attitude of the staff was quite different then my first trip. The service was way to laxed and care free. All of the workers seemed slouchy and unprofessional! The menu is a lil over crowded and from the meal I had the staff has yet to grasp much experice providing what is listed.... Went here for lunch special advertised for 5.99. Total ended up being close to 7 dollars . Not too much of a difference but I'd rather go to mountain mikes for that price .
