Tried several donuts here a couple times and can't like them. The staff is super friendly and it looks like a cool place, but I guess it's not my jam. Their texture is almost like they're stale? I buy them fresh and eat within an hour. We've tried cinnamon twist, creme filled, jelly filled, maple, fritter, and regular with the same result. Perhaps it's just the way they make them and I'm the weird one, that's ok. :) We go to Avenue Bakery west on State in American Fork or Fresh Market (even Walmart's donuts are better to us). read more

Been here several times now. Good not great. Out of the several I've tried, I liked the maple bar the best. Nice interior, friendly service. read more

My wife and I stopped by on a whim and ate a couple doughnuts while driving home. I had to pull over to appreciate the moment because WOW. The consistency of their doughnuts felt like the same recipe everyone else is trying to do, but Jack's finally got it right. They're light and soft, like what you would imagine a cloud to feel like. On top of that, the outside of the doughnut had the perfect amount of crispiness. It felt like they'd just been fried. One warning about Jack's Donuts: they ain't no Krispy Kreme. I'll slam down four Krispy Kreme doughnuts in a sitting if I'm not careful. With Jack's, one is all you need. More than you need. A dozen could feed a village for weeks. I'm not shy saying these are my favorite doughnuts ever, and I'll be back soon. read more

Jack's has got to be my favorite donut place. The dough they use is so fluffy and flavorful! I ordered 8 dozen for my baby shower and I was very happy with how they turned out. They did a big variety of all their different donuts and they were definitely a crowd pleaser. I had multiple people ask where we got them. My favorite are the sour cream donut and their strawberry frosted donuts. Their donut holes are also to die for! You definitely wont find a better variety of all different donuts in Utah county. read more

Phenomenal donuts. The glazed was a perfect balance of sugar to dough and was delectably soft. Not a lot else to say here, I prefer these donuts to Krispe Kreme. read more

Delicious! I love the frosting, it's not overwhelming and sweet. My son really enjoyed the sprinkled donuts because the donuts were completely covered. The place is simple with a wide variety of donuts and a few different drinks to enjoy with your donut. read more

Got 6 donuts on a Saturday morning. They were all super dry like they were day old donuts. The peanut butter roll and apple fritter was as dry as the Sahara. A gas station donut would of been better. read more

The donuts were just okay for me but I think it would have been a lot more fun for kids. I had a captain crunch, Oreo with cream cheese filling and a tiger roll. The tiger roll was the best of what I've tried. The captain crunch didn't have any filling and the cream cheese filling was too much in the Oreo for me. read more

So at 7:30 pm the doughnuts are 3 star doughnuts. Perhaps earlier in the day they are better but they should keep better than that. The cake doughnuts (vanilla, blueberry, red velvet, and chocolate) were dry. The chocolate and blueberry had very chemically flavors, but the vanilla and red velvet tasted pretty good, and I liked that they were not overtly sweet. The strawberry glaze and sugar glaze in the yeast doughnuts was also good and the yeast doughnuts were chewy, which I really like, but also slightly dry. I should give them another try earlier in the day. read more

Soooo impressed. I'll be honest I'm not really a doughnut person I really struggle with doughnuts. I pretty much refuse to get a grocery store doughnut and I'm not a fan of daylight doughnuts so there isn't much around here that isn't those except for Jacks! Jacks In by far the best doughnut place in the area. Walking in I was amazed by the variety. Such interesting choices from red velvet to cereal ones. It was hard for me to pick but I rather have all the amazing options then limited. The employee was so helpful and friendly. Giving me great suggestions on the popular and her favorite. I love cream cheese doughnuts and to see them with cereal toppings and Oreo or Reese's was sooo fun. I ended up getting a bunch of different types and all of them being amazing! My favorite was the Oreo Cream Cheese filled one though, I'm drooling thinking about it. Then I got a red velvet cake doughnut and loved it. If I'm getting doughnuts I'm coming here. There's no better place in Utah County. read more

We love this place! Great unique donuts. Nutty buddy and maple bar are our favorites.

They all seemed to be made of the same dough. Bars, glazed, cake, didn't matter. A crueller should be light and eggy, not as dense and heavy as a cake donut. The flavor was nice but it was all the same, no variety outside of the toppings. read more

Best donuts in town. Tastes freshly made and there are so many varieties of donuts available! Good price and great taste!

I don't know who Jack is, but he has the recipe down! I've never had a better donut in my life. Sweet, perfect flavor with nice staff and an inviting environment. I've never craved a donut before, until Jack's donuts. read more

technically, I'd give this donut shop a 3 1/2 but yelp wouldn't give me the option. ‍ the good: great branding/boxes and clean environment in spite of the dining room being closed to covid19. the average to eh: no traditional vanilla or chocolate cream options at all with a lot of options that nobody seemed to want (cereal topped donuts were all still in the case). and the bavarian cream and red velvet donuts we did end up choosing were just kinda average. read more

If you want to be disappointed with life then don't come here at the time listed on google because you will arrive with high hopes that will soon come crashing down harder than your social life. There is no way of knowing when this place will be open because of their lack of listing their hours. As to the taste of their donuts i cannot comment on such things as i have never had one because each time i have arrived they have been closed door shut and ready to crush my dreams. read more

I LOVE that they are open on Sunday! They go above and beyond in creative styles of donuts! It's a clean and inviting shop; there are even places to sit! Most bakeries seem like the idea is to stop by, Pick up, and go. Jacks has a space for you to hang. The staff member working was so sweet and patient considering I was super indecisive and had an over enthusiastic toddler with me. I drove some distance to check this place out and I'll be a regular. read more

Super fresh donuts with a fun twist. We loved coming to Jack's and feeling right at home. Their donuts were AMAZING and tasted like they were fresh out of the oven. We had the "Jack's Dozen" and enjoyed trying new doughnuts we've never tried before. We will for sure be back! read more

Stopped by to get donuts for the kids. We don't get donuts very often, So I knew the kids would be excited. When I got home with the donuts we all noticed the undercooked donuts. My son took one bite and spit it out because it was just undercooked stretchy dough. Maybe it was just a one time thing but if all you're selling are donuts you would expect them to know how to make them... they do have fun flavors and toppings and service was great. I guess I'll keep looking for that one great go to donut shop. read more

We go here at least once a week!!! Donuts are amazing and they are a Constitutional Compliant Business!!

It's donut day and we DoorDash'd donuts but were only delivered 9. Spoke to Anthony and he was so nice and took care of it! Great service as always! Thank you Anthony! read more

Jack's has a unique offering of donuts that are delicious. If you are not in the mood for a donut, grab the donut holes. That is my donut of choice when maple old-fashion is not available. What sets this location of Jack's apart are the owners. If you have a hard working, eligible son or daughter, I would suggest they go work at Jack's. read more

These donuts are the bomb! Every single donut we tried was amazing. That very first bite and you'll be hooked! BEST DONUTS in Utah!

Have made 3 visits now and have enjoyed each one immensely. It's become my favorite place to get donuts here in Utah.

Unlike a lot of places, Jack's seems like they are always using fresh oil to fry their donuts in. Yummy. Love their cream filled.

WOW these were so fresh! We will be back! Great donuts and great prices ! Best fresh donuts around! Run there!

I have driven all the way to your location 3 times, you're always closed. Your hours everywhere say you're open until 9pm or later. You never answer your phone so it's impossible to know if you're open. So done trying to go here. read more

We had apple fritters. They were top notch! We were stuffed or we would have tried many of the other interesting flavors. Peanut butter chocolate? I'm pretty sure that was one. Skittles! Jacks donuts is the best! I haven't found a good donut shop until I tried this one. The staff was so kind and helpful (they have a lot of options and I am super indecisive). I highly recommend this place! read more

What a wonderful place to be first thing in the morning. The selection is vast, the donuts are amazing to just look at. The taste is beyond what was expected. The true way a donut ought to taste like while feeling good after eating it. Service was handed out with an uplifting tone, which helped the experience. Well done. I will be a returning customer, for sure. read more

Considering that we went in to get donuts at 9:30 pm at night and the donuts were STILL DELICIOUS and relatively FRESH... I'm giving Jack's Donuts a solid four stars!!! Lots of varieties of donuts to choose from, and the atmosphere of the storefront is relaxing and spacious. Not what you would expect from a donut shop! But my husband and I were very impressed and will definitely go back for more! read more

This is a really cool local business. Delicious doughnuts and friendly staff. I'm always excited when we have A box of jacks on my counter.

My siblings and I went into this shop tonight and the owner was super friendly! He chatted with us for a minute and gave us extra doughnut holes. We went in close to closing time and the doughnuts were still good after the whole day! Totally recommend you stop by! read more

I love donuts and was excited to run into this place in American Fork, since there are not a lot of donut places to try around here (compared to L.A.). The service sucked and the donuts tasted like they are cheap quality and/or old. The toppings were too sweet for me and the texture and taste of the bread was not like the good old fashioned donuts I'm used to. Daylight and Cowboy donuts are still the best donuts I've tried in this area. read more
