My wife and I stopped by on a whim and ate a couple doughnuts while driving home. I had to pull over to appreciate the moment because WOW. The consistency of their doughnuts felt like the same recipe everyone else is trying to do, but Jack's finally got it right. They're light and soft, like what you would imagine a cloud to feel like. On top of that, the outside of the doughnut had the perfect amount of crispiness. It felt like they'd just been fried. One warning about Jack's Donuts: they ain't no Krispy Kreme. I'll slam down four Krispy Kreme doughnuts in a sitting if I'm not careful. With Jack's, one is all you need. More than you need. A dozen could feed a village for weeks. Jack's has got to be my favorite donut place. The dough they use is so fluffy and flavorful! I ordered 8 dozen for my baby shower and I was very happy with how they turned out. They did a big variety of all their different donuts and they were definitely a crowd pleaser. I had multiple people ask where we got them. My favorite are the sour cream donut and their strawberry frosted donuts. Their donut holes are also to die for! The donuts were just okay for me but I think it would have been a lot more fun for kids. I had a captain crunch, Oreo with cream cheese filling and a tiger roll. The tiger roll was the best of what I've tried. The captain crunch didn't have any filling and the cream cheese filling was too much in the Oreo for me. read more

So at 7:30 pm the doughnuts are 3 star doughnuts. Perhaps earlier in the day they are better but they should keep better than that. The cake doughnuts (vanilla, blueberry, red velvet, and chocolate) were dry. The chocolate and blueberry had very chemically flavors, but the vanilla and red velvet tasted pretty good, and I liked that they were not overtly sweet. The strawberry glaze and sugar glaze in the yeast doughnuts was also good and the yeast doughnuts were chewy, which I really like, but also slightly dry. Soooo impressed. I'll be honest I'm not really a doughnut person I really struggle with doughnuts. I pretty much refuse to get a grocery store doughnut and I'm not a fan of daylight doughnuts so there isn't much around here that isn't those except for Jacks! Jacks In by far the best doughnut place in the area. Walking in I was amazed by the variety. Such interesting choices from red velvet to cereal ones. It was hard for me to pick but I rather have all the amazing options then limited. The employee was so helpful and friendly. Giving me great suggestions on the popular and her favorite. I love cream cheese doughnuts and to see them with cereal toppings and Oreo or Reese's was sooo fun. I ended up getting a bunch of different types and all of them being amazing! My favorite was the Oreo Cream Cheese filled one though, I'm drooling thinking about it. Then I got a red velvet cake doughnut and loved it. If I'm getting doughnuts I'm coming here. They all seemed to be made of the same dough. Bars, glazed, cake, didn't matter. A crueller should be light and eggy, not as dense and heavy as a cake donut. The flavor was nice but it was all the same, no variety outside of the toppings. read more

technically, I'd give this donut shop a 3 1/2 but yelp wouldn't give me the option. ‍ the good: great branding/boxes and clean environment in spite of the dining room being closed to covid19. the average to eh: no traditional vanilla or chocolate cream options at all with a lot of options that nobody seemed to want (cereal topped donuts were all still in the case). and the bavarian cream and red velvet donuts we did end up choosing were just kinda average. read more

I LOVE that they are open on Sunday! They go above and beyond in creative styles of donuts! It's a clean and inviting shop; there are even places to sit! Most bakeries seem like the idea is to stop by, Pick up, and go. Jacks has a space for you to hang. The staff member working was so sweet and patient considering I was super indecisive and had an over enthusiastic toddler with me. Stopped by to get donuts for the kids. We don't get donuts very often, So I knew the kids would be excited. When I got home with the donuts we all noticed the undercooked donuts. My son took one bite and spit it out because it was just undercooked stretchy dough. Maybe it was just a one time thing but if all you're selling are donuts you would expect them to know how to make them... they do have fun flavors and toppings and service was great. I guess I'll keep looking for that one great go to donut shop. read more

I love donuts and was excited to run into this place in American Fork, since there are not a lot of donut places to try around here (compared to L.A.). The service sucked and the donuts tasted like they are cheap quality and/or old. The toppings were too sweet for me and the texture and taste of the bread was not like the good old fashioned donuts I'm used to.
