    Spicy margarita!
    Ada F.

What a fun bar! My friends hosted his birthday party here and it was so neat that they made it a private event! Loved the ambiance here with the string and dimmed lighting, massive antelope decoration in the middle of the bar, and a cool second story lounge area upstairs with video games! Plenty of tv screens to watch things. I requested for a spicy margarita and the bartender made me one off the menu. She asked if I liked mango and honestly, this was one of the best spicy margaritas I've had! She definitely understood the assignment about making it spicy because she rimmed the glass with tajin and garnished with a jalapeno slice! I think we were both shocked how well it turned out considering she didn't have a recipe and used what was available. 10/10! I loved that they had this game with dropping a ball into numbered slots. My friend gave me one to play and I antiskid won the champagne bottle #9! That was super fun!

Very chill little spot for drinks they also have plinko and darts for a little extra fun. The bartenders were nice and personable but I can't vouch for mixed cocktails because we had beers. The music was good, they have TVs and it was a younger chill crowd. The area isn't too sketch so I'd pop in again for drinks with friends.

Chill, mixology vibes, slight rustic look. Bartender was welcoming, BOGO shots from 5-7 for happy hour during the week. Didn't see any food available so that doesn't apply. All n all I enjoyed it and plan to return soon now that I'm mobile. Prices weren't outrageous either.

Jackalope is a small but mighty bar. The space is minimal so it'll get cozy, but they have a few elements that make it stand out from the rest. First, there's a crow's nest area that you should take over as soon as you get there. They have a couple of screens where you can play old-school video games including Duck Hunt. For $11, you can play Plinko-Drinko with the best prize being a bottle of champagne IMHO. I rented out the bar for my birthday, and it was a lot of fun! I don't even remember them charging me a minimum, but this was pre-pandemic. If you're hitting up a concert at The Regency, it's a great place to pre-game.

I came here last night with some friends, and the vibe was just perfect. They had some 90's throwback music on a Sunday night, and it wasn't crowded. Love the low lit atmosphere and decor! For any gamers, there's some arcades that we saw. We hungout at the high tables and our server was so sweet. The drinks were decently priced too. She surprised us with some fun cocktails! We'd definitely come back.

Immaculent vibes however they do keep it a bit warm for the crowd. Exemplary if you run cold Do not ‍ follow fire marshal health codes but it's chill

I was craving a refreshing craft cocktail and got one with the Green Emmanuelle. I liked the cardamom in the Beauty Mark as well that my partner ordered. We ordered shishito peppers and mushroom bahn mi sliders. The mushroom bahn mi sliders were amazing - the quality fillings and taste of the soft bun - I was unexpectedly hit with a bite of spice from maybe jalapeño seeds left but didn't sour my experience. The shishito peppers ended up being extremely spicy as well, those are usually just a few spicy and not the majority. The roasted lemon and salt was a wonderful combo but just too spicy to eat. However, the server very kindly removed it from our bill without us asking. We order the crostini because we were still hungry and that was an absolute hit. Delicious med-soft crostini with luscious berries and sweet honey. I didn't care my hands got sticky as it was soooo good! Great experience, I would be weary if the peppers as I'm a bit spice-intolerant but everything else was spot-on.

It takes a lot for me to consider a return visit to a cocktail bar. Most of the time, I just begrudgingly go along with my friends to a mediocre bar, but Blind Pig is a place I would enthusiastically return to again and again. I first got the namesake cocktail: Blind Pig. It was incredibly well-balanced, and the flame presentation upon arrival was an epic mini show. Later during last call, I decided to risk it all and roll the dice to order from the secret menu. I rolled a 5, which got me a wine & Japanese beer concoction with Sichuan peppercorn. Totally feel like this cocktail was made for me, as I rep the 川渝 region. The drink was strong, but that made it all the better. Can't wait to come again and explore more of the menu behind the password-protected iykyk entrance.

I'm personally over (and too old) dealing with sloppy drunks spilling drinks on you, getting pushed around in a crowd or end up in a middle of a brawl Blind Pig is that perfect spot, well at least on a weeknight: chill, low-key, and moody. D R I N K S * Hot & Sour: Tanqueray Gin w/ Iichiko shochu, aloe, rose, hot pot paste, basil, citrus, peychaud's ($18 x2) The sichuan hot pot inspired cocktail was silky smooth from the milk-washed gin, nicely balanced - sweet (but not too sweet) and sour with a subtle málà numbing spice. Stiff yet easy to drink. The manager/bartender, Leo was awesome with great hospitality. Background lounge-y music is not too loud so you can yap and catch-up with friends. Overall, Blind Pig is a great place to unwind after work or start the night off. Seeing that it was named one of the top 50 best bars in North American, we had to check it out! We came in a Thursday night in mid-April about 9:45 PM. They have security outside thar checks IDs & also manages the queue in case the bar gets too crowded. We had no issues getting in, but there were zero indoor seats available - both the bar & table seating. Thankfully, they have a really cozy & well-lit patio area. The waitress let us know that even the outdoor patio has table-side service, so we made ourselves comfortable on the outdoor bench & within seconds she had brought us waters & cocktail menus. Weather outside was really nice, so I'm glad we actually sat outside. Each cocktail is $20, which definitely is a little steep, but I think the creativity, quality, & prestige of being named a top 50 bar supports the price. Each part of the menu is organized by liquor ie whiskey, vodka, brandy, gin, etc. We tried 4 drinks total. I only took menu photos of the pages we ordered from but they have a lot more selections. We ordered the Kung Fu Pandan, Silky Street, Rice Rice Baby, & Tropical Gangsta. We had some favorites over others, but all were very well crafted! The drinks came out pretty quickly considering how busy it was. The only hiccup was our final drink took quite a while. Turns out the ticket machine malfunctioned & deleted orders put in & caused a back-up. The waitress was so apologetic & ended up comp-ing 2 drinks, which she definitely didn't have to but it speaks volumes to the high standards they hold themselves to & their customer service. Overall, highly highly recommend checking this place out for a fun night out or post-dinner treat! Glad we made the decision to stop in!

Our drinks were ready in about five minutes, and every single one was excellent. You can tell Shoji puts real intention into the drink program--the flavors were balanced, the presentation was beautiful, and everything felt elevated without being overdone. It is the kind of place where even a simple coffee or matcha feels special. I also loved that there are different areas to enjoy depending on your mood. The back patio is bright, open, and beautifully lit, making it a great spot to sit and relax. Inside, the darker, more intimate seating area has a cozy, quiet, almost hidden-gem feeling that would be perfect for a date or a slower morning coffee. The contrast between the quick-service front and the more atmospheric seating areas makes the whole place feel very well thought out. Shoji is easily one of the best coffee experiences I've had in San Francisco. I'm honestly surprised there isn't already more than one location, because this concept could be a huge hit throughout the city. Great service, beautiful design, fast execution, and truly exceptional drinks. We will absolutely be back.
