Our private event in the late afternoon.

I was here for a private event recently, a cozy space for a gathering. Ambience was welcoming, it's on the corner so lots of natural light in the daytime. Cozy intimate lighting after dark. Well-stocked bar. There's a pool table but we covered it for the food. A nice event space and I'd go there for a drink any time if I was in the area. There's a little stage with a projection screen too, that's unique

Loved visiting this bar! Such a fun and lively vibe. Their drinks were top shelf, and very good! The bartender was very attentive and friendly. I had fun exploring this bar with a friend. We also went to the second floor which had additional seating and open windows. Very pretty views and they even have a photobooth! Makes for a great souvenir/memory. I will definitely be back!

This is quickly becoming one of my fave spots to grab drinks with coworkers on a Friday. It has a cozy feel to it and a diverse crowd. The bartenders are nice without attitude and there is a pool table we usually spend an hour on. The location is great as well, right on the corner and close to food. Oh and live music later in the evenings Pros: solid drinks, cozy, pool table, diverse crowd and nice Bartenders Cons: only one pool table

What a lovely night at The Royale! The live music was fantastic, the bartenders were friendly, and the drinks were great. The vibes at this place are immaculate. It's a great spot to unwind and I'm definitely gonna come back!

Update: seeing only desserts on the wall menu now. no more foods? A pint of Guinness and three Coronas came out to $17. But, one Chimay (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/PDhkPTeEjGRgqvVyl3Wbzg?userid=09T1oyi6c-9lvyt7gQCD2w) was $7.50. They also serve food here - and not finger foods either, but pot pies and such. Definitely a bit above average pub fare. It could be a bar, a lounge or a cafe. Kind of odd, but it works. On a previous visit, the largest wall had human cardboard cutouts, each wearing a different version of "The Loin" and other neighborhood motifs. On the last visit, those were no longer there, but pieces of paintings remain. There is a pool table (75 cents per game). Went here for a monthly free comedy event - "Monday Happy Hour Comedy" (http://www.yelp.com/biz/monday-happy-hour-comedy-san-francisco).

Super low key spot with good vibes. They play dope old school rap. A good amount of a Tribe Called Quest. Drinks are pretty solid.

You can order drinks directly at the bar or find an open seat and have a server take your order. It took us about 10 minutes of walking around before we finally found a table. Although the service was a little slow at first because of how busy it was, once we were helped, the experience was excellent. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome. The food is definitely on the pricier side, but it's well worth it. Everything we ordered was delicious, and the martinis were especially impressive. If you're looking for a relaxing spot with breathtaking views of the San Francisco skyline, The View Lounge is a great choice. The combination of great cocktails, tasty food, and the incredible city views makes it a place I'd happily visit again.

Servers were frequently walking around attending to all the tables. We loved everything we ate except the tuna ( we didn't like the sauce) the tuna was great we just didn't like the sauce For drinks we had the Garden Fizz, Paloma, and Lycheetini. All wonderful For food we had : charcuterie board, prawn cocktail ( HUGE prawns and my second favorite dish), ahi tuna tataki, chicken adobo tacos and the Prosciutto flatbread ( my favorite!) For dessert we shared the Ube Crème Brûlée I wanted to try the house made chips cause they looked delicious but I was too full. Definitely a great place to come and celebrate!

It's a thoughtful menu w something for everyone. Had a Paper Plane which the bar man furiously shook to an icy froth on the top. Soooo good. Went on St Pat Saturday and was looking for a non frat crew vibe and was really pleased I remembered BH was close by.

I liked the cardamom in the Beauty Mark as well that my partner ordered. We ordered shishito peppers and mushroom bahn mi sliders. The mushroom bahn mi sliders were amazing - the quality fillings and taste of the soft bun - I was unexpectedly hit with a bite of spice from maybe jalapeño seeds left but didn't sour my experience. The shishito peppers ended up being extremely spicy as well, those are usually just a few spicy and not the majority. The roasted lemon and salt was a wonderful combo but just too spicy to eat. However, the server very kindly removed it from our bill without us asking. We order the crostini because we were still hungry and that was an absolute hit. Delicious med-soft crostini with luscious berries and sweet honey. I didn't care my hands got sticky as it was soooo good! Great experience, I would be weary if the peppers as I'm a bit spice-intolerant but everything else was spot-on.

Glad to have some things to eat if drinking. You know sometimes you don't expect too much from bar food, but Here there's Better than typical bar type of food. Really enjoyed the fries with 2 sauces (classic, crispy finger food for sharing), chicken skewers, sliders (good appetizer size! a little something more substantial in food), chicken wings (you can choose from a few sauce choices). curry puff (flaky tasty wrapping with curry inside)! "Dumpster Cat" cocktail seems to be the only one that comes in a cat mug. Of course I had to! my mug was a black cat and it had an adorable removable yellow hat. reminds me of halloween. Would be cool to have even more cat mugs for the variety of drinks. Love the cat theme paintings/art on the walls. The large Mona Lisa + cat piece is fantastic. There's one booth in the back that fits 7-8 people. Not crowded early evening on the weekend
