Lito R.

Worst customer service, I asked (Patricia) for second order, but seems that they can only sell one per car and if you want an other one you have go back to the line, which doesn't make sense to me why to go back to the line to order. Really disappointed

$8 Chicken Teriyaki Bowl. Looks like a kid's size. So small.
Dee B.

February 1, 2021 at 1:10 P.M. today I ordered through the drive through. The woman who took my payment was very rude and my order was completely wrong. I ordered the chicken teriyaki bowl with no chicken and extra veggies (which they charged EXTRA for). The bowl itself is so small that it looks like a kid's size bowl. It also doesn't have any teriyaki sauce and no extra veggies that they charged extra for. Bad service, overpriced, and doesn't taste good.

Closed drive through that should still be open for 40 more minutes

Just showed up at 919pm and they have already closed even though hours are listed until 10 pm. Pulled up to drive through and a recording was played saying they are closed scary thing is the indoors is supposed to be open until midnight and they also were closed. Idk how this place is even still in business

Delicious Jack's Spicy Chicken
Melanie L.

This Jack in the Box is damn awesome. Every time I order a burger here, it comes out looking nice... like "wow. That is a nice looking burger." Last time, I ordered Jack's Spicy Chicken. The bread was not squashed, but had form and the right amount of lettuce and condiments were put on the burger. The chicken was fried just right and so were the fries. Whoever puts together these burgers gets an A+ in my book because care always put into them.

I believe relish IN MY DRINK.

Nice, roomy, and clean. Clean restrooms. Conjoined with convenience store. Annoying door chime tho.

Our go to lunch spot once again delivered. Service, and…read moreflavor bomb offerings are a consistency that BT has achieved in my experience. Great place to watch the World Cup. I just learned today that BT2 just opened in Castro Valley which is my home base. I saw two reviews which were 5 star ones 16 days ago. I am excited to try their new location and meet the staff. Their location is not visible From the main streets so you have to know it's there or happen to pass through the shopping parking lot. If I would have known I would have been present opening day. Just a suggestion maybe put a sign up at your original location about BT2. I can't wait to try it.

Rating: 3/5 Stars I…read morereally wanted to love this place, but the experience was a bit of a roller coaster. The asada tacos were easily the highlight--solid 8/10 and definitely the "hit" of the meal. The carnitas were decent (around a 5 or 6), and while the salsa verde was good, the other salsas lacked a deep, authentic sabor. However, as a Mexican who knows my beans, the refried beans were a major disappointment. They tasted like they came straight from a can and had a strange oil flavor that just didn't sit right. Pro Tip: Ask for extra lime and cilantro. They tend to go heavy on the onions but light on the greens. Their Chile de Árbol is great, but you'll need at least 4 or 5 limes to really bring the flavors out! the customer service was a 10/10 :) thanks ladies

Been trying new taquerias in the trivalley. Came here specifically because they have a California…read moreburrito on the menu. Inside is very clean. They have a salsa bar with tortilla chips and something unique, Duritos. (Circle Wheat chips with an X in the middle). We ordered a California burrito, Al pastor taco, and horchata. The horchata was "home made" and definitely tasted different the branded horchata I'm used to. California burrito:. Has carne asada, fries, sour cream, guacamole, Monterey cheese, and pico. The burrito was hot and everything felt incorporated versus some taco shops just put cold ingredients together. Burrito was split between the wife and I and it was very filling. Melty cheese pull was a nice touch to know they didn't skimp on ingredients. My only criticism is that the fries are soggy. If they deep fry it to a super crispy texture would make this SO MUCH better. Al pastor taco: was good. They offered a handmade tortilla which was a little extra. The Al pastor wasn't carved off of a "spit" or doesn't appear to be since the cuts appear more clumpy. Otherwise flavor was there and solid. Service was prompt and they also bus your table after your done. Overall worth the stop, will come back since there's a few things on the menu I'd like to come back and try.

What a hidden gem! I've passed this place so many times, I'm glad I stopped. I initially wanted to…read moreeat at the sushi spot next door but they were closed. And you can't go wrong with Mexican food so I decided to just go next door to Don Chepe. I went around 2pm and it wasn't busy at all. The cashier was super nice. I ordered the enchilada plate and a horchata. I initially thought it was kind of pricey at first. But my goodness! Look at the size of the plate! Idk if you can even tell from the picture but it's HUGE. I had enough leftover for dinner that night. Everything was delicious. I can't wait to go back.

The quest for the best tacos in the Tri- Valley continues...... we stopped for lunch at this…read moretaqueria that my guy picked. So, I ordered my usual fish taco and shrimp taco with a Corona at the counter. There is a small chips and salsa bar next to the counter. Oddly, they provide VERY small paper bags to hold a few chips. That wasn't going to work for two hungry adults so I asked for a basket. That turned out to be an awkward ordeal. The owner/ manager ( not sure who) made kind of big deal about how "special" I am to be the only customer who gets a basket. We both thought it was awkward and rude at the same time lol. They have two small rooms to sit at a table. The tv was turned up when we were half way through the meal. It was much too loud for the small space. Another weird event. We couldn't wait to leave. Outdoor seating? There are a few small tables in the front of the restaurant, but the road noise was too loud for that option. Impressions The tacos were bland and unappetizing. I was very surprised how they lacked flavor. My husband had some kind of ala carte plate. He loves Mexican food! It was a disappointing meal for both of us. Suggestions The customer is the focus so you earn return visits. I think that was lost to the staff on this particular day. It's not a big deal to offer a bowl or basket for chips. If you have customers, especially who aren't watching tv, turning the volume up for the employees to hear is not going to make a good impression.

I wouldn't expect traditional Mexican food coming here because it's definitely more of a Cal-Mex fusion! The presentation, ingredients, ways of preparing are different and I love that :) Asada Fries ($25): I enjoyed this much more than I expected, and I thought I would bring some home...I didn't. The ranch and BBQ sauce surprised me, but the flavor profile worked! Also loved the shape of the sidewinder fries, kind of like c-shaped wedges. Crispy Plantains ($14): I enjoyed these dipped in sour cream! It came with a lot, so I would for sure save some to eat with vanilla ice cream at home :) My friend got a side of black beans ($8) with it which she said was okay; I think she was thrown off by them being drowned in water lol Our server was lovely even as the evening got busier. They even split the meal onto two separate plates for us. The food was reasonable priced, around 20-25 per dish.
