Our water is night and day better than it was before. I can drink from the tap with no mineral taste. I can wash my hands without a gallon of soap. I can rest easy knowing my home's plumbing is better protected. The price of the full install was very reasonable and Trevor made scheduling easy. From start to finish Trevor was super helpful and easy to work with. He made an initial consult visit to make sure he knew the house layout and all the materials he would need for the install, and then came out a couple of weeks later to install the unit. One thing I liked is that he is also a licensed electrician, and was able to pull wire directly for the unit and he even installed a new, unused outdoor outlet near the unit solely for our convenience and use. This shows an attention to detail and quality that I really appreciated. The install went smoothly and Trevor gave us a nearly one hour long in-person training on all the things we need to know about owning the water softener. He allowed us to record the video which gave us a ton of peace of mind. Within the same day our water was vastly improved. I shut off the power and investigated the pipes and saw a rotten and rusted nipple connection that had failed with a large hole in the rusted pipe. I called PumpCo and left a voice message with the AI attendant. I couldn't believe it, but she knew the urgency with many proper responses. It was well after hours but first thing Saturday morning, the technician called me back. As it turns out, he was out at my home about a year ago for another pipe problem. The technician said he would be at my house in an hour. I sent him some photos before he left his shop and he seemed to have all the parts that I needed in stock. He did arrive. We reviewed the problem. He discussed removing many old bad connections and replaced the pipes between the well head and pressure tank. He re-routed pipes, cleaned up the old installation that had been patched many years ago. In the end, I was back in service, good clean installation, very professional, polite, prompt and reasonably priced, especially considering a Saturday dispatch, outside of normal business hours. I was very pleased with the service, along with the last time I used this company a year ago. I would recommend this company for all of the above reasons.

But then she kept insisting that my wife had to be present during the consultation because it was "company policy." I've dealt with plenty of home service companies before and have never once heard of a requirement like that. I explained that I would be the one paying for and managing the project, but she continued to push the point that my wife needed to be there. At that point, I politely asked to cancel the appointment and ended the call. A few minutes later she called me back saying they could make an exception, but by then the whole interaction had already rubbed me the wrong way. It was a very strange and uncomfortable experience for something that should have been a simple quote. I decided not to move forward with them. Would not recommend.

Within a couple hours, I had them up to work on my well pump. They had to come twice because the well pumps they had brought (and the one that I had installed before) were too large for my setup, but I appreciate that they didn't sell me on the more expensive one. In the end, they got it done as quickly as humanly possible and got water back into my home. The only gripe I have is that they had to come back a third time and spent a lot of time (= money) trying to find a leak, which I ended up figuring out (it was an irrigation system that had fell over in the storm). It would have been nice to have the leak tested for and diagnosed the first time they came over, but really, it's my fault for not figuring it out myself. Overall five stars for service, attitude and promptness.

I ran out of water and my caretaker couldn't figure out why. I was out of town but called them on a Saturday. He asked if I wanted them to come out Monday or on Saturday. I said Monday was fine and he said they were in the area and could come out in an hour and a half, so I said ok. He never said there would be an extra charge. My ranch caretaker said they were there less than 30 minutes and flipped a breaker that was out in the field by the well head. That was all. Bill was $300. When I questioned it, he said $150 for a Saturday call and $150 per hour and said he was sorry he didn't tell me it was extra for Saturday. Total rip off! I will never use them again. By the way, they also bought Whittingdon's drilling.
