Very leaky kitchen faucet. Called office this morning around 10am, they came out around 11.30! Nice and professional service person. Thank you read more

Loved that they came quickly & fixed the problem. Great service & great tech. I would definitely use them again & recommend them.

Called last year near Thanksgiving as my washer hose literally jumped out of the wall. Minimal flooding so got that taken care of. Curtis secured it and all good. Quick response and very professional. Great price too! read more

Oh! My. They were here. The toilet leaked the worst, after they left! I said i could fix the broken drain. Sister said NO! Thousand dollars, they said they tore off the outside wall and fixed the hose bib! It was not the hose, It was the kitchen drain cracked in half read more

Amador Plumbing employees get it done! They show up when they say they're coming and know what they're doing!

Had both bathrooms back up on a Sunday. Curtis called back within minutes and even gave a couple helpful hits to try and avoid a service call. Unfortunately they didn't work but Curtis was at my house within an hour and fixed our issue. Excellent and prompt service, Curtis was very helpful and professional. Very thankful for Amador Plumbing and their emergency service. read more

Excellent service! We had tried to replace our hot water heater over the weekend but the pipes needed work. We reached out on Sunday, and first thing early Monday morning, we received a call back. Curtis and his apprentice arrived promptly. They made quick work of the refitting the connections on the pipes, were extremely professional and the price was more than reasonable. My Dad even inspected their work after and was absolutely amazed by how clean it all was. We definitely will work with them again! read more

Michael Bowling arrived on time and fixed our two leaking hose bibs at a reasonable cost. Amador Plumbing is our go-to plumber.

New homeowner here. Cutting right to the chase-She couldn't help us on the spot because our problem was way bigger than we knew. We called that day and had someone out 25min later on a weekend. Our inspector made a mistake and paid for our sink plumbing issue using another company. Still so incredibly satisfied with the timeliness, all of the advice she gave and the pricing. If we ever have any issues I'll be calling her back. read more

I am so impressed by the speedy response, communication, and quality of craftsmanship. The job I needed done was small but urgent. Jeremy was quick, professional, and overall just an absolute pleasure to have help me with my water heater today. Thank you for everything. Beautiful work. I highly recommend Amador plumbing. I will be using them in the future when I need those needs met. read more

Frank was great. He was able to get us on the schedule to have our issue looked at, and he helped us on the spot with our kitchen sink. Now all is working wonderful. read more

We came home on a Saturday after a day in Sacramento to water running out underneath our garage door. These things always seem to happen on weekends and holidays for me. Once inside, we saw the pipe above the water heater had apparently rusted through and was spraying water all over the place. After a quick application of some sealant tape which just slowed down the leak, I called Amador Plumbing. Mike, the tech, called me back within 2 minutes. He said that he was booked for the evening but could come out first thing in the morning. Mike called when he said he would the next day and was at our house 30 minutes later. He got right to work. He noted that the previous plumbers who installed the water heater "jerry rigged" the piping and used cheap materials. Mike installed new brass pipes and fittings and replaced the expansion tank which was all but shot all for a reasonable price. We had to pay a $125 "after hours" fee but felt that it was well worth it to stop a messy leak that had already ruined many stored goods in the garage. Very happy with the service and the fair pricing of the needed materials. read more

5+ stars for Michael!! My sister and I were struggling to light the pilot light on the water heater. After hours of trying we finally gave up and started to call around, knowing that we were in trouble since it was the weekend. Michael returned our call promptly and showed up within just a few hours. As it turned out, the pilot light was in fact on but we just couldn't see it from the angle we were at. Michael could have taken advantage of us and charged us big bucks but he didn't. If you're looking for an honest, responsive plumber that you can trust, Michael is your man! read more

Our water heater went out. They said that they couldn't get to us for 3 days. Then they called back and said they had some time that same day. Came out and fixed it. Wonderful, thank you Amador Plumbing. read more

The guys showed up at my house without wearing masks, and when they attempted to enter, I requested that they wear masks. One guy put on his mask, and the other stayed at the truck for the remainder of the visit. As for the service itself, I was not impressed with his assessment nor his professionalism. For example, I don't need to be told that fuel prices are the cause for an outrageously high quote. read more

I felt it necessary to post a Yelp review for folks who may be looking to hire a plumbing contractor in the near (or distant) future, that y'all should call on Ron Washburn of Amador Plumbing. Without writing a long-winded, wordy review, Ron and his crew did a praiseworthy job. Ron was upfront and honest from the get-go. No B.S. or "lip service". I appreciate his "can-do" attitude and quality of workmanship. He was there when he said he would be and completed the work when he said he would. The cost of the project was reasonable and fair. I would highly recommend Amador Plumbing and Ron! read more

This company was sent by my home warranty to look at a possible leak at my house. The guy they sent have no idea how to check for leaks and insisted that my leak is very very small, he concluded my problem wasn't worth fixing because the leak is only one gallon a day. The funny thing is a more experienced plumber diagnosed the leak and found where it was coming from and told me I was actually leaking 1 cubic feet per hour. What a difference, I'll make sure my home warranty never send this company to my house again. read more

Nicole was friendly, professional, and got the job done. I won't hesitate to call them again for any plumbing needs.

Had a shower with no water pressure and they came out in less than 48 hours. The plumber (Logan) took logical steps to diagnose the problem (which turned out to be more difficult than I imagined). He consistently took the logical, least expensive approach and eventually we had to go into the wall to fix the problem which he was able to do with minimal damage to the wall. His determination to get me fixed up as quickly and cheaply as possible was SO greatly appreciated. In the end it wound up costing me about 1/4 of what I thought it would be. Reliable, Responsive, Professional, Reasonable and an intelligent approach to resolving my problem! 5 stars! read more

I'm happy to give my first 5 star review to Amador Plumbing. I had a septic system disaster on my hands. I had a clog in my line somewhere, and sewage had backed up into my shower and bath tubs. It was all bad! I called Amador Plumbing and within two hours Mike was there at my house getting a handle on the situation. Shortly after that another two men were there digging up pipe. They installed a clean out, snaked my line, and ran a camera through out the line to make sure everything was taken care of. All of this for what I consider to be a very reasonable price. I am highly impressed with their quick and professional service. Well done guys! Thank you so much. If you have a plumbing problem, give these folks a call. You won't be disappointed. They're great! read more

We had just finished our kitchen remodel and we were having issues with a leaking garbage disposal and a leaky "temperamental" dishwasher. I called and within an hour I got a call back from Rob who advised me that Nichole would be calling me after she was done with a job she was currently on and her gave me a timeframe as to when she would call. Nichole promptly returned my call well within the timeframe given and was at our hone i. 20 minutes and got right to work diagnosing the issues. Within an hour she had everything fixed and provided us with a few options in things we should consider in the future to correct some things that were not done right under our kitchen sink by the previous owners. We will hire Amador Plumbing for these small fixes in the near future! Nichole knows her stuff and she is very pleasant to work with. Thank you Rob, the answering service staff and Nichole! You all are amazing and I am very happy to finally have no leaks and my kitchen remodel done! read more

Amador Plumbing - New kitchen with no leaks under the sink! - Plumbing Near Me - Sutter Creek, California

We arrived at our mountain cabin to find that the kitchen faucet was leaking badly and we had a flood underneath. I called Amador Plumbing and they cheerfully said they could send someone out the next day. The technician arrived promptly and set about installing the new faucet we provided. While the price was higher than I had hoped, it was worth it to have someone out right away and to deal with such a courteous and skilled team. Thank you! read more

Expect the price to be too high. Expect that you will have to argue and negotiate hard to get a fair price. Be willing to walk away and figure out how to fix it yourself. Plumbing is not brain surgery. IT is water going in a pipe sometimes with pressure regulators. My experience was one hour to walk around to look at the problem. I dug up the area that needed to be repaired and they spent 30 minutes to cut a small line and put a short extension with an outside faucet. Maybe 20 dollars in parts. I had to negotiate very hard to get a fair price and was willing to fix it myself if the price wasn't fair. Don't expect a reasonable price. expect it to be high and fight to bring it down to what is reasonable and walk away if it isn't . I understand today some people can't even figure out how to replace a wax ring under the toilet but it is not that hard folks. If a sewer line needs replacing, you wont be able to do it. IF its a water heater or small leak, it can be fixed at a reasonable price or do it yourself. That's my experience . . read more

Our very old toilet began to leak over a weekend and we were delighted that Amador Plumbing had weekend service. On Sunday, Nicole diagnosed the problem and promptly installed a new toilet. She was professional, organized and explained the repair and the cost. Her work was excellent. She called us several times to keep us updated for her arrival. We are happy customers! read more

After a load of laundry, our wash room was flooded. We tried clearing the drain ourselves without success. A friend came over to help, but was unsuccessful as well. We called Amador Plumbing and Jeremy was sent out to clear our laundry drain. Jeremy tried as hard as possible to run a snake through the drain, but ran into "meat" so we thought there was a rat or other critter stuck in the drain line. Jeremy stated that Amador Plumbing would need to return and either cut the external line or open the wall and cut the internal line in order to remove the blockage. There is no clean out for this line. Ron and his crew, Curtis and Jack, came and tried clearing the blockage with a snake without success. They cut the external line and used a camera to see what was blocking this line. They saw scales not fur. They opened the wall, then the line, and Whoa! A 4'+ dead rattlesnake was pulled from the line. This was a first for Amador Plumbing and for us. Our extreme appreciation and gratitude to Amador Plumbing for doing an exceptional job! We will definitely call Amador Plumbing for any future plumbing issues. read more

I've had very good service from Amador Plumbing and they're responsive and informative, reasonable and kind!

Started at the bottom, went downhill from there. Tried to charge me $185 for a simple drain clear (claimed I didn't have an outside "clean out" -- huh?). Doddering old guy came over, without putting down towels or anything, opened the undersink pipes -- a gallon or more of filthy sinkwater spilled all over the cabinet. "Guess I shoulda put down towels." After an hour of what sounded like sawing a woman in half, drain was clear. I paid by credit card (thank god) and he left. Girl and I get in my car to leave, and -- what's this? Up pulls the same van. Guy gets out and -- get this -- wants to know if he can write on my receipt "No warranty". Because, you see, they so so undercharged me. As soon as the Twilight Zone theme stopped playing, I declined his offer. Two months later, same drain is stopped up again. I call "Frank" (same unfriendly guy as before), and tell him my problem. Remember that warranty -- the one he was in such a hurry to take away by writing "NO WARRANTY" on my receipt? Quel suprise -- he's not going to honor it! And wait, there's more! A bonus! He hung up on me! "We don't want to work for you any more." Frank then hung up again and went back to playing Star Trek online. Epilogue: Looking up the license so I could make a complaint, turns out there is no "Narcisso F. Sanchez" listed having a valid California plumbing contractor's license. Ahem. Do a search on Amador Plumbing -- you'll find at least five different sites, all with the same phone number. Check the license -- (expired) in Bay Point, Pine Grove, Plymouth, Sacramento. Are any of these even real? Probably operates out of his mom's basement. So if spilled sinkwater from unlicensed plumbers sent by unfriendly guys with multiple websites who cross out warranties before hanging up on you for asking them to honor them sounds like good times, Amador Plumbing is for you. read more

We were helping a friend with repair issues. We found a broken pipe and leak under the kitchen sink requiring immediate attention. We really appreciated the quick response and great communication with Amador Plumbing. Gordon was able to come out the next day, called when he was on the way, fixed all the problems involved and communicated the issues back to us. He was professional, friendly, reliable and got the job done. We highly recommend Gordon and the team at Amador Plumbing. read more

This is the second time this year that I have used Amador Plumbing and both times I have been impressed. Today I called with an emergency leak coming into my basement. They moved around schedules so that they could get to me right away. They were willing to come after hours and once the plumber looked in to my problem it was clear that it was a leaking refrigerator. It was an appliance issue, not a plumbing issue. He still stayed and helped us trouble shoot and gave us advice. When it was time for him to go and we went to pay him he said, "No charge." How often does that happen these days?! I hope I don't have anymore plumbing problems but if I do I'll be calling Amador Plumbing. read more

Had an emergency backup in the toilet and into the tub. By emergency, I mean no toilet or shower and no happy wife! Tommy came out today and cleaned out the main line out rescuing my Sunday so I can have both a happy wife and happy life! Thanks Amador Plumbing!! read more

We had a slow shower stall drain nightmare. One plumbing company indicated my house built in 1964 was made wrong. They would have to go under house to fix. $$ I am sure. I have a house warranty and my 2nd opinion was Amador. Omar came out and had the drain clear in about 10 minutes. Thank you so much Amador and Omar. My husband is a stroke victim and that was the only shower he could use. Will use your company from now on through my house warranty company. read more

They were able to come the day I called at the time I requested but I was very unhappy that they charged a $90 travel fee with no disclosure. I've used Roto Rooter in the past who travels from Sacramento and charges only a $20 travel fee and the over all fee for the same services was $50 less. I really wanted to support local business but for that price I'll go with an outlying company. read more

Symptom: when I pour water to the kitchen sink, the water come out from the garage sink. Another contractor already took a first stab at this issue without success. Omar and his partner came all the way from Bay Point to my house in Newark, and arrived on time. Unlike the previous contractor who simply tried putting the cable into the pipe under the kitchen sink and garage sink, these guys took time to diagnose the issue and figured out the toilet pipe, which shares the same clean out, is blocking. I am so far very happy with their service, and I'm glad to be their first reviewer on Yelp. I'll keep monitoring the issue, and post any update if necessary. read more

I needed work done on a home in California and live out-of-state! Serg did an outstanding job of calling me with options, updates, and results. Ron in the field and Katrina at the desk are prompt, trustworthy, reliable and skilled. I called the Amador County AMADOR PLUMBING (apparently there are two one of which is in the Bay Area somewhere) on Sunday night regarding a pressure tank leak and they responded first thing Monday morning. As with everything in this old house it's "never one thing" there's always problems on top of problems. Ron and his partner did a GREAT job removing the old tank and when they found an additional unrelated leak in the wall they fixed it quick and without issue. They were polite and conscientious guys who do great work. Thanks again and I will not hesitate to call them in the future. read more

I had a need to do maintenance work on my hot water heater. They charged me $325.00. I questioned the basis for this charge. I was told that they were charging $175.00 per hour for this routine cleaning job. I don't think the guy was here more than an hour but he claims he was here for much longer and that they charged for driving time (I think he exaggerated the driving time). At any rate I called a couple of other plumbers and it seems to me the market rate is closer to $100/hour. I feel I was overcharged for a minor cleaning job. read more
