I ran out of water and my caretaker couldn't figure out why. I was out of town but called them on a Saturday. He asked if I wanted them to come out Monday or on Saturday. I said Monday was fine and he said they were in the area and could come out in an hour and a half, so I said ok. He never said there would be an extra charge. My ranch caretaker said they were there less than 30 minutes and flipped a breaker that was out in the field by the well head. That was all. Bill was $300. When I questioned it, he said $150 for a Saturday call and $150 per hour and said he was sorry he didn't tell me it was extra for Saturday. Total rip off! I will never use them again. By the way, they also bought Whittingdon's drilling.

You have to catch rainwater or find some just to flush your toilet. Until you're without it you really don't truly appreciate it! When I called Ben & Dennis at Top Hat Well Drilling my pump would not work on its own and I had to keep trying to figure it out myself, right away they said they would come test everything. I thought for sure it was a certain pressure gauge and switch, and I asked them to change all that out ....well, they worked very hard that day and changed everything. I still had an issue so they came right back the next day. I thought I'd have to go the entire weekend without water, but they tested it and found out the control box had issues and Ben had the parts they needed. Ben did a superb job spending a lot of time and explaining things. I also had him test the water to make sure there was no bacteria or worse for an extra fee at a lab. So thrilled that everything is working fine again! Water is life and boy do I appreciate my awesome well now that everything is running smooth! If you ever run out of water, low pressure, nothings working, or even just to have it checked out, possibly a deeper well than you have, make sure to call Terrier Pump and Water Quality! Within a couple hours, I had them up to work on my well pump. They had to come twice because the well pumps they had brought (and the one that I had installed before) were too large for my setup, but I appreciate that they didn't sell me on the more expensive one. In the end, they got it done as quickly as humanly possible and got water back into my home. The only gripe I have is that they had to come back a third time and spent a lot of time (= money) trying to find a leak, which I ended up figuring out (it was an irrigation system that had fell over in the storm). It would have been nice to have the leak tested for and diagnosed the first time they came over, but really, it's my fault for not figuring it out myself. Overall five stars for service, attitude and promptness.
