The company that did the inspection quoted my mother a ridiculously high amount of money, so I decided to look around. I got a few estimates and Pat Murphy plumbing and backhoe was one of them. He wasn't the cheapest, but he was way under what the first company tried to get my mother to pay. More importantly, he seemed by far the most knowledgeable. We decided to go with him and he put us on the schedule for the following week. He showed up on time, he worked very fast, and the job was completed before schedule. We found a new plumber! Friendly, extremely knowledgeable, reasonably priced, and he does good work. Can't beat that. We will definitely be calling him with any plumbing needs in the future. Thanks again, Pat!

The object…read moreof their game is to see how much they can possibly inflate the price before you question them- even then they will tell you it's too late, it's already ordered, and the job was set up - this guy completely and totally ripped me off and was happy to keep trying to scam me until I finally did some research and spoke to a contractor friend. He lied about my hot water heater being an "emergency " and lied about smelling gas, I even found out that he put a fake tag that is used by the propane company to warn you not to fill the tank, he tagged my hot water heater so I'd get a new one. He then wanted to charge me 5500$ for a hot water heater. I'm not exaggerating, this is criminal! This guy is a scam artist! Beware!

The man who helped me was very short with me (with a smile, all the while being polite). I gave him the piece that came with the dishwasher and asked for a 12' hose that would work. I also brought in the hose the homeowner used which was a 3/4" hose. He came out with a hose cut to 12' and put it on the counter. It was the wrong size. Called the manager. He made it right.

He 100% saw me and his hood was about a foot past the trunk of my car, which completely prevented me from merging (as the lane ended right where I was). He had plenty of time to slow down, and didn't even have to that much. I wouldn't hire from someone who doesn't make sure their employees are driving safely and paying attention.
