We had such a great experience with Water Heater Pros from beginning to end…read more From the very first phone call, I already felt comfortable with the company. The person I spoke with was very professional, patient, and helpful. Since we were replacing our 23-year-old gas water heater, I had a lot of questions, and they were able to give me useful information right away. Steven was also wonderful to work with. He was prompt, very knowledgeable, and sent us several options so we could really compare and decide what was best for our home and budget. I never felt pressured. On installation day, Alberto came with the team and did a great job. We also had two other team members working on upgrading our electrical panel, and everyone was professional, respectful, and efficient. What really impressed me is that they truly mean it when they say they can install your water heater as soon as the next day! Everything happened so quickly and smoothly. It's not often that you find a company where the experience is good from the first phone call all the way through the installation. We're very happy with the service and would definitely recommend Water Heater Pros to anyone needing a water heater replacement. Thank you to Steven, Alberto, and the whole team!

Long story short, I was kept up to date on the tracking information on where the part from Navien was and Steve scheduled one of his guys (Valentin, who was always polite and professional) to replace the malfunctioning front panel display and the recirculating check valve for free. It was unfortunate that good service had to come after a complaint but at least Steve and WHP made it right at the end, and that is what matters.

After getting a very high quote from a major plumbing chain, we decided to contact Water Heater…read moreMasters. We had an absolutely fantastic experience with Water Heater Masters. Alex sent our technician, Rojo, who helped install a new 40-gallon gas water heater in our indoor utility closet, and he was incredibly diligent, professional, and efficient from start to finish. Installing a tank in an inside closet can be tricky, but Rojo handled the entire job seamlessly in just 2 hours. He replaced everything with high-quality components, including: * New hot and cold water flex lines * A brand new water shut-off valve * A new gas flex line and sediment trap * Fully reworked earthquake straps (to meet California safety codes) * Properly updated T&P line and venting He also took care of the removal and disposal of our heavy 18 yr old tank, leaving the utility closet completely clean. If you want fair pricing, expert specialized service, and a technician who respects your time and home, call Water Heater Masters and ask for Rojo. Highly recommended!

We were replacing a gas water heater with a hybrid electric heat pump water heater. Generally, this…read moretype of heater costs twice as much (price and installation) as a traditional electric water heater, but costs a lot less to run (and therefore you recoup the additional cost in a few years from lower operating costs). I had a very easy experience getting an on-site quote. I received 3 quotes for this job. 2 quotes, including this one, came in around $7100. I went with a third one at around $6700 (which included an additional mixing valve) and am very happy with my decision. Overall price was not a big part of my decision, but brand of water heater was. After doing some research online, the most recommended brands are AO Smith and Rheem (GE). Both higher quotes were for Navien, which has only been making heat pump water heaters for 1 year, but I was told that it is the most reliable brand. I did not understand how this claim could be made, given how short the duration of evaluation for this product. Even the worst appliances usually work for at least a year. So I requested a quote for AO Smith or Rheem, which I did not get. I'm not sure why my brand request was not honored, but it made me question whether I should go with a company that either has communication issues or maybe some type of deal with Navien that I was not informed about. Many water heater installers are preferred installers of certain brands, which means they can get better pricing, etc. I did not want to be a guinea pig for Navien.
