They replaced a wheel bearing on my Corvette that is failing after only 6,000 miles, I inquired about the part number to avoid this part as they are not willing to warranty their work, and come to find out they replaced the bearing with a cheap $50 part yet charged $543. Again, avoid getting overcharged for cheap replacement parts, and go with a shop that will keep their promise when it comes to their warranty.

I took my Toyota to a local auto shop for its 30k service and the amount they quoted me ($600) for the service was what I paid for when the service was completed - honest business. If no other issues came up during the service then you should be charged at the quoted amount. Also, you should have a standard price for the services. Will never take my car there again!

What has prompted me to write this review today is the experience I had with Justin on the phone a couple of days ago. My husband and I recently purchased a 2022 Hyundai Sonata. While looking through the owner's manual we noticed that this car specifically recommends spark plug replacement at 40,000 miles. We just hit that and and not wanting to void our warranty we called to arrange a spark plug replacement. To note, I could have done this myself, but again I don't want to give Hyundai any reason to say the engine failed due to improper maintenance. When I called to inquire about pricing, Justin immediately told me I don't need to change them this early. He then proceeded to tell me that Hyundai just recommends this to get people to spend more money. He told me he used to work for them and it isn't the spark plugs that is the problem with their engines but rather a rod. Look, I appreciate someone trying to save me money, but I also believe that when a car is still under warranty manufacturer recommendations should be followed. I probably would not have written this review except I saw Mary K's review and have to agree that Justin seems to have some kind of bias against Hyundai. I know their GDI engines were not great, but this is a newer model and it has a turbo engine and I was just trying to do what was right for the car. I ended up making the appointment with another trusted mechanic.

I got a dumb facial response from the manager of the shop who tried the claim he told me over the phone. This is completely false. I paid the bill to get my truck back. I signed a document for a $313 diagnostic. When I came back, the bill had increased to over $1,900 (WITHOUT MY APPROVAL). As soon as I walked in to pick pick up my truck, they tried to rush to have me sign an updated diagnostic paperwork that showed the new amount. After I read through it and refused to sign the new paperwork, they told me I couldn't get my truck back unless I paid. That's not just bad business, it's COERCION. Then, the "Sales Manager" Tommy called the owner, Dennis to come out, and after hearing me out, he said he would "meet me in the middle" and release my truck to me if I paid 1/2. I told him that's not fair because I never approved any additional work on the truck, especially because after looking at the detailed notes of the technician's first $313 diagnostic, the issue was already found, but I was never told that! I am now forced to file a BAR complaint against this shop as well as see them in Civil Small Claims Court.
