    Final Alignment

    I chose this shop after specifically researching alignment providers with experience working on modified suspension setups, not just stock vehicles. My truck is a 2007 Toyota Tundra equipped with a 2" Niight leveling kit, 33×12.50 Toyo Open Country tires, and factory upper control arms, and I wanted the alignment to reflect those changes rather than default factory settings. At the initial visit, the alignment corrected toe and brought the truck within factory specification ranges. After reviewing the alignment report at home, I realized the setup reflected a baseline OEM alignment rather than one optimized for a leveled truck with oversized tires. I raised my concerns, specifically around caster not being fully optimized for straight-line stability and steering return-to-center. To the shop's credit, management immediately acknowledged the issue, made it clear that high volume is not an excuse, and offered a warranty alignment overseen by the service manager. Communication was prompt, professional, and respectful throughout. At the follow-up visit, the alignment was corrected properly. Caster was increased and balanced side-to-side, camber was set near neutral, and front toe was tightened to a conservative, near-neutral setting appropriate for a leveled truck on 33" tires. The final result is a setup-aware alignment, not just a "green-range" factory correction, and the difference is noticeable. The truck now tracks straight at highway speeds, steering return-to-center is significantly improved, and overall driving feel is exactly what I expected for this configuration. Bottom line: Mistakes can happen, but how a shop handles them matters. This shop owned the issue, corrected it properly, and followed through. I'd confidently recommend them--especially for customers with lifted or leveled vehicles--just be clear about your expectations so the alignment can be tailored to your setup.

    This is my first time to have my car smogged at My Auto Surgeon, it was an overall great experience. -First, this was my first time of really using Yelps project app which sends out several request for quotes on your project. These guys responded quickly and with the price that was standard for the industry. Even told me timeslots that were available that day. It was fast easy to understand so I booked it with them as they had great reviews on Yelp. The thing that struck me the most in the reviews was the manager's responses to customer, concerns or issues, there was compassion and an effort to make it correct. This I have not seen in a lot of the other Smog place that I usually go to so I switched. -Second, was the courteous way in which I was treated by Cameron, front office manager. This is very rare, but you can tell he cares about his job and their company reputation. I even today received a follow up text to make sure everything was OK with my car. -Third, I was very impressed with their waiting room. Typical car places don't spend a lot of time or money in their waiting area. I took some pictures so you can see small but very well laid out and decorated nicely. Also didn't take pictures of this, but the bathrooms which are out in the shop are clean and decorated nicely. Hats off to the decorating person ! Highly recommend this shop and I will be coming back here in the future!

    Hello James, unfortunately we do not service or replace wheels and tires. We do perform alignments to extend the life of tread wear on tires. We recommend America’s Tire for any wheel or tire needs!

    I paid $5,084 to AAA to repair my A/C system based on their written diagnosis and service quote. I…read morewas clearly told the system would be functioning properly after the repairs were completed. It was not. The exact same issues persisted. That is the core issue: I paid over $5,000 and the problem was not fixed. After the work was completed, I was informed by a technician that the issue could have simply been a leaking hose. If that was even a plausible root cause, it raises serious concerns about whether the extensive and costly repairs I authorized were necessary in the first place. The internal inconsistencies make it worse. One advisor pushed for replacement of four actuators and an evaporator, despite only one actuator being demonstrably malfunctioning and no confirmed issue with the evaporator. Another advisor later expressed confusion as to why the additional actuators were recommended at all. That level of contradiction does not reflect a confident or consistent diagnostic process. Adding to the discomfort, the same advisor openly discussed increasing sales revenue at this location. When that mindset is paired with aggressive part replacement recommendations, it becomes difficult to ignore the optics. I obtained a quote from Future Chevrolet totaling approximately $3,930 for comparable repairs -- significantly less than what I was charged. On average, OEM parts were approximately 50% lower than what appeared on AAA's estimate. For example, I paid $1,782 for parts through AAA, while a dealership quote reflected $974. That is not a minor variance -- that is a material pricing discrepancy. When I raised these concerns, I was offered a $350 service credit. That does not come close to addressing the issue. A credit assumes I would return. I will not. Additionally, during discussions about pricing comparisons, I felt as though my dealership quote was dismissed and treated as unreliable. I offered to provide a fully itemized quote from Future Chevrolet for clarity. That offer was rejected over the phone as "not needed," while at the same time I was told a different dealership's quote was being used as the benchmark. If dealerships use different pricing structures -- as was acknowledged -- then selectively accepting one quote while dismissing another is inconsistent. I was also asked to pay over the phone before the repair outcome was fully verified, with the explanation that the mechanic needed to be paid. Whether intentional or not, that created an uncomfortable dynamic. Paying to ensure internal payroll is covered is not the customer's responsibility. Payment should follow a repair that works. At the end of the day, proper diagnosis and effective repair are the responsibility of the repair facility -- not the customer. When a $5,084 repair fails to resolve the issue, accountability should follow. The photos attached show: * The Future Chevrolet quote I offered to itemize * The AAA Roseville Galleria quote and what I paid * The comparison quote obtained from another Chevrolet dealership Consumers deserve accurate diagnostics, transparent pricing, and leadership that takes ownership when outcomes fall short. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this location. UPDATE: Even though I was told my rental car would be reimbursed in email, the manager Jeremy Moesser was not present when I arrived on two separate occasions to finalize matters. Communication throughout this process has been inconsistent and dismissive rather than solution-oriented. Update 2: After AAA attempting to repair my AC, it now makes shedding and shuttering sound. Additionally, corporate finally agreed to reimburse my rental. Unfortunately my car is going back to a NEW AAA shop per my request for re-inspection /repair. The larger question still looms, were all these repairs necessary?
