I have had a few different experiences at My Auto Surgeon and on both occasions I left feeling respected, treated fairly, and most importantly, had the right work done. I say this specifically because with auto repair becoming difficult for the home repairman, I know that some businesses might infringe upon the complexity and first suggest unneeded work and second, overcharge. In this case, I used the Yelp app, entered my information and received a quick quote from My Auto surgeon. I also received probably 6 other quotes. I chose my auto surgeon as they had treated me very well previously. However, their quote was not the least, nor was it the highest. What I thought was the issue turned out not to be the issue and instead they quickly diagnosed the culprit and had my vehicle ready when they promised, and at a cost that was well within reason. I cannot stress how important it is to a customer to receive fair and timely care for their automobile. I was braced for a ridiculous charge and instead what I received was the proper diagnosis and repair done. Met Justin at a fund raiser when i was the successful bidder on a multiple repair services certificate he had donated to the silent auction. Told him I wouldn't actually be needing any of the services offered for quite a while, but i did need a turn signal light replaced on my 2015 mustang. He immediately endorsed the certificate to include that repair. Took my car in today to have the bulb replaced and i definitely have to "ditto" all the other 5 star reviews on here. Got right in at scheduled appointment time, and the repair was done very timely and perfectly. I was very impressed with the entire operation from start to finish, and the agent who helped me, Dysani, was great! Oh, and if you're thinking changing a turn signal bulb is no big deal,,,check you tube to see what's involved on a 2015 mustang. Definitely something i didn't want to tackle on my own. This is my first time to have my car smogged at My Auto Surgeon, it was an overall great experience. -First, this was my first time of really using Yelps project app which sends out several request for quotes on your project. These guys responded quickly and with the price that was standard for the industry. Even told me timeslots that were available that day. It was fast easy to understand so I booked it with them as they had great reviews on Yelp. The thing that struck me the most in the reviews was the manager's responses to customer, concerns or issues, there was compassion and an effort to make it correct. This I have not seen in a lot of the other Smog place that I usually go to so I switched. -Second, was the courteous way in which I was treated by Cameron, front office manager. This is very rare, but you can tell he cares about his job and their company reputation. I even today received a follow up text to make sure everything was OK with my car. -Third, I was very impressed with their waiting room. Typical car places don't spend a lot of time or money in their waiting area. I took some pictures so you can see small but very well laid out and decorated nicely. Also didn't take pictures of this, but the bathrooms which are out in the shop are clean and decorated nicely. Hats off to the decorating person ! This update is long overdue, but I just wanted to share my continued satisfaction with My Auto Surgeon! As mentioned in my earlier review, I had the brakes changed at about 125,000 miles; earlier this year, I passed the 300,000 mile mark, and both sets of brakes (front and rear are still going strong)...which to me, just seems amazing! From that point forward, I have been taking my RAV4 to My Auto Surgeon for essentially everything. The value proposition (price paid for the quality and conscientiousness of all the staff) is awesome! I've been going to this shop for more than a decade but they seem to be having a system issue specifically appointment setting recently. The last 2 appointments were very disappointing. The recent one is the !!! because I showed up at least 10 minutes early and Dyani cannot find my booking so I left. I took my car in after buying 2 new tires for a wheel alignment. After I got the car back it was worse then before. I then bought my car to Jerry's auto repair shop because a few years back they replaced my bushings so I wanted to make sure they were still good. Darrin the owner of Jerry's said I needed to replace a tie rod that was cracked! He said auto surgeon should have never given me a wheel alignment with a cracked tie rod. So I went back to auto surgeon and then did another wheel alignment no charge! When I picked up my car they told me that Jerry's missed a broken bushing! Please forgive some of the names of these things just going by memory.I took the car back to Jerry's and yes the bushing was cut! There is no way Jerry's missed this because that is the reason I took the car to him in the first place. So it seems that auto surgeon cut the bushing! Darrin at Jerry's was very upset that they would do something like that and called them out on it! Of course they denied it. So now I am waiting for consumer affairs to look into this matter. read more

I use My Auto Surgeon exclusively for my 2006 Jeep Wrangler unlimited. I take it in for an annual check over and nothing is critical, only suggested work or maintenance. I use the list to tackle each one.Jeeps leak oil. Mine was valve cover and oil pan gaskets. The leaks were not serious, but i decided to see how those repairs would be positive. Yes- the leaks were stopped. No more leak pan needed in the driveway! It's been a couple months, with drives to the Bay Area weekly. No leaks! I Went to My Auto Surgeon for an 4 wheel alignment on my 2014 Mercedes. It was recommended by American Tire's customer service team because they tried to do the alignment at first, but couldn't. My Auto surgeon took my car in and after checking it out told me the alignment has already been done. I showed them the paperwork from the other business. The mechanic looked at the paperwork from America Tire's closely and realized the mechanic from there didn't put in the right model data for my particular car. So the alignment was done correctly. I had such a great experience. The communication is stellar. Not only do they message you but you have an online portal where they upload pictures and all their findings. They weren't able to "recreate" the issue I was having but kept my car for a few days - after asking if I would be able to - to be sure. It was an engine malfunction light so I was grateful they wanted to go the extra step to make sure I didn't have potentially expensive damage done by driving it!
