    Asiago Chicken Bowties
    Shefali B.

2.5 Stars This review is based on a dinner experience on NYE. We had a party of 18 people ( thankfully we had a reservation ) As expected the service was a tad bit slow but we didn't think it would be too bad. When ordering drinks, we had a bit of difficulty because every alcoholic drink we chose they were out of, or couldn't accommodate certain fishbowl drinks for smaller glasses. Frustrated after 3 tries, a few of us gave up and decided to order classic pop, but sadly they were all very flat. Even all the beers on tap we ordered were also flat. I ordered the Asiago Chicken Bowties and they were delicious, although the portion was a bit smaller than other locations I've been to. Gluten-free options are limited here, 3 people in our party who were gluten free went with the steak ( sadly there were not many other options ) Vegetarian Options are okkkk, I would definitely suggest asking for a vegetarian substitution over some of the options. Like asking for the Asiago Bowties with broccoli instead of chicken. SIDE NOTE: If you come here on NYE around 9pm they do a kid friendly NYE countdown where the servers hand out partyblowers to all the kids ( it's cute for the first 5 minutes, but gets increasingly irritating for the rest of the night ) Overall it was a pretty good experience, especially on a super busy night like NYE, but I probably wont be back to this location .

You can beat a case of the Mondays with Jack's sauced chicken fingers and vanilla cola. Garlic pan bread used to be much better. Ours was too crispy and super salty. Ill pass on that next time.

Normally when I go to any Jack Astor's the bar area is seat your self and first come first serve. The hostess refused to let us sit in the bar even tho many seats were free! We complained to the manager and got a free appetizer. The staff here is so rude! The food was ok. Not coming back to this location.

I ordered the snack wings (5) along with some rum and coke. The service was great, our server was very quick and always attentive to our needs. Although it's a bit pricey for wings, they were pretty good. The wings are tossed right at your table. I do like my wings a little bit breaded and crispy, but they were falling apart when you bite into them. The sesame garlic wings are very tasty though. I'd recommend this place for a quick bite for lunch or hanging out with friends.

Been here a couple of times and every time, our servers somehow disappear. Came here tonight for a late meal. Food was ok. Service was absolutely terrible. Our server was Kara. She left our table for like 20 minutes. No refills. No check ins. And comes back and doesn't really seem like she wants to serve us. Continuously cutting us short and walking away. Dishes sat on the table for a good 15-20 mins without being taken away even after we got our food packed up. Won't be back to this location. If you want to sit at a dirty table with no service, this spot is definitely for you

I have come here couple of time during lunch with my coworkers and the experienced has always been high wait times on getting the food out of the kitchen. The server are friendly and quick to take order and get the payment done. The only flaw is the food takes a fair bit amount of time. People loving sports will love this location as their are TV in all direction and have multiple games on. Over all the menu is decent as its more than just a bar menu.

This is a regular spot for us. Overall we enjoy coming here. The place has a good vibe and the menu has good variety. They have recently made some changes to their menu and we are not so sure we like it yet but we will visit a few times to give them a fair chance before we decide. Service tonight was great. Jess was our sever and she's very friendly and approachable. She checked up on us just enough as she never interrupted our meal but always made sure we were ok. We had the bruschetta and a pound of medium wings. The bruschetta was ok. It had a bit too much of the garlic ailioli sauce - we prefer more of the balsamic sauce instead. The wings were good but they could have been cooked a. It longer. Overall we will be coming back again. A good mix of service, food and atmosphere that are all equally pleasant. ***Adam the busboy works his butt off here!!

It was amazing the crisp tortillas made the bowl a hit. She thought it was excellent. The server was quick and very friendly. The ambiance is a great sports bar with lots of TVs. The washrooms are individual stalls and were clean.

The vibe was definitely chill and fun with more than 30 big tv all over the place. There was even a bobsled hanging on the roof! This is definitely the place to be to watch sports games. Even their cutlery was in the shape of a hockey stick! The restaurant's layout is kinda strange. The main bar are is in the center with tv above it arrange like a jumbotron. Then on either side are raised seating areas with high tables. We were seated here and people kept on bumping into me because the chairs were so close together. Now for the food. I think that for $50, the 40oz ribeye was a steal. The cut was nice and thick and the meat was juicy, with crunchy edges. It can with some potato hash that was baked with cheese, some green beans and a couple of beet slices (these were pretty bland) and a nice big piece of garlic bread. The garlic bread was cheesy and the baguette was nicely toasted. The special also came with a bottle of their signature steak sauce (this one was mustard based with sesame, completely different than the usual bbq-based, vinegar sauce). Of course, hubby and I both had to pack about half of each of our portions. We made steak fajita with it the next night. Service was good (considering how busy they were last night), ambience was perfect, beer was cheap. Plus they have daily specials. If you're looking for a fun hang out place with friends, you've gotta go to The Canadian Brewhouse!

When I walked in? It definitely looked like a British pub! Not a bad thing, right? I was seated at the bar right away and ordered a Lionheart lager. It definitely hit the spot. As I perused the menu, I saw they had shepherds pie! Not the official one with lamb and all that - no, this was ground beef. But when a boy is hungry? Damn! You gotta go for it right? I put in the order, started drinking the beer, and waited about 15 minutes for the shepherds pie to come out. Man, that was one fine, looking shepherds pie! The mashed potatoes had been lovingly put on top and it had a nice little bit of red peppers and carrots and broccolini on the side - oh nice! I took my first bite, and I fell in love. Man, this place hit the spot! If you want a British style pub in the heart of Mississauga? Come here and you won't be disappointed. Next time I'm in the area I will come again.

Two people only need to share one dessert, the portion sizing is massive. Quite sweet overall, but if sharing it's doable. The interior has modern, wood-cabin-like decor and is quite bright and open with the amount of windows and booths. I believe if you need a crowd pleaser type of restaurant, where you know there's decent variety and a pretty interior, this place would be great.

My flight was late by two hours and I was exhausted by the time I fetched my luggage off the carousel at nearly 11 pm. I decided to stay at a hotel in Mississauga and did a late checkout of 2 pm the following day. After checking out of the hotel and feeling refreshed, I was ready for lunch. I did a search and found this Chuck's Roadhouse Bar and Grill. It's steps away from Buka Maranga Cafe, which is probably my favourite cafe in Mississauga. I recall this location being an All Star Wings joint years ago. I guess it wasn't doing great business-wise and Chuck's took over. I had no problem backing into an available spot in this plaza. I then walked over to the eatery and headed inside. It took a bit of time for someone to acknowledge that I was waiting to be seated. There were two folks doing renovations, so I could understand the wait. I got a booth. There were a few folks who seemed to be regulars. They were still there when I was done with lunch. My server was Kendra. She was young, quiet, and nice. I ordered these items: - Diet Coke - Ribs and honey garlic wings, which comes with fries and extra rib sauce The latter was $15 on Wednesdays. I was indeed here on a Wednesday. Yay! I got my Diet Coke. It was fizzy and cold. Getting another refill proved to be challenging. It took a while to flag my server down. It was the only detail that needed improvement. It didn't take a lot of time for my ribs and honey garlic wings to arrive. I was ready to enjoy everything. The ribs were delicious. I put down my cutlery and used my hands. The meat was so tender. The barbeque sauce was excellent. My honey garlic wings were delicious. The wings were meaty and had a lot of crunch to them even with the sauce on them. They were enjoyable. I only had a napkin. I had to flag another server for more napkins and wet wipes. I finally flagged my server down for the bill. I paid with a credit card. I tipped and tapped to pay. Done! I used the washroom before I made my way home. The women's washroom was decent. No issues. It was nice dropping by this Chuck's for a delicious lunch. Service has room for improvement. Otherwise, I'd return for more good eats. (292)

It's the loudest dine in place I have ever been to. I can still feel my ears ringing after visiting this particular location. Service is nice but somewhat slow. The servers are friendly though. After 9pm, they have half price appetizers. I enjoyed the 16 piece wings which were a good size and crispy with one sauce for approximately $12. The calamari tasted good, it was also crispy, but the portion was small for approximately $7. Grams head prices are the after 9pm half price appetizers special. They have different specials for different days. I read there's a drink special during Leafs games.
