I definitely would recommend this for a relaxing brunch spot!

Two pieces (per person) were good enough as an appetizer. The shrimps were perfectly cooked. We requested the lamb be cooked medium rare. It was definitely medium rare. It was juicy and did not have a gamey taste. It tastes great. The pasta was perfectly al dente. The tomato rose sauce was really good. They offered to grind parmesan cheese and pepper so we got both. I am more a fan of Mr Sub, Quiznos, and Jersey Mike's. Yesterday, my dad was at Subway to grab lunch for himself and my mom, and decided to get me some food, too. He dropped it off at my door. So, technically, he was my surprise delivery person with a surprise lunch. I had to frankly guess what he got me. I am guessing that it was steak and cheese. The steak was chopped up, so it wouldn't have been roast beef that would likely be slices. Then again, I hadn't been to Subway for over a decade, so things could have changed. I also tasted mozzarella cheese. I felt like I was doing a blind tasting. I am happy to report that I didn't get olives in my sub. My dad used to ask for olives and they are not my thing. I used to pick them out, but I got so sick of seeing so many of them that I'd simply say no to the whole thing. The sub was good. It was on multi-grain bread. Since I ate it practically immediately after he brought it to me, it was yummy and was still warm. The veggies (onions, lettuce, and tomatoes) were fresh and yummy. I wish that there were more of them to supply more of a crunch, such as green peppers and cucumbers. My dad isn't a veggie lover and it was reflected in my sandwich. I really can't complain. It was a nice, thoughtful gesture. More importantly, it was free food... haha! He also got me a chocolate chip cookie. Yesterday was National Chocolate Chip Cookie (I don't know who comes up with these days, but I'll take it) and it was as if my dad knew that I needed a cookie. I loved it. It was crispy and chewy. I was pleasantly surprised at how decent the food was. Maybe I'll need to finally drop by this store and check out their salads. I'd also get a cookie. We came on 2026-06-17 because they have a special of two "The Rudy" ($8.99) for $10, because they were celebrating their 10th anniversary. It was quite busy. We ordered the following: 1. Thin Cut Fries ($4.99). 2. The Rudy (4 for $20). We lived then so much, we ordered another: 3. The Rudy (2 for $10). Even though they were busy, it only took 15 mins to get our first order. Our first order was #188 at 19:00. At 19:25, our second order was #209, so they had 21 orders in 26 mins! This order took 18 mins. There are four tables and counter seating indoors, and three small tables outdoors. Every indoor tables has the following condiments: ketchup, vinegar, salt, and pepper. There is free WiFi. The restaurant is not wheelchair accessible. There are separate male/female washrooms downstairs, hence they are not wheelchair accessible. There is paid and free neighbourhood street parking. My order: - Angus burger on a multigrain bun - Onion rings - Regular Diet Pepsi I had a gift card loaded to my account and used it to pay. I also earned Scene+ points. I got an estimated pickup time of ten minutes. I would likely get there a bit earlier. It was easy heading east along Highway 7 to get to the restaurant. I made a right turn into the plaza, followed by a left. This eatery has a drive-thru with a fairly long approach. I liked it. This Harvey's is next to Luber, which is, you guessed it, an oil and lube station for your vehicle. So aptly named! There was parking around the building. I appreciated that there were signs indicating that these parking spots were for Harvey's customers. I backed into a spot and headed inside. I saw a huge chicken figure as I walked in. I took a photo of Penny the chicken. It's not every day that you walk into any Harvey's to see a chicken staring at you. She was tied down for security. I frankly don't think folks can steal her. She looks heavy for anyone to carry her out (sorry, Penny!) and it does not look like an easy feat to get Penny out both sets of doors. An exceptionally enthusiastic man behind the counter greeted me. I said that I was likely early picking up my order and indicated that it was under my name. Sure enough, it was ready. Yay! I grabbed the paper bag with my food and my drink from him. I thanked him and headed to the dining area to have an early dinner. Harvey's only gives you two options when you order online or through the app: - Takeout - Delivery There isn't a dine-in option. I end up doing the takeout option and sitting down with my food. It works. You simply don't get a tray and no one looks at your funny because you have bagged food. I loved my angus burger. I was rusty ordering it, though. I forgot to add lettuce and cucumbers. I oddly got relish down, so I wasn't ignoring anything green. I simply don't visit Harvey's as often as I should. Anyway, the multigrain bun was perfect. The angus beef was juicy and yummy. I loved the garlic mayo, relish, and tomato slices. It hit the spot. I do feel that the burgers are getting smaller. Maybe I need to get two burgers instead. The onion rings were excellent.
