We have resorted to using our hotspot on our phones which work 100% of the time. Camping at Thousand Trails Pio Pico preserve in So Cal. Had an issue with Jabba wifi on the North Side of the campground. My Jabba representative (Jesse) was very helpful in resolving my wifi issues. Got it resolved quickly ( less that 2hours after call & message). WiFi is a tricky beast to connect to ( trees, RVs and other things that degrade the signal). Jessie helped us in April 2021 and today (july 10 2921). He is very helpful and a good listener. His support was instrumental in resolving the issue, even when their staff is being overwhelmed with a park outage elsewhere. Thank you, Jesse! read more

We signed up for internet at our RV Park, who uses Janna. We paid our $34.99 for a monthly service and unfortunately were only able to get one device connected for one day. After that, nothing. We tried to work with IT and still weren't able to get it going. They processed by refund and canceled service on 12/30/21 and now it's 2/5/22 and my ticket has not even been worked. I've called several times and they said they're working as fast as they can. I have never heard of a company taking over a month to work a ticket to issue a refund. Bought a park model in Mesa Az last year and the park has a contract with Jabba. Worst internet service provider I have ever used and I have homes in three locations. Service kicks out multiple times a day making you have to reboot your modem. Download speeds in the single digit range when it works which is not often. Last year they told me to upgrade the modem,( I bought the best one they recommended), no improvement. This year their suggestion is to buy another modem which is rediculous. Zero to nada customer support. We strongly discourage anyone from using their service. We are in an RV Resort in Show Low, AZ. Started our service on Jul 2. Our subscription is for 10 Mbps. For the 1st week, the service was fine. Now, we have been without Jabba Internet for a week. Most times when we can connect to Jabba (Resort router to Jabba servers) and using several on-line "speed-test" applications (AT&T, Fast.com), we see throughput ranging from 0 kbps (msg displayed "can't connect to our servers", to 200-300 kbps. We initially tried calling tech support. Call is always answered by a call attendant service. The caller is directed to select a department. Even with "zero" calls in the queue, the caller is presented with indefinite "music on hold". Regardless of the department selected, when we leave a message, no calls are returned. Exception: Twice in the last two days we've been able to connect to a representative of Jabba by selecting "billing". A tech support guy answers!! We have sent multiple daily emails for the past week, providing detailed information, and screen captures of throughput, and PC Control Panel info showing that an internet connection exist. After numerous phone call attempts, a tech support guy must mistakenly have broken with company policy by answering the phone. During our "conversation, he indicated indignantly that he had responded to the emails. We've kept a record of all our email messages, and "technically" he was correct. His two email responses were "We will be in touch shortly to help resolve the issue", and "Thank you for the update". Please let us know if you need anything else. Have a wonderful weekend." These responses did not address any of the multiple problems that we were experiencing. Supposedly today (Tues Jul 14), a technician was dispatched to the RV resort. He was unable to resolve the problem, and again supposedly the tech will be returning tomorrow. We'll see! read more

I'm pretty sure this is not a real company , but an elaborate practical joke. I've been a data network engineer for the last 20 years and I can tell you there is clearly something broken in their technology. The method they use for detecting simultaneous devices is badly broken. You pay for four devices, but it appears they don't mean concurrent devices, so a little misleading there. Even switching between two devices appears to break the system. Even when the connection works, the bandwidth is horribly over subscribed. Perhaps if they spent half the effort they put towards their paranoid simultaneous device management scheme into proper bandwidth management things would work better. Save yourself the aggravation and read a book instead. read more

JABBA is ONLY choice in my 55+ community! Have been a customer since 7/2019 and have not had any serious issues until yesterday when I didn't have any service. Spoke with Joey who advised he would pass my problem to their experts as unable to correct problem and assigned ticket #814656. Never received any calls to advise status. Contacted them several times with no response. Called this morning early to be told engineering now handling and that they would call when problem resolved. This review is for the Jabba Wifi found at some campgrounds. I do not have experience with their other products. Let me start by saying that if I could give them negative stars, I would. First off, their site for signing up looks to have been built by a 5 year old with ADHD. Signing up takes way longer than it should, and you get random errors, apparently to make it more exciting. Once you've signed up, the real fun begins. In order to connect and use their Internet service that you have signed u and paid for, you need to connect to their network and log in. The problem is that connecting to the login page works about once every 20 times, leaving you with no Internet for the hour or so it takes to connect. In the case of my work aptop, it took 3 hours of constant reloading of the login page before it loaded, and then, without the boxes for entering my credentials. Another hour and I was finally able to log in. Fortunately it only takes a fraction of that time to log in on our phones...9/10ths as long. JOY! As you would expect, the time the connection lasts is long enough to do lots of stuff on the Internet, like almost load a whole web page. At this point it's a game. While this all sounds like fun, it's not as much fun as calling their "support" number, only to find out that it's their sales line with a full mailbox. There's nothing as helpful as a support number that hangs up on you 5 seconds after it answered your call, but those were an amazingly helpful 5 minutes. Overall, I would only recommend JabbaCom's Wifi to my enemies, but only the worst of them, like those that tried to kill me. In all seriousness, I have not had this many issues with Internet connectivity since the mid-90's using a 14.4k modem. Absolutely horrible service on every front. I have traveled all over the world and Jabba has the worst internet service I have ever encountered. The service goes out multiple times a day - virtually every day. They have made multiple attempts to fix things but never accomplish anything. I also had a problem with upload speeds. Files that would take three or four minutes to upload from a relatively poor hotel connection would take four to five hours with Jabba. I finally found a technician who was able to help a little. A few weeks later, my service deteriorated and I called to report the problem. The tech told me that the owner had seen what had been done and told them to get rid of the fix because they didn't offer that. Now, my service has been out for weeks but because I was out of town, I couldn't do anything about it until yesterday. I called at 9am and was told someone would get back to me to schedule someone to come out. I waited all day but got no call. I called twice to follow-up but was told they could tell me nothing else. At 7pm I called and the girl promised that the technician would be out the next day (today). I waited for him until 2pm and had not heard anything. I finally called and was told that the technician was out of town and they would try to schedule someone else to come out but could not say when that would be. This company is worth than worthless. They are a menace. The only reason I stayed with them is because the resort I am in has an exclusive with them. Because of the amount of data I use, satellite is not a reasonable alternative. Poor support closes in the evening. Right now the whole RV park is without service for 12 hours. If you call you will get a message blaming COVID for the delays. This should be telling to you. Over one year and they still don't have a system in place. Finally got a call back after 14 yours. No idea what is going on, no idea when service will be restored. If you are looking for a provider that is inept you may have found them at Jabbacom. It's now 17hours later and I received a call that someone has been dispatched to assess the park wide problem. The problem with Jabba is you have no alternative. At least once a week you will lose service for anywhere from an hour to a few days. If it rains hard? You lose service. If it's clear sky and no inclement weather? You stand a good chance of losing service. The speed of the Internet vs the price is an exceedingly poor value. I previously had Frontier FiOS at another address. I could get 5x faster service for about the same price. AND it went out less than two times a year. Try contacting Jabba? Good luck. "Because of COVID" they are behind so leave a message. Well, by now anyone using COVID as a reason for slow service is just making excuses for lousy service. Jabba TV service sucks! And when you have a problem and leave word for a callback it's 3 or 4 days if they even call back!!! It drops recorded programs regularly or just doesn't record at all and when it records and you can watch it skips. Why can't this be straightened out. We have camped at Lake Tahoe at Thousand Trails for a few years now. At first Verizon cellular reception was adequate and my LTE was sufficient. I now have1 bar up here and, in order to get any internet, I have to sign up for Jaba internet. As other reviews have said, its expensive and very patchy, goes in and out, have to sign in multiple times a day. This visit I have been on the phone with them at least 4 times in 3 days. I'm starting to think there's a cabal that the cell signal is majorly decreased so they can sell their internet. We had left in March and have been billed for April & May, after several calls I finally received a credit with the assurance that I would not be billed again. Guess what happened when I read my statement for June I finally received my credit for the past 2 Months with a new charge for the month of June I have since had to cancel my credit card so they would not bill me any more. Very friendly when calling for tech support, but then why wouldn't they be. Almost on a first name basis. Calling so often for outages, I recognize their voices and response. When it's up, it's fine, but the amount of time it's ragged or down is way too much. Canned response.... we're aware of that outage and our tech's are working to get it back up as soon as possible. They are quick to say that they see no problem on their end even after you've spent hours trying to figure out the problem just to learn it was them after all. Many Encore properties use Jabba because Jabba gives Encore a 10% kickback. I like many of the other reviews would not wish Jabba on my worst enemy. Customer service always blames your router. I'm on my 3rd in 3 years. We live in an Encore park in Arizona and get relatively decent service 9 months of the year but when the Snowbirds return in January everything goes to crap. We installed an antenna ($75)and upped our service to 10 mbps because customer service said we would eliminate our problems if we did. Our daytime speed test indicates around 4.0 and my evening speed drops to 1.86 or so. LMAO, what a joke. We never get credit for poor service but they are never late to collect. You have been warned. I know of 60 or more customers in our park who have sent emails to park management with no results. It has been 6 weeks with this problem and all Jabba says is their engineers are working on it. I'm told that a lot the other complaints have been filed and worked on for several months. read more

Jabba Communications is the worst experience I've ever had with internet service. I'm paying $59.95 per month for 24mbps which is what they say is their fastest speed available. I've had the service for 2 months now and have never gotten close to that speed. Everytime I've called, they are very nice on the phone and lead you to believe that they are going to resolve this issue but it is never resolved. Sometimes I work from home so this is a problem. The other problem is it's almost impossible to watch TV or movies due to constant buffering. Not to mention Netflix will not even load up. What's worse is I have no other option. I live in a mobile home community and it's either this or Century Link. The fastest that Century Link offers for my area which in the city is 1.5 mbps and they charge $45 per month for that. Honestly I wonder if it would be better to just use the hotspot on my phone... it is faster. I would NOT recommend this service ever. read more
