BEWARE! Do not use!! Absolutely terrible WiFi provider. We stayed at Sun Outdoors RV resort for about 6 weeks. Great resort, WiFi was horrible. Paid for the premium, and it barely worked, but we made due. Just now realized JABBA has been charging me $35 month for almost 2 years. I called their customer service (same guy runs the whole operation). He says "billing" can only refund 3 months. So.... you can see that I have not used this service in almost 2 years (answers "yes"), but you were still charging me and refusing to provide a refund of more than 3 months. Can I please have the number to billing? - No they don't speak to customers. How can Sun Outdoors allow their WiFi provider to sign guests up on a continuous subscription service for 2 years when your length of stay is restricted to well under 2 years! We just spent 7 days at Thousand Trails Yosemite Lakes RV Resort and I can't begin to tell you how bad Jabba Communications is. We could not connect the whole time we were there. The only place that had WiFi was the office and clubhouse. This is very inconvenient when you can see that the service is there, but it won't let you connect. Usually companies are more than happy to take your money for services rendered, but Jabba is not one of them. Thousand Trails should find another provider of internet services. Jabba took my credit card payment. Didn't provide the service they promised. Then when told to refund my money told me it would be upwards of six weeks before they even looked at my case. This is fraud. They know when you pay money the service won't work until you call them and give them your MAC address. This causes everyone to lose time they paid for and undue stress/grief. It's theft. Even if they activate your account, you still lose the time it took to actually reach someone at Jabba to fix this. For me that was two days. That's two days out of seven I paid for! This company has got to have the worst customer service I have ever dealt with! 7 weeks with no internet and they refused to do anything more than reboot the system. Well after 4 times a day I requested a person to come to my house. They refused until 2 days ago and then told me it would cost me $50 for them to come to my house. I have called numerous times a day for weeks on end. The person named John who is apparently the highest management position was a complete wasteoftime! He was condescending to no end. He said they ran a test and it looked good on there end. Still ZERO INTERNET IN MY HOUSE. He didn't care, as long as he was right that is all that matters. Quality of service is absolutely atrocious. Calling does no good. As it will ring once on any option you choose and then hang up. I was able to talk to tech support once and they were no help. Why pay for something that you can't use. I was able to get my Verizon hot spot to work to post this. The service in this area is really bad, Verde Vally Cottonwood Arizona, hence Jabba hot spot, that doesn't work either. Constant disconnects, re loggings, 2 devices using hotspot, but 4 devices "registered" even though I don't have 2 other devices using service. With an antenna ~100 ft away and a booster in our rig the service was unusable. I checked speeds and more often than not was seeing less than 1 Megabits per second. You're lucky to get email with that kind of speed. Bigger than that however is that once they have your credit card good luck getting them to stop billing it. I cancelled the service on Feb. 1, and I totally get that Feb billing was already in process and I had to do a CC dispute to get the charge removed - not a big deal. I just spent 30 minutes on the phone to not receive any help. All I needed to do was pay for WIFI for another week. I am trying to give my money. Most companies would have an easy way to do this online. At first, it is easy (for one week) but if you go online to renew for another week, then you get an error message saying you have to call. Then you call and wait on hold for 30 minutes to find out the person answering is taking messages and he is not sure when they will open tomorrow morning or when they will call back. If I could leave a minus 1, I would. If I could send them an invoice for the time they wasted, I would. The service industry has gone down the drain and Jabba Communications is right up there.
