I came to this restaurant for a quick lunch and I was really surprised how good their foods tasted. Food came in quick and the staff members are really sweet. I was blown away by their foods. I ordered the house pho and fresh spring rolls. They gave me a free egg roll due to a lunch special. The spring rolls were so fresh and had a good ratio of veggies, shrimp, pork, and noodles. The egg roll was really crispy and the fillings inside was amazing. The pho! I love their broth. Very clean and light with good beef flavor. Does not taste artificial! Some pho broth I had were either too oily or too savory for my taste. This broth does not feel heavy. The pho does not skimp out on noodles and meat. I was having a craving for some Asian food and didn't know this place was right around the corner from our house. Of course, I read some of my fellow Yelpers reviews and decided to order takeout. The price is pretty reasonable also. Our food was ready in 20 minutes as soon as I walked in. It's a quaint but clean little restaurant. So much, that I want to come back and eat in. Two words: hidden gem. This was probably some of the best Vietnamese food I've experienced in Fort Worth. I had the spicy beef and pork noodles soup for my main, which hit every note. The broth was delicious: flavorful and the right balance of heat. The meat was tender and I truly devoured this dish. We started with the spring rolls and seared pork potstickers which were also good. I thoroughly enjoyed the sauce for the potstickers and used it for the spring rolls as well. Everything we had was delicious and service was fast, friendly, and efficient. This is more of a sit down, casual vibe which was perfect for a rainy day. The menu is extensive, so I'm sure we'll be back to try other things. The banh mi looked especially good and is one of my favorite sandwiches, so I'm looking forward to trying this next. If you like dishes from the central Vietnamese (Hue) region, then this is your spot. They offer bun hen, banh beo, banh loc, banh nam, banh ram it, and of course bun bo hue. It is located in a shopping center in North Fort Worth that is unfortunately not the greatest location for them. It used to be a busier shopping center, but now looks semi deserted. The interior of this space, however, is beautiful with pretty, lush plants throughout the dining area. A stark comparison to the exterior. We ordered the banh khoai to share. I was so confused, because I've always known this dish as banh xeo. It even looks like it in the photo on the menu. I later found out that banh khoai is the Hue version of the southern Vietnam banh xeo. The main difference is that it doesn't have coconut milk in the batter and is typically crispier and smaller in size. It's just as delicious to me! They also offer boba drinks and other traditional Viet dishes. Great addition to the North Fort Worth area. It's a bit out of the way for me, but I look forward to coming back and trying more of their food. I hope they stay around for a while! read more

I understand this place is starting to get more popular. I placed an online order during lunch, and it took about 50 minutes to be ready. There was only one waitress, and I noticed many people were waiting a while for her to take their orders--poor thing! She was handling the floor while also working as the cashier. I feel like they could really use more staff maybe a dedicated cashier to help at the register, refill waters when it's not busy, and handle to-go orders. Really yummy pho restaurant within the area. I typically enjoy my pho in Arlington or haltom city but J's broth was really good. Not too sweet not too fatty/oily. The staff were amazing, not hovering around to the point of annoying but just enough to be attentive. Funny personalities too! My friend and I did the special theyre having right now for about 15$ you get a choice between 2 appetizers+ pho or spicy noodle soup option+ dessert. My partner and I went today for the first time. We were sat and greeted right away. We ordered the dumplings and they were very good, needed the sauce for sure but were crispy. They brought out egg rolls as well that were great. I had fried rice while he had pho. We both enjoyed our meals very much. The food all came out very quickly and was very hot. Very slow service and really their food is subpar from other restaurants I have visited in the area. Their pho is not the best either. Tastes like it's made of a paste and not from the rich bone broth that I am used to eating! Service even when the restaurant is empty is very bad! It takes forever to get the order and the food takes years to get to the table! I don't think I'll ver come back to it as I been here trying other stuff about 3 times. The food is good but the service is horrible. There's always one person upfront to serve, so it takes forever. Ordering over the phone is impossible, there's a horrible language barrier. I tried to order E7 and the guy couldn't understand that. He kept offering me something else. I got to try their Bun Bo Hue (BBH), and I actually enjoyed it! It seemed like they made their own chili sauce, which was included among the condiments. Had a wonderful food experience at J's House. One of the best authentic Vietnamese restaurants in DFW! Banh Hoi was super crispy and the green apple slices took the flavor combos up a notch. Banh nam is a must order. The little banana leaf packages were hidden with wonderful flavors accompanied with nuoc mam. To top everything off the table had their homemade chili sauce that went so well with their bunh bo hue. Came here to eat with my family as we were passing through, the young girl was all alone in the lobby working and the lobby is too small for one person. Later our foods were cold when brought to us, mind you this was 2pm passed rush hour. The girl brought the food back to the kitchen to come back with the same plate but microwaved. It's one of the better pho places we've tried in terms of size, broth, and amount of protein given in the pho. Their Thai tea with boba was also very good.
