I'm only adding this review because the 1 stars on here are throwing me off. This is me and my boyfriend's absolute favorite spot. I've been to many pho spots around here and just always end up back here! It's very much a mom and pop place. I honestly rotate the same 4 things every time the chicken dumplings, traditional spring rolls, eye round and brisket pho, and the mango green tea. My bf always gets the orange chicken and he says it's his favorite orange chicken anywhere. Always great always consistent!! The service is always the same I wouldn't say over the top but they get the job done and are super sweet and I honestly prefer not being bothered every 30 seconds. Meanwhile, every Togo order seemed to get priority over the actual dine-in guests. We started with the tofu spring rolls bland and lifeless, tofu had zero flavor. For mains we ordered: Eye round pho Combination pho Tofu vermicelli (way too many onions menu doesn't mention it!) Miso ramen (limited protein options, no spice option) Rib bone combination pho (picture shows a big, meaty rib... reality was a sad little bone with barely anything on it ). What ever happened to good customer service? I decided to give this place a second chance, given the first time I had a bad experience. Food is good, but not worth going back to if every visit makes you feel like an inconvenience. 1st time going we arrived an hour before they closed, staff did not greet upon coming in and first thing they said if it was to go. I asked if we were not allowed to dine in? We sit down and me and my partner are taking our time getting settled and reading menu as we don't know what's on it. Immediately we get asked if we're ready to order, I asked for a few minutes. Server comes back 3minutes later and says "are you ready to order now?" I said no sorry, we're still looking and we get an ugly stare and he walks away. We receive our bill before the food was even served not knowing we were still not done ordering. He takes check away and drops it off again in the middle of our meal and asks if we want to pay now. We ended up giving the card as we already felt we were being rushed to eat. We left very disappointed. Second time was actually yesterday. Upon coming in a girl at the front asks if we are here to pick up or order to go. I asked if we could dine in and she responds with , mmm yea and sits us at a table. I then proceed to tell her "I'm sorry did you want us to order to go?" And she said no you guys are ok I'll be back with menus. 30seconds later she comes back and says I'm sorry but it would need to be to go, we close at 9 and there's 30minutes left. I look around and there's 3 other occupied tables with their food?? I understand 10minutes before closing, but there were still customers inside and you are refusing to sit us because you want to clean and close up the kitchen early? I've worked 10yrs in the food industry and I've never been rejected for service if you are still open. I would understand if the kitchen was closed and the place was empty. But that wasn't the case. We ended up just leaving and took our business elsewhere. Never again going back. I'm sure the manager is not aware the employees are doing this to customers during business hours. I am under the impression that food industries are to serve until closing time. Very dissatisfied. Gave this place the benefit of the doubt and it was worse than the last. Awful experience from the start, we got there and order water and a hot tea. Tea took like 15 minutes to get! Then we ordered our food and the got our check before the meal. What if we wanted to order something else. Food was brought and was cold, we didn't complain about it because we were hungry, my sister fried rice came last with a big pile of rice with five pieces of chicken and no vegetables at all. Price is very reasonable, perhaps even lower than what I've seen from other Pho spots. I had seafood Pho and wife had shrimp only Pho. Mine was very flavorful and the added jalapenos were perfect! Only callouts...only 2 shrimp in my bowl, calamari was like chewing a tire, and fish balls were good. Never had fish balls before (name tells you exactly what you are getting -- ball of white fish, most likely cod or talapia). Broth was really good alone after I had cleared out the noodles and seafood. I'll definitely be back, probably the best Pho I've had in the area! Location is clean with lots of seating. I've been meaning to eat at this place for a while now. I heard from people I work with that it's a good place but a bit pricey. When you get to the table you can see that they are very clean. The utensils are wrapped individually, the soy sauce are in individual containers too. The service was great, the food was brought to me immediately. I ordered two appetizers, the Vietnamese egg roll and the calamari. I was actually underwhelmed with both appetizers. It wasn't bad but it wasn't great. The egg roll was crispy but it was lacking flavor, I was looking for that umami flavor that makes you go mmmm. The crispy calamari wasn't crispy and same the breading didn't have a lot of taste to it, the squid was tender though and not rubbery when it's usually over cooked. Now for the main food, I ordered their shaken beef and this one I was very happy with and highly recommend it. The flavor exploded in my mouth. I would definitely go back for the shaken beef and just try other appetizers. Yes it was pricey for 2 appetizers and an entree which totaled to 32.00 compared to other Vietnamese restaurants I've been to but I would still recommend the place. read more

This place was SO good that I went two days in a row and ordered the exact same thing! HA! This was my first time having Vietnamese food and I'm so sad that i've been missing out on it for SO long. I left feeling full and satisfied without feeling weighed down. Everything tasted extremely fresh and was presented so beautifully. All of their dishes look like artwork. I ordered the veggie rolls and the Fried Tofu Vermicelli. It was so flavorful and a great vegetarian alternative. Their peanut sauce is SO delicious and added a nice finishing touch to the veggie rolls. I look forward to going back and trying more of their menu. The staff was extremely friendly and so helpful. My husband and I went on a Saturday at noon for lunch. We sat under the TV on the left side. I thought it was strange that I could hear the TV as they had music playing over head. Went to place a to go. Menu on counter read 1$ additional for meatballs. It rang up as $1.50. When I asked about it, the lady was very polite and explained prices had increased. I understood everything's getting more expensive, so I just paid it and went on. What's irritating is that the other sign on the counter saying prices were going up was from over a year ago. What's worse- When I finally got home and opened the pho, there was ONE EIGHTH of a meat ball, the broth was a bit more than half the container, the rest of the meat was sparse, same with the noodles. If I pay more, I expect the same amount as other restaurants, especially when the price is upped without notification at checkout. As I was leaving, the next pick up person was charged for extra sides. The online platform didn't mention the up charge. They gave more of the noodles than the toppings which I'm iffy about as well. It was delicious though! The pricing is a bit higher than most vietnamese restaurants but the food and service is great as it makes up for it. I would come here as it is near work but it would not be my first choice due to it being more on the pricier side. The three color dessert is a recommended! The coconut milk is sooo good! Vy's Pho is a casual establishment serving Vietnamese fare! The ambience is casual and my party and I were greeted and sat down almost immediately when we entered. Tables, silverware, and overall environment was clean. As enjoyable the food is, it is a bit pricier for its portion. The shaken beef has an amazing umami flavor and I would order it in a heartbeat...if the portions were sized accordingly to their price. Though it is their special dishes, establishments serving Cantonese and Vietnamese cuisine in Houston serve 4-5x this serving with only 2x the price. The goi cuon and the peanut sauce to dip were standard as well as their pho, which places itself in the "above average" portion of phos' I've tried. Their pho is one of the better pho's in this area.
