Chicken Italiano

Service: friendly and helpful. We ate around 10am and they were able to make their sandwiches for breakfast. We asked for their cold sandwiches to be toasted. They said no problem, we want to make you happy! Food: we ordered the badabing (two chicken cutlets, eggplant, roasted red peppers, jalapeño cheese, lettuce and tomato with 1000k dressing. This sandwich was huge! $14 and it made two meals. Hubby had the chicken Italian. Two chicken cutlets, prosciutto, roasted red peppers. Delicious! The freshly made brownies and cookies looked divine, but we were stuffed. Cleanliness: this is an Italian deli and store. There is plenty of seating and it is very clean.

J Pace Italian with Prosciutto Sandwich

Picked up a couple sandos to take with me on my flight home. The YOLO for my husband and the Italian with prosciutto. I ate half of mine right away and it was the perfect size for a lunch before hopping on a six hour flight. Both traveled really well and were delicious when we ate them more than 7 hours later. I ordered online and they were ready earlier than the time I expected so when I arrived early, I was pleasantly surprised to not have to wait! Definitely will return when we come back to Boston.

Sammies aka sandwhiches, deli sandwich, sub, deli meat cold cut.....whatever you want to call your lunch meat sandwich. drinks and more! This place will serve you up and is a corner grocery store. Easy walk from the convention center and this place will NOT disappoint. This appears to be a local spot and serves up the good good from open to close. They have two counters, one can get cold or hot sandwiches, the menu has a variety of great combo and fav they other side you get hot entrees...pizza, shells you name it. We tried the J Pace with prosciutto on sesame bun. This thing was big enough to share but can easily be devoured by one person. There is a deli sauce on this sandwich that is fire "not meaning hot or spicy meaning good" that makes the sandwich complete. I didn't get a picture of the updated menu...the avg price is about $12.

Wow, just wow. J Pace is a must try sandwich spot in Seaport. This is hands down one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. Delicious, fresh, and definitely getting your money worth. The guy behind the deli was super friendly and was super helpful. The store also has everything you could need from snacks to beer/wine to hot food too. If you're in the area definitely stop by!

I seriously thought I had already written a review about this place after my first experience about a year ago! And although the owner can come across a little gruff, I think it's just the Bostonian in him LOL. The first time I visited J Pace & Son I ordered French toast, which came with more bacon than I could finish. The French toast was so delicious and it stayed hot on my walk back to my hotel. On my second visit, I arrived about 10 minutes after breakfast () which made me super sad, but there was a lot of food to choose from! They have pizzas, steak sandwiches, chicken tenders, and a lot of cold sandwiches. I ended up going with the 601 Congress, which seems to be well reviewed by everyone. This sandwich consisted of fried chicken cutlets, buffalo sauce, red onions, and lettuce. They also threw some sort of cheese on there, but I didn't really check. Let me tell you that this sandwich was amazing! I also read that they make the bread in-house, and you can definitely tell (it stayed soft for hours even though I ate 1/2 right when I got it and another half about six hours later). The price came up to about $13 for just a sandwich alone, and I'll definitely be back to try others.

Gunna start off by saying if you haven't been here, you're screwing up. Great service, great staff, plenty of offerings for anyone's taste, nice seating area, and everything is always fresh. I've had the pleasure of delivering to their Saugus location with my previous employer, so I am familiar with what they offer but I have never personally eaten here. Until today. I'm now working around the corner from the Seaport location, in South Boston, and I was late for work today and stopped in here for breakfast. Ordered a bacon egg and cheese on a Jalapeño cheddar bagel and it was fantastic. So good that I ate every other meal here for the day. For lunch I got the Caprese sub, again, delicious, and fresh, not much to screw up on a caprese sandwich, with salt and pepper. Epic. Stopped in before heading home and picked up some cheese ravioli with vodka sauce and a few drinks from the wide variety they offer. I love that they sell Dr. Browns sodas. This is easily going to be my go to spot, I think you should check it out. You won't be disappointed.

Seaport Sandwich

Located in the Seaport District, J Pace and Son provides customers with a deli offering huge and freshly-made grinders (known as hero sandwiches or subs for those of you outside Red Sox Nation) and a small, but well-curated grocery store offering a variety of ready-to-eat and pre-packaged food and beverages and a handful of those things you forgot to bring to your friends' or coworkers' birthday party like salty snacks and greeting cards. While the prices may be higher than your typical suburban sandwich chains - with most sandwiches ranging from $9 to $12 - the quality and the portion sizes far exceed those establishments. I opted for the Seaport sandwich ($10), comprised of two enormous filets of freshly breaded and fried haddock, tartar sauce, cole slaw, cucumber, and leafy romaine lettuce. Yum. Will definitely be back next time I am in the area. Pro Tip: On-street parking is available, but may be difficult to find, so pahk you cahr at Havahd Yahd and take the T - Silver Line to J Pace.

sandwich was goo, the service was very quick and this place has it all. The only thing I would say being from NY a Turkey sandwich for 12 bucks is a drag. But different city different price I guess.

We like this Whole foods market- it has everything from produce to breads to prepared foods…read more I especially like the prepared foods - the soups are good for lunches. I would like to see more variety in the hot foods bar - especially because we always come here on Saturday and it's the same dishes. I understand they probably have a rotating menu so each day probably has a different selection but since we only come on Saturday it's pretty much the same every Saturday. Please change out the menu. Yesterday they even had some cut up oranges for free samples and that was great!! You get to try the fruit before buying- I mean you generally can't go wrong with cuties but still I thought this was a nice touch!! Loved it! Now that they have so many more self service checkout stations it's great! The space is also more efficient now. Their service is good too - they have someone there to quickly help if necessary. I like the green bananas as I like to buy them that way so they ripen over the next few days and can be eaten while yellow before they become sad lol! Overall we like this store - would like to see more selection/ rotation of menu in the hot bar!

Many years ago, I was an owner of a potato company that started in the north end of Boston. It was…read morea beautiful product , tasted great, and was packaged very well. We took pride in the fact that we used peanut oil to cook our chips in what was known as the Hawaiian style, is this was in opposition to the oil our nearest competitor used - cotton seed oil, which is actually industrial byproduct of manufacturing cotton for clothing. We thought Whole Foods would really love our chips and I was really disappointed when we were told that you wouldn't sell our product in your stores because our peanut oil was not cold pressed. Roll forward to the present . i'm shopping for groceries in what was then the newest store, the Whole Foods on Central Street in Jamaica Plain. I was looking at the bulk chocolate that was wrapped in clear plastic wrap, and I happen to glance at the ingredients. There, clearly marked for the whole world to see, what is the fact that the chocolate bar can change genetically modified to organisms. Yikes! I put the bar back and immediately remembered what had happened "back in the day" when Whole Foods had a very strict standard about what they would and would not sell. I was shocked and disappointed. I didn't bother to say anything to anybody because frankly, nobody gives a shit. But I have it upon yelp and even though this is about the Westland Avenue market, I thought I would tell the story. It is definitely a narrative that tells the story of our country. There was a time when people really cared. They had standards, and even though Whole Foods standards prevented me making what would be a very big sale for a product I believed in, I understood. And respected the stories decision not to accept our product, even though I personally felt that it was a little over the top. And now? You're selling a product that has what some will consider could be one of the very worst aspects of the ever expanding catalog of what Michael Palin calls, "food like substances". I would like to see that product remove from all the stores everywhere. It is sorry reminder of how far we have fallen.

The flower section especially stood out: beautifully arranged, fresh, and thoughtfully put together. I'm not usually a frozen food eater, but friends have been encouraging me to give Trader Joe's frozen options a shot -- and I'm glad I finally did. I took the risk, and I don't regret it at all. Their frozen meals have a great flavor balance, and I rarely have to add much (if any) extra seasoning. That's a huge win for convenience and taste. The staff here are friendly, approachable, and even funny -- whether you catch them on the phone or in person, they bring good energy to the store. The one downside is the checkout area. Because of the layout, it's not always clear where to line up, and there isn't much space for items to be packed. One time, a few things I paid for were placed off to the side and didn't make it into my bags. So now I double-check before leaving to make sure I've got everything. As for parking: they don't validate, and it's street parking only. That said, both times I visited, I was able to grab a spot right out front -- but definitely go in prepared for the possibility that parking might be tricky. All in all, I'd absolutely come back -- great selection, strong frozen food game, and an overall pleasant shopping experience.
