I walked in 3 weeks ago looking for Gel X manicure. The place I normally go to to get my nails done…read moredoes not provide gel X and I wanted to try something new. I did quite a bit of research and came across Daniel nail studio. I got there around 5:30 and was taken care of right away. Once we figured out what I wanted, Daniel went to work. The gel manicure did not take long whatsoever and I got some light nail art. He was kind and polite and even pointed me to the weekly specials so I could take note for next time. They have gel X manicures 10% off on Fridays and Saturdays I believe. While I was there, I also wanted to get a pedicure. I always get a basic, another lady did my pedicure, but she was friend friendly and allowed me to sit quietly and enjoy the rest of my time. I feel like my time there was the quickest I've ever been and still they did a great job. I went in on a Wednesday and was the only one there at first. Six people came in after me. I'm past due to get my nails done again, but plan on going soon for another gel manicure even though walk-ins are welcome. I would probably still do an appointment just in case. The checkout process is very simple and you know what you're going to pay before you get done with your visit so there isn't much of a surprise when it comes to cost. When you first check in, you have to choose what you want and it adds a total if you add anything during your visit, they will add to that total but you get a basic of what you're gonna pay before you even start your visit. Can't wait to go in again!

Her customer service and professionalism left a lot to be desired. I felt she was dismissive and lacked the warmth and attention to detail I had experienced from other technicians there. The gel manicure itself was also disappointing. In my past experiences, my gel manicures have lasted for weeks, but this one did not hold up as expected and the overall application seemed rushed and less careful. What stood out to me was an interaction during the appointment when a nail became smudged. Another technician initially suggested redoing it properly, but the owner stepped in and insisted that only the affected area be fixed. The other technician's reaction suggested that this may not have been the salon's usual standard of service. I understand that everyone can have an off day, but this experience felt noticeably different from the level of quality and care I had previously received.

They assured me that they both were 21, but gave me the wrong birth year for a 21 yr old. My large tie on my left foot was bleeding because he cut my cuticles way to low. He sprayed something on my toe and put cotton balls on it to stop the bleeding. It has been over a week and my toe is still hurting. I am a diabetic. The owner acted like she did not understand English when I told her I was bleeding. She told me it would be an additional $20 for gel polish on my toes. I told her that was too much. I told her there should be a discount because I was injured. She offered a $5 discount. I just got regular polish. The finger nails were horrible. He put the acrylic so thin that you could see where he removed the old acrylic. Two days later the acrylic broke on 2 fingers. I returned. The owner repaired my rwi nails applying the correct thickness of the acrylic. I told her that the difference in application was so noticeable. She said it's because my nails were old and that is why the nail separated from the gel. Ummm ma'am these are my real nails, not tips. I asked if she could change the polish from cotton candy to white to cover up the imperfect s, she said sure, there will be a charge for polish change. I got up and walked out.
