I came here today for the first time in hopes of getting just a simple gel color change. I called to ask about the pricing for this service & to see if they had availability for me to come within the next few minutes. They said they had an appointment later but I could come now if I wanted. I came and my nail salon experience was ok at first, but then the woman began filing off the gel off my nails too quickly. She occasionally filed my skin a few times ..ouch! She also didn't get off all of the old polish before beginning to paint my nails with the new color. Once she began painting them, she rushed and dropped the nail polish brush on my fingers & didn't even take a moment to wipe off her mistake. When she filed my nails. She also didn't take the time to make sure the filing was even. Some of my nails have bits of hardened nail polish under them & others didn't. Lastly when it was time to get up and pay, I (intentionally) stood up and began trying to scratch the nail polish off my finger as the woman headed to the register. She saw me standing there & came back and tried to wipe it off only to say "it'll come off later." Should you decide to come here, maybe make an appointment and make sure they take their time ...otherwise you'd be in for a bitter disappointment. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I use to go here and I forgot why I stopped. I went 4/30/24 after work. They charged me $190 for sloppy work. I asked for a break down $25 for gel polish, $25 for design, $55for gel nails & $15 for long nails. I got a pedicure #3 $50 & $25 for gel polish. I will never go here again. My daughter and I went. She got dip manicure and I had gel. The tech did not do her cuticles at all. The dip chipped in several places the next day! I asked to have my nails trimmed. The male tech cut them to the fingertips. My fingers hurt they are so short. Who would ever go for a manicure to have their nails chopped completely off? read more

I should have read the reviews before coming here. It is close to home so I just walked in without an appointment a week ago today. Kim did my manicure and Vinnie did my pedicure. My manicure was rushed and I felt like I was an inconvenience. Filing off my previous polish as a prep, Kim filed my cuticles on several fingers. Ouch! 2 of them bled. I get gel manicures and expect them to last at least 2 weeks. The ends of my nails are already showing signs that I need them to be redone. My pedicure was somewhat better and Vinnie took his time. However, he also filed my cuticles and a couple of them were left raw and bleeding. Skip this salon and spend your time and money we elsewhere. read more

Everyone is extremely kind and my nails speak for themselves. They have a wide selection of beautiful colors and I've always received the exact shape and length I've requested for my acrylics. Severely disappointed. Rushed to my chair, told to pick my color while she was working on my nails, skin was cut with tools & paint job has seen better days. Dust from filing, painted in with nail polish. I was a total inconvenience. She conversed with her co workers, but not the paying customer in front of her. Literally only spoke to me when I asked how her day was. She laughed and asked if I wanted a drink. I was uncomfortable. I stopped by to get my nails done here because I had a doctors appointment next door shortly after. I went here for the location convenience. The place is clean and well-kept and the staff is friendly when you first walk in. I got a full set of acrylics and wanted them fairly short. First of all the woman doing my nails literally did not say a word to me the entire time. Second, she cut my nails super short without asking me if it was a good length. By the time they were cut it was totally too late. The acrylic on top is uneven and not smooth/leveled. She rushed through my nails and also cut my finger so I've got to watch out for infection now. I told a friend what happened and they cut her finger open as well when she got hers done. I really hate giving negative reviews because I'm genuinely a nice person but I am sadly leaving two stars. I am very disappointed. I have worked in the beauty industry for nearly 10 years and I was appalled at the lack of customer service and intimate experience from this salon. My nail technician 'Kim' focused much of energy towards micromanaging the associate around her, and went VERY quickly through the nail prepping phase. Due to her lack of attention, she knicked me twice making me bleed both times. Never ONCE did she check to make sure that I was satisfied with the length/shape/style. I asked for a rounded off almond shape and left with a flat rounded circle (no narrowing towards the tip) and very sore cuticles. I am very sad, but will happily NEVER return to LCN Nail Spa again. If you want quality nails, from a tech that cares, do not go here. read more

I started going to LCN Nail Spa when I first moved to Raleigh as it was conveniently located 3 minutes from my home. At first my visits were great but as I became a regular here the work became sloppy. Once while I was getting my nails done a sweet young lady was sitting beside me also getting a manicure and gave the owners her card and info stating she was interested in employment because she had recently became a nail tech.
