The MRS decided a supplement footwear would be a good idea. I thought, "Oh my, not an Outlet Strip?" This would shoot the whole day down. This Red Barron wasn't going to let this happen. As we walked the charming Town of Chatham, I schemed, no matter what the price, she's getting a pair of "sneaks"! We entered the commercial area of Town & no more than 5-6 shops in was Mahi Gold! "How about this place?" I said. Her brows lifted with glee and immediately headed to the door. She said, "Aren't you coming in?" "No, I trust your decision and I'd like to take in the sights from this bench." SCORE. It looked like a really nice clothing shop and after 15 or so minutes I heard exactly that. She found a white pair of Deck Sneakers (Spring Fashion) on sale! Price was like I said of NO concern. We had our walking shoes and it only took one stop!!! Mahi Gold I am forever indebted. Off to our hike. Men, take my advise, if you want to enjoy your stay on the Cape.

I used to love ordering from this store until I had to return something because it was damaged when…read moreit arrived. They initially refused to give a refund, offering a half-credit, and claiming they had sent photos of the item to PayPal in response to a dispute I didn't even initiate. I tried to contact them by phone, chat and email but I got no response, and this was long before the store closed for the day. Today I finally got a reply and was granted a refund, but the agent "Lexi" was extremely rude about it, saying "only so this matter can come to an end." Two hours later she made another rude response to a complaint I had made about the bad customer service at this store. Apparently she is the store's customer service department. She only came across as a bully, and if you have bought something there and are considering returning it for any reason you're better off just keeping it. Thanks to their horrible customer service, I won't be shopping at this store ever again.

The customer service provided by Cindy and Deidre really is unparalleled at other clothing stores. Both Cindy and Deidre remembered me (and my service dog, Bailey). These women are extraordinary in every way. Since I last saw them, I have been using a rolling walker due to frequent falls. I have watched each of them interact with other customers on multiple occasions. I encourage women to give Talbots a visit at the Cape Cod Mall in Hyannis. They really are amazing and want to help women look their best. They also understand that we, as women, do sometimes have "new clothing insecurities." And the dressing rooms are designed with all types of bodies in mind. I will remain in touch with these associates when I am interested in ordering additional items (even though I live several states away. Customer Service is very consistent here.

Not only that, but they were so nice and accommodating and in no way were pushy when we were trying on dozens and dozens of different pieces. The entire experience was incredibly safe + masks were worn the whole time - in these uncertain times, it was so reassuring to be surrounded by kind and helpful people who just wanted us to feel and look our best. Will definitely be ordering online in the future!! Thank you again!!

The second time, I asked if she had gotten the pants, and she said " I forgot- let me take your contact data" which I gave and she told some more stories - less charming at this point. After another 2 weeks I went back and she said she forgot again and she took my info AGAIN. This time the stories were VERY tiresome. Guess what? I never got the pants. Again the clothes are great - I have 2 pair of linen cargo shorts I treasure - unfortunately they were from 2019 and totally revamped their men's shorts line. Shop Fat Face, but I'd avoid the Edgartown a store if you need customer service of any kind.....

It's as though you are paying a penalty for shopping there and using a credit card. Perhaps this 4% charge ( which goes to the processing company) encourages patrons to use their cash instead of charging. There were many items over $200.00 and if a shopper purchased several items( which would be easy to do,)4% additional would be added to the final bill. It's not like there is a flat fee that is charged, it's 4% of the total amount . This was quite off putting bc this is the first time that this extra payment has been added to the final bill. Just a bit tacky policy.

Mary was welcoming and friendly and asked me a few questions to hone right in on just what I needed. I tried on 3 different pairs of shoes with different attributes. She watched me walk in my old pair of shoes as well as each of the new pairs and then I took each pair onto the treadmill for a few minutes. When I said that I never run on a treadmill she said I could jog outside if it made me more comfortable, but there was no need. After trying 3 pairs of shoes, which we're all very comfortable, I actually settled on the very first pair she handed me. They fit perfectly and are extremely comfortable and I grabbed a few pairs of socks as well. I had a coupon which my girlfriend received at a previous 5K which they accepted no problem. I will definitely be back for another pair of shoes or anything else I need to add to my running gear. Highly recommended!
