I went on line and was very impressed not only by the wonderful, tasteful offerings, but also seeing that Cathy models all of the clothing herself, instead of a model half her age! How nice is that? It's so refreshing to see the clothing modeled by a woman who is about my age! I ordered 2 maxi dresses with ruffled collars, Aqua Lane and the Black and Beige. I am full-figured and was apprehensive to order them thinking they may be too clingy, but I took the chance and they are just perfect! I ordered size 1X. I wore one of the dresses to a family event and received so many compliments! The ruffle collar is pretty and feminine, but most of all so comfortable, especially with the side slit. For me wearing this dress with a pair of Spanx (my favorite is Talbot's....they are very comfy and slip on easily), made me feel shapely and confident. I find her prices to be extremely reasonable for the beautiful quality. I look forward to continuing to shop with Cathy and also making my way to her store. On a Friday afternoon, the cafe patrons took up almost the entire parking lot. We parked two doors down at the post office and walked back (there are no sidewalks on the side of the road). This shop is well laid out by category - women's, men's, home goods, shoes, accessories, etc. Everything was clearly tagged and almost everything seemed to be under $10. The store and the items were clean and in good condition, but the clothing styles were pretty outdated and mostly mall brands. This would be a great place if you're in town or nearby for a vacation and realize you forgot something like water shoes or wanted to quickly get a sweatshirt for a chilly night.

Plus there was more containers of cotton candy than any kid should ever see on a shelf! Made my teeth hurt thinking abut all that spun colored sugar!! Then there's what everyone comes for.... the clothing deals There's the sweatshirt and T-shirt racks that go on and on and on and on.... Room after room and on... It's shocking, and impressive and extremely exhausting! I went with friends that kept me there for an hour!! But the discounts were 50-70% off so load up!! And a staff member was helping them get the perfect clothing in several colors! She was cheery and must walk 10 miles a day in this emporium! It's January on cape and it's dead of winter, but not dead here! I watched dozens and dozens of people with their arms, full of sweatshirts and T-shirts, staggering towards the counters to pay on their way back out to a full parking lot! They do have small signs in their store that state 'returns will gladly be accepted within 7 days - for a store credit only'! that's a lousy catch! Oh and the credit is only good at the Mashpee location. When I burn through this credit I will never shop here again. My advice to shoppers - really think about any purchase or just pass it buy. Making the customer happy is not this store's focus!
