Like all thrift stores, it can be hit-or-miss whether you find anything. This store is attached to and shares a parking lot with a cafe. On a Friday afternoon, the cafe patrons took up almost the entire parking lot. We parked two doors down at the post office and walked back (there are no sidewalks on the side of the road). This shop is well laid out by category - women's, men's, home goods, shoes, accessories, etc. Everything was clearly tagged and almost everything seemed to be under $10. The store and the items were clean and in good condition, but the clothing styles were pretty outdated and mostly mall brands. This would be a great place if you're in town or nearby for a vacation and realize you forgot something like water shoes or wanted to quickly get a sweatshirt for a chilly night. read more

BEST thrift store ever! Incredible prices all for such a great cause. Every single day I stop at Cafe Riverview for a coffee which inevitably leads to me dropping in the store. I have stumbled upon so many great finds. These finds include designer clothing (Ralph Lauren, Fendi, Tahari, Kate Spade, Calvin Klein - just to name a few,) brand new high-end kitchen products (Calphalon, Kitchen Aid, Cuisinart,) chef cookbooks, best-selling novels, etc. If you're an avid thrifter or are just looking for a bargain, look no further. read more

I love what Riverview is doing for the Sandwich community- keep up the great work!! This super cute thrift shop offers one of a kind pieces and nic-naks for the house as well as a good array of basic clothing items. I am a Big Fan of the Second View Thrift Store. Its small but the inventory turns over pretty quickly and it is reasonably priced. Students from the River View School for people with learning disabilities work there and the staff is wonderful. Great place to donate items too! read more

I was never a thrift store person before I became familiar with second view. Great clothes, great prices, great turnover on inventory. The store is set up more like a little boutique and offers great deals on a lot of high end items. They also have special sales, "wacky Wednesdays", and "fabulous Fridays" when they offer additional discounts. They sell clothes, books, household items, linen, small furniture, etc., and also train students to work in retail. Definitely worth a visit. read more
