I went on line and was very impressed not only by the wonderful, tasteful offerings, but also seeing that Cathy models all of the clothing herself, instead of a model half her age! How nice is that? It's so refreshing to see the clothing modeled by a woman who is about my age! I ordered 2 maxi dresses with ruffled collars, Aqua Lane and the Black and Beige. I am full-figured and was apprehensive to order them thinking they may be too clingy, but I took the chance and they are just perfect! I ordered size 1X. I wore one of the dresses to a family event and received so many compliments! The ruffle collar is pretty and feminine, but most of all so comfortable, especially with the side slit. For me wearing this dress with a pair of Spanx (my favorite is Talbot's....they are very comfy and slip on easily), made me feel shapely and confident. I find her prices to be extremely reasonable for the beautiful quality. I look forward to continuing to shop with Cathy and also making my way to her store. I had a super positive experience with Ziggy's in their role of towing away my "well-loved but…read moreinsurance claimed total loss" VW a few weeks ago. Mark called in advance to give me a generous lead time so i knew when he would be arriving for the tow, which I definitely needed and thus greatly appreciated. He was punctual, friendly, professional and kind. He thoughtfully and with great care set up my car to tow it away - allowing me to take pictures at my bittersweet goodbye (this VW was my freedom wings out of divorce, was part of many fond memories established in California and my recent road-trip across America back to east coast with my little sister ). Off it went in Mark's capable hands! While i thought that was the end, I realized as I went to complete the paperwork for the transfer of my title that I had flaked to record its final odometer reading. In a panic and desperate last ditch effort, I found the number from what i believed had been the incoming call from Ziggy's-- I called and left an embarrassing plea requesting Mark's help, should he still have my VW on hand. Mark called right back to say he was on another tow but would be back in the lot shortly and would shoot me a photo of my dash with the info. I was so humbled and grateful for his kind willingness. I was stressed-trying to get the title in the hands of Fedex before 5pm that day. Mark texted the photo with my final mileage within the short time he guesstimated. I was overjoyed - SO relieved- and so full of gratitude! While this may seem like no big thang to some, for me it was SO crucial that my title be error free and complete - so this whole exhausting, unexpected 'old car to new used car' shebang could be wrapped up seamlessly. I hope this expresses my deepest gratitude for Mark's openness to go above and beyond- and with such timely responsiveness and kindness. While he may not be a bio family member at Ziggy's - it is my experience that he performs his role with as much professionalism, kindness and dedication as if he was. High fives to Mark!! Thank you, Ziggy's for sending the perfect man for the job that day!!

A lovely gal suggested a VT balloon to me and I held one. I was planning on being there two days after VT day, but it ended up 4 days late. Upon arrival to the store, the folks there could not do enough for me. They located a sealed box from the back, opened it and my balloon was labeled for a hold for me. The gal opened it, inflated it in front of me, then decorated the hand held ribbon, with 4 or five seperate ribbons all coordinated to the balloon colors. She had excellent customer service skills, and had the artist eye as well. We now have our traditional VT balloon. I always will now return to this great store. The selection of balloons and party needs is mind blowing in so many choices. They have designer balloons in chrome and metallic balloons in the shape of ufo's. What a great store, I cannot say enough great things about this great shop, and the manager helped as well to insure my satisfaction. A+++ and highly recommended.

She's the addict; I'm along for the ride, and more often than not, the entertainment. This trip was forced upon my compliments of mother nature, who decided to drown out our last day on the cape for vacation. Cabin fever forced 9 of us to go to goodwill, an hour away. So here's the verdict. My rubric for grading is the yelp norm, notarized and copyrighted, in order of importance. Smell: C. I know aunt Ethel's been dead for ten years, but please, someone, wash her bras before dropping them off. That disco suit that's been in the cedar chest since 1977? Yup, it's here, and stinking up the store. This store suffers from a common malady, known as mothballitus. Common to goodwill stores with poor ventilation and musky clientele. Fabreeze, anyone? Muzak: B. pop radio station. Nothing exciting. A few tunes to hum, albeit off key due to pinching the nose. Lighting: C. Poor lightng in goodwill is unacceptable. Stains must be seen, reconciled, and considered. If I'm going to walk a mile in someone else's bodily fluid stains, I want to know about it. No fair for me to get malplaque and not know about it. Bring your own black light and/or LED headlamp. Cleanliness: B+. pretty good. I wouldn't volunteer to eat dinner off the floor, but nothing out of line. Organization of clothing: C+. The organization of men's pants is maddening...put all pants of like color together, and then expect men...who hate shopping...to sift through 79 pairs of tan khakis, looking for the magical 34/30 that isn't stained, ripped, or from 1986. Maddening exercise of needle in a haystack. Few goodwills have caught on to the logical method: sort by waist size, regardless of color. Give me the size that fits, I'll decide on the color. State college, pa...case in point. Bravo. Quality of clothes: A-. Pretty darn good. Lots of quality brands...should be, considering the cost of living on the cape. Mr. Bean, tommy h., Ralph, et. Al were present. Not bad. Not much ghetto brands, if that's your thing. Employees: A-. Pretty good. No noticeable issues. Other notes: no toys...good location... This store has the goods, but needs the store to show them off.
