What an amazing find!…read more First thing to know is that they have two stores down the block from each other: one is vintage clothing for men and women. The other is a wondrous collection of vintage bridal wear. I was impressed with both stores. The prices are fair and even the music they play in the store is cool and fun! But the vintage wedding store was the coolest in my opinion. They have a whole wall of vintage wedding dresses that are arranged chronologically by decade. They have every style imaginable: prairie, Victorian, baby doll, preppy, fairytale, boho, lace, 80s, you name it! They also have vintage veils and shawls and jewelry. I was particularly taken by a vintage white turban that had a long veil attached to it, but i don't think i'm cool enough to pull it off at my wedding LOL. Very special stores. The people who run them are super nice too.

Every time I go home to see my parents, I try to stop at Nauset Sports before I leave town. Why?…read moreBecause it's the most fun place to shop, ever. Yeah, they sell and rent surfboards and gear and all of that which is fantastic considering the beaches just up the road -Marconi, Nauset, Coast Guard -you get my drift. But what I really love are the CLOTHES. Perfect for beaching, surfing, or chilling, they have everything you need. A bajillion brands of bathing suits (L*Space, Roxy, Quicksliver, O'Neill to name a few), flip flops (Rainbow, Reef, Havaiana, Tava), sunnies (Electrics, Arnette, Oakley), surf shorts and hats that all manage to be stylish and current. Love it. Everything is geared toward surfers or beach lifestyle peeps, so don't expect anything fancy or refined - it's all about casual ease. The staff is also friendly and very knowledgeable about surfing, which is a plus. They've also got boogie boards and other water sports equipment, so you can walk out fully geared and ready for an active day on the beach.
