The place just makes you HAPPY. And for a "tourist not trappy" just honest "small town vintage feel" the place is full of really lovely things Cape Cod, or just local. LOVE THIS PLACE. Sisters/owners Samantha Leonard and Corrie Mays are incredibly gracious and welcoming. It seems to be taking on the original "vibe" of the store when it opened. Jessica was also incredibly helpful. Samantha and Corrie really seemed interested in honest customer feedback. It was a delight to spend time talking with them! I was even offered a small bottle of Spring Water. What a fabulous touch. If I could give more than five stars, I definitely would!! I posted several photos earlier this evening. Previous: The Plum Porch has been my favorite gift/accessory shop on Cape Cod for countless years. Whenever I am in the area, I try to stop in. The salespeople are friendly and welcoming. They seem to update their merchandise regularly. I especially like the selection of unique baby gifts and jewelry. I never feel rushed in the store and I also don't feel pressured to make a purchase.

They did not return money, nor did they offer any discount or store credit. They did NOTHING!!! Don't go there the store manager Maryann was nice at first but she was not helpful in a return. She said it's Illegal for them to resell the dress again so she can't take it back. Which is not accurate and you probably don't want to sell it as it's caused a rash on someone. At the very least offer them a return or store credit. Not a good experience. FYI it's a coral colored dress that's linen stay away.

You can't help but FALL IN LOVE with her and her store. Why buy new when you can breathe new life into gently used high end, clean products. Just don't try to pry that glorious vintage dresser/makeup cabinet when you walk it. It belonged to her grandma, and dating to the late 1800's/early 1900's, that puppy is going no where without Bonnie. So if it doesn't belong to her heritage, you can rummage and shop til your heart is full. Simply lovely colorful and cheery little piece of history, sass, a little shabby with a lot of chic!
