I didn't know ow it but I guess I was. I needed workout clothes. She steered me to the sale rack plys other wonderful garments in their inventory. Well, I make out great, got all new fitness clothes and more. She was just a peach, so real, ho est and helpful. We both had a grwat time as we had the shop all to ourselves on a Wednesday afternoon. Great clothing- it's made really well and lasts forever; That said, I was in the store several…read moretimes last summer and asked a woman named "Chris" 3 times to have a pair of Khakis sent from their Falmouth store - the 1st time she said she'd do it, all the while telling stories about herself and her fabulous life and it was kind of charming. The second time, I asked if she had gotten the pants, and she said " I forgot- let me take your contact data" which I gave and she told some more stories - less charming at this point. After another 2 weeks I went back and she said she forgot again and she took my info AGAIN. This time the stories were VERY tiresome. Guess what? I never got the pants. Again the clothes are great - I have 2 pair of linen cargo shorts I treasure - unfortunately they were from 2019 and totally revamped their men's shorts line. Shop Fat Face, but I'd avoid the Edgartown a store if you need customer service of any kind.....

She is currently a student at Lawrence Junior High and this shop has a ton of Lawrence clothing items. The store also has a huge selection of Falmouth/Cape Cod clothing options and the store is clean and well stocked. The staff here was incredibly polite and didn't hover over us as we shopped. In the end, we stocked up on all of the needed items and actually walked out with a few extra items. When looking at the other shops in Downtown Falmouth that sell Cape merchandise, this store has one of the best selections with reasonable prices.

On the receipt it clearly states purchased item can be returned and exchanged within 30 days of purchase, it must be in as-new condition, unworn, and unwashed. I had hardly used it for an hour, it was too small for me. It was in all clean condition and when I went to them first time to request for an exchange she said they can't return it because i used/wore it and they had cut the tags from it. I said politely that's okay and left the store. After I walked back to my room I read the receipt which had the return policy on it. I went back to the store and asked her to read and follow the return policy. But she started gaslighting me. And psychologically attacked me in front of other customers. "She kept saying I 'wore' it pointing at 'unworn' word on the bill, and that they cut the tags." I had to educate her on the difference between worn and wore. I googled the definition of worn-off in front of her and insisted where does the return policy speak about the tag and wore? She kept saying you wore it, twisting wore with worn as if I was an uneducated individual. Sad part is that I was only going to exchange the item but returned it due her ignorant and shameful attitude towards a tourist from a different race and color. She must have thought of me to not be so well read and well-traveled. After fighting for it, she eventually returned and reimbursed me the money. Why did she it does it then if it wasn't the policy and I wore it and cut the tags? So clearly, she was manipulating and trying to scam me. Fraud! There clearly is a racist perspective to the incident. Humans are programmed to think about other humans who appear to be different than their race differently. It's just the science of human psychology and human brain signalling (neuroscience) and telling us to act differently. I regretted doing purchases from your store in Provincetown. In fact if the store was nearby where I live, I'd return other purchased items. Extremely traumatizing, shameful and ignorant experience I had.
