What an amazing find! First thing to know is that they have two stores down the block from each other: one is vintage clothing for men and women. The other is a wondrous collection of vintage bridal wear. I was impressed with both stores. The prices are fair and even the music they play in the store is cool and fun! But the vintage wedding store was the coolest in my opinion. They have a whole wall of vintage wedding dresses that are arranged chronologically by decade. They have every style imaginable: prairie, Victorian, baby doll, preppy, fairytale, boho, lace, 80s, you name it! They also have vintage veils and shawls and jewelry. I was particularly taken by a vintage white turban that had a long veil attached to it, but i don't think i'm cool enough to pull it off at my wedding LOL. Very special stores. Looking for a gorgeous vintage wedding gown??? Look no further! Vintage in Vogue is the most adorable, fully loaded boutique I may have ever stepped foot in. Their bridal section is nothing short of incredible. I had to peruse through it although this was not the reason for my visit. Now that I know they have this incredible selection it's surely bookmarked in my mind and I'd highly recommend them. I found the cutest 1940s emerald colored Parisian clutch. Amazing boutique. Too bad I wear a size 8/10 because it's always so hard to find anything; It's really more for people who wear smaller sizes. A relatively undiscovered gem Back off the street in downtown Orleans, this vintage shop is crammed to the gills with great clothes from all eras, 20s, 30s, 50s, 60s, 70s, you name it. Predominately women's designer clothes, the prices are reasonable and the styles fantastic. I went in with four teenage girls, mostly tall and model thin and just about everything they threw on looked tailored for them. Being a guy, and far from expert on women's clothes, I'd say plus size folks would have difficulty finding things that fit. Our parents and grandparents generations were much thinner than we are nowadays. Although we didn't get a chance to see it, the same owner has a vintage bridal store right next door. Reportedly it stocks everything from dresses to veils, shoes, the whole kit. read more

I chose to go to this store on whim after getting engaged on vacation on Cape Cod. This was a fun, easy, and unique way to find timeless dresses. Maureen gave us personalized attention for well over 2 hours. She helped me to define the dress styles I liked the most. She gave ideas for alterations. The dresses are all affordable between $250 - 450ish. They are organized by decade, from early 1900s to 2016. The website features some dresses, but the store has many options. The only thing I will note is that I am a short and smaller, and there didn't seem to be a lot of vintage options - 70s and earlier - for taller/bustier/curvier women. There were many more options from 80s - modern day for all size brides. Highly recommend for a unique, affordable, timeless gown with personalized experience and ideas for modern and expert alterations. read more

I have been going to vintage stores for several decades now and this is a really good one! Owner is so pleasant and there is a great variety. I personally like everyday wear and she always has plenty of it. But she always has a huge selection of wedding gowns and also vintage dresses and other clothes from all eras. She even has fabric (you never see that at vintage stores) and she can do alterations. And her prices are very reasonable. Basically everything you want in a vintage store but rarely get! read more

Maureen, the owner of this gem, has cultivated an amazing collection, I popped in to browse this week and ended up buying my wedding dress from her Bridal store. An entire store, next door to her regular vintage store, of the most unique dresses I've ever seen. Packed to the gills with every style imaginable from the wildly unique to the traditional "big white dress". It isn't strictly "vintage" there are many contemporary dresses to choose from as well. I scheduled an appointment for the next evening for my mom and me to do some dress shopping. We were greeted warmly and allowed to pull any dress we wanted. Maureen was kind yet realistic about my dream of finding a 50s style dress that would fit my size 12 frame, not impossible, but it would require a good deal of work. After 4 or 5 dresses, I found a gorgeous early 2000s dress by Aurora D'Paradiso. The tag was still on it and I paid less that if I had gone to a bridal chain and found a similar dress. Maureen works with her brides to make gorgeous, unique creations. From the skeleton of the most frothy 80s wedding dress, she can create an elegant, unique modern wedding dress. She takes such pride in her store and her work. She made dress shopping fun and intimate and I could tell she was listening to me and my mother. I only wish I could do this again, it was so much fun! read more

By far the best vintage place you will find on the Cape. Maureen is strict about what she considers vintage so you won't find things from old navy mixed in here like you do at other places. The prices are really reasonable for the pieces and the quality is usually amazing. Maureen has the store laid out with things divided by length and age. She also is well aware that not everyone is rail thin so she maintains a larger sizes section of clothing. In the vintage bridal side of the shop Maureen also makes sure any bride of any size can find a dress, so she does keep more modern dresses in stock but she selects them based on if they have a vintage flare to them. The shop in Orleans has a men's section and the new store in Provincetown does too. Maureen also provides alteration services which is wonderful because I can really trust her to know how to handle older fabrics and such. I really can't say enough good things about this shop! read more
