As a mom to a three-month-old girl, this place is a godsend -- especially on the Cape! Need a party dress or cute jammies? A sun hat? Perhaps you need some sandals or even a mobile as a gift... Kid & Caboodle has an amazing selection of all thigs baby, and when you have a baby that's awesome. You know who this place is made for? Grandparents. My mother freaks out with glee everytime we come here, and she ends up getting my daughter the cutest things in abundance. I have never once found the staff to be anything but kind and helpful, and as far as baby things go? The prices are on point. They sell a wide range of Zutano items for both genders, as well as many other high-quality brands. I only with they carried Tea Collection too! You won't find much gear here, though -- this is more dress 'em up or gift-getting. Very cute stuff! read more

Review is for the Beach equipment rental service. We had a large function planned and sort of last minute we needed to secure chairs and umbrellas for almost 20 people without one scrap of beach supplies. Less than 48 hours in advance we were able to get all 20 chairs and 8 umbrellas with the online reservation process. They called the next morning to confirm. We arrived right at their opening on a busy Saturday and everything was ready to be loaded to our vehicle. Upon returning everything was still pretty sandy but they were ok with this as they hose everything upon arrival. Great experience and would definitely do it again. read more

I was in the shop with my husband and small kids. No one greeted us. Staff was busy talking. We had to keep asking for help. A very tan brunette, in her fifties was far from friendly and acted put out every time we asked a question. She kept going behind the desk instead of asking if she could get us a different shoe size. Last I checked, customers can't help themselves to try on shoes. This store is great if you're looking for baby and toddler clothing. Older kids (5+), inventory is much smaller. read more

I love this store. The clothes are such great quality and so unique that I don't mind paying a little more. And the sale room always has great choices. Plus you can rent baby items, such as a high chair. And they are open year round! read more

I always love to go to this shop! It is big with so many choices of items from clothes, to shoes., toys, little accessories, and books. There's also a used clothing section (consignment I think) so you can always find something even if your budget is tight. (I corrected on thing about discounted items) read more

Love this store. From baby clothes & gifts to toddlers and pre-teen. Books too!! All the best quality great selection and they are very much is there for you but don't hover. I'm a local and not only will I return every time I need something of this nature but I will send visitors there as well. Top shelf Inventory and service read more

Extremely poor rude staff brunette woman in casual generic wear seemed to follow me around yet never asked if I needed any help in the short time I was in there. Selection seemed to be lacking. Will never be back that's huge considering this is a small town and room for forgiveness but and again lacking selection as well as dingy floors. One other shopper in an active Saturday would expect more from service. read more

I just popped into the store today--their first day open since the easing of Covid-19 restrictions. I just want to say that the shop remains one of the most well-curated collections of children's clothes/accessories that I have seen anywhere. The sun hats, bathing suits, sandals, water shoes, dresses are all selected by an expert who really knows what kids are willing to wear (and what babies will keep on!). The store's owners really love what they do and it comes across in every single detail. After months of shopping online I am reminded why we need outstanding stores like this one--you will not find such high quality, thoughtful kids gear anywhere online (except their website!). Also--I should mention that the shop is very spacious and the staff have really worked to make it a safe atmosphere--thank you for a great shopping experience!! read more

After shopping there many times, I am really over the rude staff. They are unhelpful at best and you can find better customer service at other children's stores in town - where they will actually value you being a return customer. Prices are high too. read more

This is a great location for clothing, books and toys, especially for the younger kids and babies. They carry a lot of quality merchandize at reasonable prices and not the same things as the chain stores. The staff is friendly and helpful. I generally hate shopping, but this is fun place to go! read more

Used these folks for some baby equipment rentals over July 4th vacation. Service was excellent. Rented a crib, large wagon for kiddie beach transit, + jogging stroller and other misc items. All the kit was in good shape. Prices were slightly above market. The flexibility however was tops as Kid & Kaboodle accommodated last minute requests without incident. Would definitely recommend them for families traveling on holiday to Cape Cod. read more

Used Kid and Kaboodle for a crib rental in June and last week when we were vacationing on the Cape. Quality cribs provided both times and excellent service. They helped us bring the crib up the steep stairs to the 2nd floor of our old house and then back down again at the end of the week. We needed to have the crib picked up bright and early and they were kind and accomodating. Will definitely use them again and hope to visit the store next year when we go back! read more

Very cute store to shop at! Clothing is a little pricey but that's to be expected at a store like this. Great selection of toys, clothes, books, and more! read more

Love this shop! Beautiful selection of clothing. Staff was so kind and patient while helping me to find some amazing items! I will definitely be back!!! read more

Great selection, friendly staff, reasonable prices! We stopped in to get a hard to find item and the woman behind the counter located the item in seconds. Why drive out to Hyannis, when everything you need is right here in Orleans! read more

This is the place I go for shower gifts, birthday gifts, etc. There's nowhere else on the Lower Cape that has such a great selection. For my own kids, it's the kind of place I know I can always go if I need a formal "dressy dress" or dress shoes - but it's also the place I can find really fun casual outfits, too, especially for my daughter who adamantly states she is not a "girly girl". I always get a kick out of the display of colorful rain gear and matching boots. Too cute! read more

Extremely rude staff. Read reviews prior thought with only one negative review that we should give it a try. The woman was beyond rude to my family. We were planning on making a purchase but left because we were made to feel so uncomfortable . I would NOT recommend going back there. To be honest the majority of their stuff is grossly overpriced and I noticed a quite a few damaged items . read more

Great selection. Cute, cute, cute clothes and accessories!!!! Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. We got a gift certificate for here for our daughter and soooooo glad we did. We will definately be returning customers... and telling all our friends. read more

This was the first time we traveled to Cape Cod with the kids and we needed everything! Crib, highchair, jogger, etc. Kid & Kaboodle had been recommended to us by a friend and what an AWSOME store!! Besides having everything delivered to our cottage and set up before we arrived, what a blessing that was, our luggage had been "lost" on our travels to the Cape. While the airline searched for our "lost" luggage for 3 days, we found found everything we needed for our 11 month old, our 3 year old daughter and our 8 year old son. They were very professional, courteous, understanding and I cannot tell you how helpful they were in finding just what we needed for each of the kids. They turned what could have been a nightmare of a trip into a pleasant shopping experience. They have a customer for life! Thank you Kid & Kaboodle! read more
