What kept me coming back were the familiar faces--the longtime staff who knew their customers, understood what I was looking for and had earned my complete trust. I could practically hand them my credit card and let them choose the gift for me. Since the change in ownership, I no longer see those familiar faces and the store has an entirely different feel. Unfortunately, what made Oceana special for me is gone. I'll be taking my business elsewhere, even if it means driving to Chatham.

I purchased a book and unfortunately either in the store or during the stroll it was misplaced. I retraced my steps and couldn't find it. It was a special gift. I went back to the store to see if someone had turned it in. I explained the situation to a gentleman who I believe is the owner. He graciously offered to replace the book at no cost to me.
