It's got a bakery, an old-fashioned toys area, home decor too. It's got a candy store, fudge counter, and my favorite was the Cape Cod sign made of jellybeans! Plus there was more containers of cotton candy than any kid should ever see on a shelf! Made my teeth hurt thinking abut all that spun colored sugar!! Then there's what everyone comes for.... the clothing deals There's the sweatshirt and T-shirt racks that go on and on and on and on.... Room after room and on... It's shocking, and impressive and extremely exhausting! I went with friends that kept me there for an hour!! But the discounts were 50-70% off so load up!! And a staff member was helping them get the perfect clothing in several colors! She was cheery and must walk 10 miles a day in this emporium! It's January on cape and it's dead of winter, but not dead here! I watched dozens and dozens of people with their arms, full of sweatshirts and T-shirts, staggering towards the counters to pay on their way back out to a full parking lot! I walked over to my sister with two $7 anklets to ask which one I should get, after I walked back to the anklets and put one back. I was in line waiting to purchase this anklet when my sister said she was gonna leave the store and sit in the car because she wasn't purchasing anything. The worker then stepped from out behind the counter and got very close to her and accused her of stealing an anklet, my sister respectfully said she never had an anklet and even proceeded to empty all of her pockets, roll up her sleeves, and show her waste band. I then said that I was the one with the anklets, and asked howcome I'm not allowed to walk around the store with items and put them back when I don't want them? How in any way does that in tail stealing? Our friend was also someone of color, and that rubbed us all the wrong way because the accusation had no validity and the only possible reason for it seemed to have been racially motivated: The worker was embarrassed at her false accusation, however didn't apologize or try to explain herself. Although this is a small little beach shop, workers should be educated and trained to not treat customers this way. Ive worked at high end stores where they have security, and we were always taught to never falsely accuse anyone of stealing without seeing the literal action of them placing an item in a bag or stuffing it into their clothing. The second we walked in the environment was unfriendly. We felt so uncomfortable, disrespected, and embarrassed. Even if your not working anywhere, treating anyone with such disrespect is extremely distasteful. We have lots of friends and family in the cape and are sure to be telling them not to shop at this place where one of the workers is so outwardly racist.

Just know, before deciding to purchase any item from this establishment, that if it breaks or you want to return it for any reason that it will be impossible to do so. I like to support local, family run businesses, but Labelle's owner is so hostile, I would rather shop at a big box store.

I Bought a wampum ring that wasn't even put on my finger and the wampum fell right out of it. The clerk said my finger was too big for the ring. I tried to explain that I did not wear it because it wasn't for me. I didn't even make it two feet out of the doorway when it happened. She just dismissed me/talked over me. I had asked for a refund because she did not offer me one initially, she just took the ring from me to investigate it. She didn't seem too keen on letting me swap it out for another, and honestly I was uncomfortable and just ready to get out of there so I just took the refund.
