This store is a joke. The shelves are always empty in all depts. Target should be ashamed to put their name on the building.

I just left this target store and it's an absolute disaster... A total mess, nothing where it should be, absolutely no refrigerated food, and nobody around to help. Also, there's no toilet paper in the bathrooms... It's really just terrible and I'm wondering what's going on with the management of this joint. read more

The store is very poorly taken care of and Everybody seems to be in their own little world. Shelves are often bare and missing items. Normal target prices but much smaller store and overall not worth the trip. Find another store nearby. read more

Hard to believe Target corporate lets this store function as it does. Aside from the fact that the shelves can be completely empty, the staff is horrible. I realize Cape Cod is an island and as such good employees may be had to come by, but this team is so bad it's hard to imagine how so many other stores on the Cape have far better. Don't ever try to get anyone to answer the phone. God forbid you need to call....after 20 plus rings someone will actually answer and then hang up! This store has been horrible since the day it opened. Stuff everywhere, empty shelves and card only self check out. When the dressing rooms were open we had to stand on piles of clothes to try on stuff... I have never seen anything like this. I've sent an email and told they are short staffed. Maybe Target needs to hire more people cause this store is an absolute disaster read more

Like any other basic b!tch, I love me a good ol' Target. This was something else entirely though. Like many others have mentioned, stock is minimal and nonexistent. It's overall a much smaller store but we ran in here to grab my two face wash necessities (Panoxyl and St Ives) and they had neither in this store. They did have both of these brands but not the specific version of what I normally buy. I've never seen Target shelves look so sad before. Is this a Walmart in disguise? Why was it such a hot mess? The line was slower than molasses but thankfully a cake pop from the in store Starbucks helped my 4 year old hang in there. Yikes. Get your shit together, Target of Hyannis. read more

I ran in there because I needed some AA batteries. The store had almost no staffing. The first battery display I found had no prices showing. I found another display in the electronics department that had prices. I took the batteries to the checkout only to find that there were no live cashiers only self checkout. There was a very long line waiting to checkout. I don't care to use self checkout because I'm not working for them. I also know they calculate prices based on paying a checker to check you out. I tried to find a real person. I ended up at the Starbucks counter. I asked if there was a manager I could speak to and the girl pointed me to the order pickup counter. When I registered my complaint about the lack of staff she responded "This is the best we can do". If that is their best I would recommend not bragging about it. On top of everything else the place was a mess. Large sections of shelves were empty and many of the rest looked like someone just took a box and turned it upside down over the shelves. I used to find Target stores to be very good with very helpful staff. Not so for this store. I do hope this is the exception. read more

We went to Target to buy Bath Tissue we had to take the product to the scanner to find the price. There wasn't a tag on the shelf. Many of the shelfs were in disarray, the beer section and wine sections were a mess. Near the self price checker there was a bunch of assorted products that looked like other people scanned and left there because they couldn't find a price on the shelf. This has to be one of the worst Target stores in the company. I hope they can fix this store Cape Cod deserves better. This is only a review of the curbside pickup. I had to drive 40 minutes to Hyannis because they were the closest Target that had the TV I wanted in stock. I ordered and paid on line. I was expecting to get an email saying my order was ready, but none came. After about an hour, I checked on my order status and it said that it was available for pickup. I called to store to find out how curbside pickup works. Their phone menu had no choices to get to customer service, so I choose Electronics. They told me to just call Customer Care when I got there. I informed them that their phone system did not allow that. They suggested I call Electronics and they would transfer the call. It seemed stupid, but it worked. My package came out in about 2 minutes and the put it directly into the trunk. The worker was very friendly. Target is poor on communications, but good on service. read more

I am a huge fan of Target but this Target is really small compared to the ones off cape. The service is pretty good the people are all very nice and helpful. The selection is small compared to the other Targets I've been to. It isn't a store I go out to go to I go when I'm already in the area to kill time. read more

This is the little Target that couldn't. Let's start with size... I have no idea where the other reviewer who said this is a good size Target is from, but he must be from Maine or Vermont. This Target is less than half the size of a "real" Target found in most states. Next up is the lack of stock. The shelves at this location remind me of Old Mother Hubbard's cupboard because they're always bare. On my most recent visit I found the shoe area completely destroyed. All the shelves in this section were completely barren & there were huge heaps of loose shoes on the floor. The same thing in the intimates section. In the cosmetics section I was looking for a very common lipstick color & brand. Not only were they completely sold out of ALL lipstick in this brand, all of the other brands were sold out too. It looked like the day after Black Friday, but in May. Same in the toy section. Toys were strewn all over the floor & several boxes had been opened to "liberate" pieces inside. I could go on, but you get the picture. The only thing this location has in stock consistently is sunscreen. ‍ It would be different if this was my first and last visit to this location, but sadly I have been going there monthly for 2 years and it never improves. 2 stars because it has a Starbucks, but the line in the morning is always backed up into the shampoo aisle. read more

This is the worst Target ever! The layout is terrible. The shelves are always near empty. The toilets are near the food aisles, the main entrance is stuffy and the carts are hidden from view, so you need to first start out your experience by hunting for the carts. And the entire place is short staffed. The people that are working there must be saints to continue to come into this place day after day. So I was at this Target about 6 months ago with my daughter and the place was a mess and understaffed ..so we just left honestly we were in the mall and just was looking around so we laughed it off and left.Today we went in looking for a specific item..just wow i don't even know where to start!This is a fairly new store that looks like it's been around for years! Like if there was a Zombie apocalypse and people had been ransacking this place for supplies or something no merchandise on the shelves hardly at all! What is on the shelves is strewn all over opened up unfolded and a mess! People were trying clothes in the aisles...(no fitting room open?) I did need some shampoo so I go to self check out they are not opened looks like they haven't been in a long time since there was unwanted merchandise dumped all over them ...plus some half-eaten pizza slices and pretzels so I'm guessing it's too much to randomly pick that up. You'd think at the very least they'd do a quick recovery of the place since as a customer that's the first impression I got...the last impression? This rude ass cashier we finally found who looked and acted like she'd rather eat her fingers than be there.Handed her my shampoo said hello she looked at me like I farted rang me up and never said thank you nothing ...So I said thank you have a nice day ..she looked at me and said .."uh huh" ...miserable..This store needs help immediately if they are planning to be around long term ..to say this store sucks is a understatement. Coordinate needs to be involved have they even intervened? Management in this store has failed ..If this plans on staying opened long term Target needs to pull it's head iut of its ass and get shit together or uts going to be another vacant storefront in that mall.. read more

Went to Target for a bike helmet and take a gander at the newer store. The target was clean and new looking, but bare shelves were plentiful and not much inventory. Long lines to check out and unfriendly employees. They have just a little bit of every department or category. It is a tiny target store. What's the point of having groceries if you have a tiny grocery department. Bike helmets too, 2 to choose from, if you are lucky enough for those 2 to be in your size or color you want. It is a nice addition to the mall, just expected more. read more

This target is terrible. The employees lack basic communication skills and they are severely understaffed. This weekend, there were only two fitting rooms open in only the men's department. I just started trying on clothes and an employee knocked on the door. I said "someone is in here" to which they responded "ladies, you need to hurry up; there are only two fitting rooms open". I responded with "blame the employees" and the voice responded "facts." In the fitting room, there were so many clothes all over the place... looked like nobody had touched it all day long. The store is a scattered mess, and a hot spot for theft because there is not enough employees for loss prevention. These employees are lazy, rude, inconsiderate, and don't know how to communicate effectively. CORPORATE SHOULD BE EMBARRASSED. read more

Awful customer service. There's been more then one occasion. And when I emailed to let them know about my experience all I get is we're short staffed. No I'm sorry no I want to make it right. They never have anything on the floor. When you go to checkout they want you to use self checkout but they only take card. So you have to use regular checkout for cash. Not only do you have to wait for someone to come but then they're always rude. I was told that I shouldn't carry cash that everyone should be cashless. I would do 0 stars if I could. I would rather drive other the bridge to the wareham location anyday over this. read more

I am from SCAL visiting cousins in Hyannis. Since my hotel was next door, I walked to the Grand Opening at 8am on Sunday, October 20. Unfortunately for me, since Target had a soft opening during the week, most of the shelves were poorly stocked. I was particularly disappointed in not being able to purchase a sweater for my adult daughter. All the Target staff were friendly and helpful. I am sure this eventually will be a great addition to the local community and this is just part of the opening process. Folks will no longer need to drive "off-Cape" to a Target. But at least for now, it was not a good experience for me. read more

I've been working in cape cod on an off for about a month an a half and I needed a charger I go an ALL OF THE SHELVES OF not only chargers but HDMI, aux cords, headphones, NO IPHONE ACCESSORIES, basically if you walk to the section that has any kind of wires it's gonna be EMPTY. I came back from Jersey after doing a job (two weeks later) an WHAT? still no wires at all (I needed an hdmi this time) I asked an employee when they were gonna get cheaper hdmi cords he told me "we're gonna order probably about 5 of this cheap hdmi" 5!!!!! Oh my. I was looking forward to a Target 0on the Cape too. Awful. They must have some corporate policy about bare shelves. It includes putting stock on the wrong places, to appear well stocked. I checked the shelf pricing on fruit cups from a handicapped scooter. It said 1.79 on the shelf sticker. I get home and discovered that I was actually charged 2.29. So despite the waste of time and gas, I will return them. Did I mention that I have a mobility disorder that makes walking painful? So good job, Target. Also, maybe you missed the point but underwear is available in packages for men and children... but women? Nope. Apparently corporate has decided women don't want several pairs at a decent price. They only have self check out. So when you buy alcohol they need to call a team member. It took a very long time for a team member to come over and when he did he said, "you need to scan all the other non alcoholic items and than come over to the service desk for the alcohol". Mind you my mom-alcoholic beer is what required the team member to come over. He said they are snotty staffed and that's why it's only self service. This Target is messy, shelves are empty, bathrooms are gross. Why are they short staffed? Could it be the fact that the corporation and management lack a sense of pride. Very disappointing read more
