This target store is a joke. The employees are unhelpful and are usually "stocking" pallets of during the day - so as a customer you have to climb over the pallets to try and shop, if you need help or have questions the employees are unable to help. Then at checkout they have one person ringing while only 1 or 2 self checkout registers open, so the line to check out is outrageous and wrapped around the store, meanwhile multiple employees just hanging out at the service desks on their phones and chatting but not helping. I prefer to do drive up pickup to avoid this BUT they always lie and say everything is out of stock so why even bother. this store needs HELP. read more

This is one of the worst Targets I have ever been to. The shelves are mostly empty, there's only about 1 of every product. A lot of the boxes look like returns, restocked. The shelves are all a mess and look like a tornado went through. Corporate needs to step in and take a look at this place. The Cape was excited to have a Target, but this place is seriously disappointing. Doesn't matter if it's summer or winter, either. It's a mess and under stocked. read more

What is going on with this Target store?? It is by far the absolute worst Target store I've ever been in. It's only a few years old. The shelves are almost empty. All the time. It's a mess. Looks like Black Friday shoppers just ran through the store. If you need something, don't go here because it probably won't be in stock. What a disgrace. Do something, Corporate! This Target needs serious work. It is one of the worst I have ever been to. The shelves aren't stocked, stuff is strewn everywhere, pallets of stuff sit in the middle of the aisles, they never have more than two people doing check out, and the seasonal section is always desolate. Needs serious work to even get to a basic level of functionality. read more

I went to Target, Hyannis, MA, yesterday. I left disgusted !!! The carts were NOT wiped down. They were brought from the parking lot and just put into the cart area. NO ONE wiped them. Yes there was a spray bottle of cleaner near the area, BUT no paper towels for us to clean them ourselves. There were no disinfectant wipes any where to use. And at the register there was no hand sanitizer either. No hand sanitizer at the entrance/exit. And NO social distancing. The return line was LONG and blocked the entrance door. And when i checked out, the line was down the aisle past woman's clothing, and not many respected the 6' spacing. And no store personal was there to enforce the spacing. When you got to the front of the line there was an associate directing you to an available cashier. Yes at the register Matt, the cashier, did wipe the conveyor belt between customers. I wish i would have spoken with a manger while i was there for an explanation about the lack of proper cleaning and distancing. This is NOT what was suppose to be happening in phase 1 reopening. I will drive the 1 hour to the Wareham store which is 100% the opposite. There are several people at the door, wiping the carts, doors, etc. And there was no congestion of people any where in the busy store. read more

I was so excited for the first target on the Cape to open but what a disappointment! A week after the grand opening, there were still empty shelves, the store was a mess and some of the grocery aisles are so narrow that you can barely get your cart down them. If you meet a shopper coming in the opposite direction, one of you has to back out of the aisle. While it is exciting that the store sells wine, I had to stand in two different checkout lines because the employee at the first checkout counter was not old enough to sell liquor, thus I was sent to another line to purchase that separately. What an inconvenience! I will likely give the store another try but imagine that I will continue to make trips to Wareham for a much better and customary Target experience. read more

I usually love shopping at Target. I lived 15 min from 2 different store previously. This Target on Cape is a huge disappointment, it is significantly smaller than any other store I've been to. The departments have all been made smaller. This store is nothing to write home about but it is nice having at least something on the Cape for last minute needs. read more

We were SO excited to get a Target on Cape, but "disappointing" is an understatement. This was unlike any target experience I have ever had. Usually I don't escape (a term I use endearingly) for less than $200 at Target even if I was only planning to buy laundry detergent. The layout of the store made NO sense. There was nothing intuitive about it, which is what usually makes it so easy to shop Target, even if you have never been to that particular location. Why do I have to go to one end of the store for Shampoo and all the way to the other end for body wash? I hadn't bought new under garments for 5 years and was hoping to buy bras in 4 colors, and 20 pair of underwear. The ladies lingerie department was a nightmare. Kids summer clothes were randomly taking over half of it. There was an underwear dresser like you might find at a Victoria's Secret which was obviously intended to be sorted by size. Instead, each drawer was a disorganized pile of different sizes and styles, it seemed like no two were alike. I found 1 pair of the right style for me, would have purchased 19 more of the same size and style had they been there. Please go back to the compartmentalized display Target usually has! I bought a Brita Filter, 1 pair of underwear (sadly, would have liked to have stocked up), and a shampoo. Each item was on my list. Several items on my list I just decided it wasn't even worth trying to locate in the disaster of a layout the store was in, and I purchased nothing impulsively. I drove 20 minutes each way from Mashpee for an experience that could NOT have been more inconvenient. I do feel bad for the store manager because much of this was probably dictated to them, but none of it works. This store unfortunately makes the case for shoppers to save time and frustration by shopping online. read more

So horribly disappointed . I've been so excited to have a Target come to this God forsaken island with the same old lame stores. But a Target! Isn't that something! But boy was I wrong!!! It isn't something, it's nothing! Horrible stocking of shelves. Very limited choices on everything. Now I wish we had gotten our beloved Outback Steakhouse back on the Cape. Who decided we needed an empty Target? Brainiacs, go to the Attleboro, MA Target to see how it's done or pack it up and take the drive of shame back over the bridge with your 500 lbs of inventory and do what you want with it. read more
