His license is expired, and although he brought a couple of guys, it was not the 'full crew' he claimed. He didn't bring proper tools - he used mine, and I had more tools than he did. That alone tells you the level of professionalism. The work he agreed to verbally, he later acted like he never said. He kept asking for more money, and even after I approved it, he still rushed the job and cut corners. I purchased 14 trees myself. Several were planted incorrectly - shallow, unstable, leaning toward the concrete, and with stakes sticking up. Trees were not centered, soil was thin, and some began sinking. These are signs of improper planting and possibly cutting the root ball. He left all the trash, mud, and tree boxes behind. He mixed my rocks with mud and left both the front and backyard in a huge mess. When I asked about cleanup, he told me, 'This is your mess, clean it up.' Completely unacceptable. After the job, he ignored every call and text. I gave him a final chance to respond within 15 minutes, and he still ignored me. I'm now moving forward with my reviews, complaint, and small claims. Extremely unprofessional and misleading experience. I also want to point out that CSLB shows his license is expired and marked 'not able to contract at this time.' He is not legally allowed to advertise himself as licensed or perform tree service work until he meets workers' compensation and bonding requirements. His website claims he is a 'Licensed Arborist & Tree Service,' which is misleading and not supported by CSLB records.

I reached out to Eddie for a quote to trim my overgrown trees (a new property of mine) in my front and back yard. A crew showed up the same day, later in the evening, to trim my trees. I was very happy with their work! Part of this included knocking down an olive tree that I loved. It was causing damage to my concrete walkway and was very close to my foundation, so the risk of keeping the tree wasn't good so I made the call to completely remove the tree and also had stump grinding performed. This led to me asking for a quote to redo my foyer (porch) area and my steps leading to the street, as well as new pillars as well as redoing the walkway that was damaged from the olive tree. The pre-existing conrete steps were oddly shaped, and I wanted additional steps but a straight shot to the street! This was done! Custom pillars, with low voltage lighting, new custom pillar caps, and low voltage lighting through each step. Further work was given, such as a retaining wall (new plater) in the front, new marathon sod throughout the front yard, and new canary palms. new drip and sprinkler system. Also, low voltage lighting was done on the left/right side of the house, with new hedges and an entirely new diamond-cut stamped concrete driveway (32 yards). In the new planter (with the new retaining wall) Eddie sourced pygmy palms, and roses. Additional birds of paradise were sourced by Eddie and planted around the canary palms. This was a very large project, but the crew showed up every single day despite the heat, and worked very hard. Eddie and his crew are very clean, the job site is left clean every single day and every promise/obligation was met. I would highly recommend R&R landscaping maintenance if you need landscaping or weekly maintenance done in the Inland Empire. Raymundo and the maintenance crew did a great job weekly for me now, and if I ever need anything or have new projects, Eddie is there for me.

This team is very professional, very efficient, and very knowledgeable, even our next door neighbors were impressed by their skills. I was working from home both days and I was not interrupted. Miguel responds quickly at any hours of the day so it was easy to coordinate with him. As a busy parent, I appreciated that. It seems like he knows the area very well and has experience with home insurance as well so he was able to advice us what to do with the trees. They had many helpers in their crew and at times three trucks. They appear to be very aware of safety procedures. And, they are very professional. Their initial estimate given to me was hundreds less than the previous tree trimmer that I almost hired. Additionally, they cleaned out the weeds in my swing and shed area which is many square feet. I only had a special request when they were done. I asked them to cut my sycamore tree about 6 feet shorter and take out more branches. And they did it. So good price, safety, professional and all of my sprinklers worked fine when they left. So if someone needs tree service call other tree services to get an estimate but definitely call Elite Tree Care. They start at a lower price than others.

The palm fronds were left at base of the tree, and on my neighbors fence, and my outdoor lights were broken and ripped off the house. If I had not walked the work area and found the torn down lights, the ripped electric wire would have been live when the autotimer turned on in the evening. The hot wire could have electriculted my family or my dogs. The $100 comp to buy the $60 string of lights is not enough for me to remove and rehang the lights from second story and across the yard back to the palm tree in 100 degree weather, requiring me to carry a ladder to second story and out into the garden and at the palm tree. The supervisor offered to not charge service in compensation for the destroyed yard lights. He requested I remove this review and I refuse.
