Alvaro and Antonio were very professional and even informed me the Plumbing knobs the washer is attached to needed to be replaced as they were very difficult to turn and we're likely corroded and would eventually Break off. I try not leave poor reviews, but it's necessary. I wish I had read these reviews before then demanding Best Buy to change the delivery company. Like so many others, J.B. Hunt was contracted to deliver and install my new washer/dryer and haul away the old. Delivery and installation were basically smooth, except when I checked the new units I discovered that the dryer opened opposite the washer, creating an awkward set up. I asked them to change the dryer door and the guy said "no it doesn't switch". When they left, I looked in the manual and of course it can be switched. So I had to do it myself. When they were leaving, they left the old washed/dryer in my driveway and said their truck was too full and someone would be by later that day or the next to pick them up. 5 days later, I called Best Buy to complain. They scheduled another haul away appointment for the following Wednesday, a week after my initial appointment. On Wednesday morning, J.B. Hunt called at 7:00 am to say they would be there in 45 minutes, then never showed up. Contacted Best Buy again, again was told that the truck was too full and they couldn't pick up. Scheduled a new appointment for Thursday. They never contacted and never showed up. I STILL have an old washer/dryer sitting in my driveway. Do better, J.B. Hunt and Best Buy!! read more

They always call 10 minutes away. So unbelievably unprofessional for a delivery or pick up company that works with major appliance companies. They're always at least an hour early if not more to the agreed-upon timeslot. Can be very rude. I had one person who was nice, but it's really not the norm, I had to work with them multiple times. They are also very difficult about changing a time which is interesting, considering that they never come in the agreed upon timeslot. Not ordering from whirlpool at least in the Los Angeles area will definitely prevent you from having to deal with this company and their terrible service. And in response to the response that I got from the company: if you have this many one star reviews, you don't need to pretend like you give a damn about Service because if you did, you wouldn't have a full bar of one star reviews. Luckily the other sofa was delivered by another DDS company who just dropped of the box in our garage. Thanks. This 1 star is for delivering inside our garage and not asking us to unoad from their mighty looking van. I ordered a washer and a dryer with all their installation stuff and they didnt even hook the dryer! their driver is saying that the installation is completed when it is not! i have been waiting for those items for 6-7 days to use them and i cannot even use them! A horrible and frustrating experience! I placed an order through Best Buy to relocate and hook up the water line of my refrigerator to another unit on the same property. This is the company that came out, two of their employees came to my apartment and measured then to the other unit and measured. I let them know that when it was first delivered the refrigerator doors were removed to get through the door way. They said okay and removed the handles. First they said they couldn't do the waterline hookup in the other unit and I would have to hire a plumber. okay fine, whatever. Then as they strapped the refrigerator to move I reminded them about removing the refrigerator doors but they insisted there was clearance and he measured it. As soon as I mentioned it was a newer fridge they stopped and said they couldn't do it because it was new and if something went wrong it was on them. Then they called the supervisor who said they cant move the refrigerator. They can't "relocate" from one address to another. But they can "move it" from one room to another but then told Best Buy they "aren't movers." They insisted I take it up with Best Buy that the paperwork was wrong. But this company also confirmed they had my paperwork . . . so they didn't look at the addresses? I need this refrigerator out now and planned my day around it, moving out of my unit this weekend and now I need to deal with Best Buy, filing a complaint and trying to come up with a plan?! Last minute! Unprofessional, this could have all been avoided. It was scheduled weeks in advance and now all this?! Plus then this vendor took the water hookup kit with them! That I paid for! All I can say is that this delivery company is the worst. We ordered a refrigerator from Best Buy and the delivery was scheduled for the next day. The driver called us when he was in front of our gate. unfortunately, I missed his call but as soon as I realized it, which was two minutes after, we ran outside he was gone. We called Best Buy, they said that the driver waited 10 minutes which was a total lie since we have a camera we checked it he was in front of our gate just 7 minutes. The problem is that he didn't even attempted to call the secondary number that we left them and left us without a refrigerator for another three days. I called the driver numerous time but he would not answer my to my calls and at some point he turned off his phone. They are the worst. Bad experience with Best Buy customer service as well: The JB Hunt install team was over half an hour late, and when they realized our install was on the second floor, they left after placing one riser in my laundry room. When my back was turned they left without saying anything! Totally ghosted me and left me without even a word or explanation! When we called Best Buy customer service, they did not do anything and would not allow us to contact JB Hunt ourselves to find out why they abandoned our install midway through. He made excuses from the moment he entered my home to not connect the fridge and got aggressive in my home when I had a Best Buy supervisor on the phone. Watch out for this company and there unproffesional staff. He arrived with an attitude and there Manager was unproffesional too or at least they said they were. Best Buy hired a 3rd party JB Hunt in South Gate and they contracted out as well with Control Transportation Services. I am about to review them aswell. Usually when I post a negative review I expect a generic and insincere response from the business. Most of the time their response is just a facade so to show those reading the reviews that they care and will learn from the experience I order to improve their company...the business usually does nothing to change for the better. After my initial post, JB hunt management quickly reached out to me via yelp. I didn't have time to respond nor was I interested in any back and forth on yelp, so I left their response on the back burner of my to do list. Surprisingly, 30 minutes after my post I received a phone call from JB hunt regional supervisor. I was truly caught of guard, he wasn't defensive, abrasive, or vindictive; he was the exact opposite, professional, apologetic, and sincere. He explained to me that they had already corrected the situation and held those specific installers accountable and responsible for their terrible service, he expressed how he appreciated the feedback, that he would personally come to my home to supervise the delivery of my new washer and dryer, and to personally take ownership of the terrible service I received. His willingness to drive from LA to orange county on a rainy day just to make sure his install/delivery team would give me top notch service was an amazing gesture! I'm impressed with the final delivery; my appliances were installed without any damage, attitude, or laziness. This team wore booties to protect the floor, they were interactive and asked questions on what I preferred, and they were careful to not damage walls or leave a mess, and they also went the extra mile, by trying to modify the washer tray so that the stands drawer can be opened. This delivery and install service was on par with my previous "white glove" service I have received from high end companies like Restoration Hardware, Wolf Appliances, West Elm etc. This service was exactly the service I was expecting on the initial delivery. With that being said, I felt assured and confident that future deliveries and installs from JB Hunt will be professional, respectful, pleasant, and possibly "white glove". They definitely set the bar high today with my awesome delivery and install experienceI. I look forward to doing more business with Best Buy or any other businesses which will be using JB Hunt as their delivery and installation providers. This has been a night mare experience. Through Best Buy total tech for appliance installation. - First they bring the refrigerator and refuse to install it because they said there was not shut off valve. I checked with 3 plumbers who said it was. - rescheduled a week later, two guys come, refuse to install the fridge cause there are stairs. Won't give his name or who to call. Five stars only to their staff Jacob and Gilbert for allowing me to thoroughly inspect my "new dishwasher" prior to installation. Although my product didn't work out, this bad experience had absolutely nothing to do with JB hunt or their amazing staff Jacob and Gilbert. I found soap residue and food stain upon inspecting my dishwasher. I even smelled a stench when I opened the door to inspect inside. Good thing I kept this dishwasher outside of the house during my inspection. Keep in mind that when I ordered it, several Whirpool representatives had assured me the dishwasher scheduled to be delivered to me will be brand new. Although I found it suspicious as Whirpool representatives said it would take 5 weeks for delivery, but somehow it was available in less than two weeks. This was a big red flag. I had never even asked them to rush or expedite my order. Pictures of my findings attached. Should you zoom into the photo of the stain and residues, you would see grease, different colors, and food texture. So clearly these stain and residues weren't simply resulted from the manufacturer testing it with plain water prior from leaving the warehouse. The entire inside of my "new dishwasher" looked like this upon arrival. It clearly appeared that someone had a big party and used this dishwasher to clean their dirty dishes. I rejected it and filed a complaint to Whirpool and Costco. Both Jacob and Gilbert even attested that a brand new dishwasher should never look anything like that. They even said they had never seen something like that throughout their extensive experience in delivering and installing dishwashers. Jacob even provided me the serial number upon my request. See attachment. Avoid this dishwasher with serial number FA4302022 should you ever see it delivered to you. This serial number is unique to model WDT970SAKZ. I suspect Whirpool would just even clean off these food stain and residues, re-box it and try to pass it off to an unsuspecting customer. As with any products you receive, inspect them with a discerning eye (and with a discerning nose in this case) regardless how well they look from the outside upon arrival. Due to the high demands and shortage of appliances, is it even acceptable for Whirpool to cut corners or be very sloppy in delivering product to customers? read more

We had a really poor experience with this delivery service today. We ordered a Joybird sofa some months ago and of course have been anxiously awaiting its arrival as it was a splurge for us. While we knew the delivery would be a bit tight as our entry has a few dimensional challenges we felt, and still feel, that the sofa would fit into the space. I'm an architect and interior designer and have been through many a tight furniture install and do feel would we be able to fit this in. We did our measurements and think it would work. However, our delivery person was not interested in even trying to help or attempt a delivery. He came in, made a few quick measurements and said nope and left. Including a missed phone call he was here from 7:46 am until 8:00 am. I think a lot of it had to do with the fact that it was raining, so fine reschedule. I've never had a delivery person not even attempt to make something work, let alone try to convince us not to. It was earlier than we expected so we were a little out of it, but the vibe was that he didn't want to bother so he didn't. This is not a free delivery service and it is also for a very expensive item so we would expect every effort and care would be given to complete the job. We were waiting with a $75 tip for the effort to be nice, especially with the weather. We had no choice in picking this delivery service as Joybird contracts with them apparently, for what reason I have no idea given all these terrible reviews. I implore Joybird to better vet their delivery professionals. The delivery person also laughed multiple times, suggested we get a smaller sofa, asked why we needed a sleeper and seemed to chide us over how much time and money we spent...not really his place or welcome feedback. Never in my life have I dealt with such dismissive and unhelpful service - I guess I've been lucky considering the other reviews I've read on here. In the end, perhaps it would not fit but the whole point of a delivery service is to have professionals that try to complete the task. Otherwise I would have hired some guys on my own who would be more committed to getting this done. read more

If a negative rating was a possibility I would definitely use it in this instance. We ordered a washer and dryer set from Costco who contracted with J.B. Hunt to have it delivered. They were supposed to install the new washer and dryer and take our old set. They arrived at the house, started getting to work, then said they couldn't install the dryer because we ordered an electric one but actually needed a gas dryer. Our mistake, no big deal. So the guys says they'll just install the new washer, and take back the old washer and new dryer that we can't use. Perfect, I'm good with that. He takes one look at the valves on the wall and says he can't remove them because they're too corroded and it's a liability issue. It's and old house, I get it, totally understandable. BUT, lucky for us we have a plumber here at the same time who's a family friend and he says he'll remove the valves no problem. So there's the 2 workers from J.B. Hunt, myself, my father in law, and the plumber standing right there and it's agreed upon that the plumber will remove the valves real quick, the guys from J.B. Hunt will install the new washer and remove the old washer like they are supposed to. The plumber starts doing his thing, the guys from J.B. Hunt walk back to their truck. I think they're getting a dolly or something. Get this, THEY DROVE AWAY. They literally just drove off. So here's a breakdown of the work J.B. Hunt did at my house. They arrived, disconnected my current dryer, found out the new dryer wouldn't fit, left my old dryer disconnected. They looked at my current washer, decided they weren't going to do anything with it, left my new washer unconnected in my garage. Then drove away. I called dispatch and explained what happened. I was told that I'd receive a call back shortly. Today is December 13th, I called them on the 11th and haven't heard anything since. I've never written a review for anything, let alone a bad review. But I've never experienced such unprofessional and disrespectful service in my life. read more

I was scheduled for the following week but received a call a few days later and was advised I wasn't even scheduled. Update: The general manager called and apologized which I really do appreciate. I really do not want to leave a star. Had a delivery from Best Buy using J.B. Hunt for delivery. They text and said that they would be at the resident by 1:50pm and waited. When 2:30 came I called Best Buy to see what happened with the delivery the informed that the driver had came and called but could not get in the front gate, and there was no answer when they called. First you text one number then called a number that is no longer valid. A number that I went to customer service and changed before I left Best Buy. Second they went to the alley way where there is garages and locked gates but in the front no gate in the rear no gate. Also there were workers on scaffolds they could of asked how to get in or to open the gate. The workers said they seen them and they did not even get out the truck. So no fridge with a Little guy that want his milk. I had emptied the old fridge because it wasn't working food that has to be thrown out. Best Buy said they can't call the driver because they have to stick to their route, and I they have to wait to get the fridge back to the warehouse before they can reschedule for the next available delivery day. Which the update in their system can take 24-48 hrs to update. So no thank you Best Buy I will take my refund, and as bad as J.B. Hunt is you would be dumb to continue to use them. This is another instance where I wish I could leave no stars. JB was responsible to deliver a washer I ordered online. I was promised delivery on a Friday and due to JB's computer problems I was pushed back to Monday. I wasted over an hour of my time online and on the phone answering a generic questionnaire they expected to be filled out. When Monday arrived I was given a four hour window. The installer/ delivery driver calls me twice saying they're coming early at 3pm even though I had a window starting at 2:45pm. Maybe they are normally late. The appliance I ordered replaced an existing appliance maybe 7 years old. Rudy introduced himself as the installer and checked the area where the new appliance was going. Rudy turned off the water behind the appliance and found it wasn't working (even though it was installed 7 years ago with the appliance). Rudy said he wouldn't be able to install until the shut off was replaced. How is a customer supposed to know their shut off is not functional until it's disconnected? I asked if I could just shut off the water to the house and Rudy refused during a holiday week. No service no empathy no insight on how to solve a problem. What service is being provided on the money I've laid out over a week ago? Anyone can plug an appliance into an outlet and tighten 2 hoses over the water supply. I will never do business with this company ever again and suggest anyone fortunate enough to have read this prior to using them to do the same. read more

Worst possible customer service. Was told not once, but twice that they would deliver my new fridge and haul away my built in fridge. I completely uninstalled my built in as per their instruction. Twice they showed up with the incorrect paperwork for the removal and had excuse after excuse lined up as to why they couldn't complete the job. JB Hunt was supposed to install a dishwasher that I purchased from Costco. The first attempt they stated that my "valve was corroded" and needed replacing before they would install. So, I had to reschedule for another install appointment a week later. The person who told me I needed valve replaced told me also that I needed to remove everything else (the hose to the air gap and the hose to the water source/valve). So, I paid a handyman $50 to come replace the valve. The handyman states "there is no corrosion on this valve - only some paint that got on it when the house was built". I paid him to replace it anyway, because I didn't feel like arguing with JB Hunt would work. While the handyman was replacing the valve, I asked him to remove the hoses. He also removed the air gap. I kept ALL PARTS in a bag, in the event that perhaps we removed something that shouldn't have been removed. WELL when JB Hunt came back, they said "oh we can't install without the air gap". So I produce the bag with the parts and try to get them to tell me what parts I needed to reinstall. They refused to help, only saying "we don't do that, it's part of the house". THERE IS NOTHING on the website or provided instructions that tell me EXACTLY what I'm supposed to remove vs what I install. The first installer just said "remove everything - we replace it all" and the second guy says "I'm not sure what you're actually supposed to have, but I can't install". So WTF am I supposed to do? I guess I install what I THINK needs to be there and have them come back and hope I guessed correctly? What idiots! Purchase 6/25/19 Shipped 7/5/19 1st delivery install attempt 7/8/19 - delivery person said that water valve "corroded" and so could not install - i asked if other stuff needed to be done and they said "remove everything - we replace it all", but failed to describe that "everything" didn't in fact include the air gap - when plumber came to replace the "corroded" water valve, he stated there was no corrosion - only paint on the exterior of the valve. i paid him $50 to replace it anyway, so that i would not have to argue with the next delivery crew 2nd delivery install attempt 7/13/19 - delivery person came over 2 hrs early, and i received multiple voice mails threatening me that they were going to leave because i wasn't there to receive the delivery - stated that the air gap needed to be there. since i had the HW still, i asked exactly what pieces and they refused to tell me - at this point i had not a clue about what to do - I installed what I THOUGHT was the proper equipment, rescheduled another delivery date, and hoped that i guessed correctly since nobody from Costco or JB Hunt could/would communicate this to me 3rd delivery install attempt 7/19/19 - delivery person came over 1 hour early - fortunately my wife was home - attempted to say that house was STILL not prepped appropriately for installation, but my wife pressed them to attempt anyway - they never gave specifics about what the "problem" was - dishwasher was pulled out of the box and was already dented, so couldn't deliver NOW AWAITING REORDER AND ANOTHER ATTEMPT AT DELIVERY. Ordered laundry center from Best Buy that was to be delivered and installed 6/6/19. Two guys came and told me I needed to call a plumber and get a new valve for the hot water and to call Best Buy after it was installed to reschedule the delivery. Plumber came yesterday. Told me there was nothing at all wrong with the valves I have. Ran washer through the cycle and said all working fine (other than the horribly loud noise it made at last spin/rinse cycle (the reason for replacement as repair too $ on 10 yr. old Kenmore). So I have plumber's bill that was unnecessary! Called Best Buy. The man looked at picture the installer took of the valve and said he checked with another and both agreed it looked fine to them although they were not plumbers. He rescheduled the install for 6/10/17. After thinking about this and reading negative reviews, I canceled my order from Best Buy and reordered from Lowe's. Lowe's assured me they will send their own installer and that they do not deal with subcontractors. Update to my previous review below: I wrote the below review before and I was contacted by them and had the issue resolved, so I decided to delete the review I wrote about them. However, unfortunately we have to deal with them again and I was given a time frame which as before I have no choice but to accept. I contacted them to see if I could have my delivery a couple hours earlier and I was told, it is what it is! If I can't make it, I have to change the entire date. (Even if I do that, again I would be given a time frame which I have to accept whether I like it or not!!!) Worst delivery company I have ever dealt with. Had a delivery from Costco, the delivery personnel are extremely rude, the scheduling is bull shit, they give u a time frame via an automated call and if you can't make that time they won't accommodate you in any way, you just have to reschedule for an entirely different day. Wow. Beyond belief. Costco should stay away from this vendor to deliver their home appliances. Very unprofessional, rude and also making false accusations that somehow I stretched the product that I literally just received. Initially I wasn't going to return it based on small stretch but when they started to make such false accusations i had to ask them to take the appliances back. read more

Don't ever use JB Hunt for delivering your appliance! I have had two bad experiences with them! First a dishwasher that the refused to install then I ordered a over the range microwave. The man brought the box in and asked me to sign. I asked "Don't you unpack and remove the trash/old unit?" He just said " No we don't." The next day I receive my receipt for the delivery. Right on the receipt it says "uncrating, trash haul away and old unit removed" then in customer comments he typed in uncrating done. I called JB Hunt to complain and the woman answering the phone just argued with me. Don't use them, you will be left in the lurch!! read more

J.B.Hunt isn't reliable. The suggested time of delivery wasn't met. J.B.Hunt said delivery person would call 30 minutes prior to arrival at suggested time of 2pm to 6pm. The driver called at 830am and said he'll be at my home to deliver in 10 minutes. I had to call to reschedule for later time same day. My microwave was delivered damaged first time. I rejected the delivery. Second time they delivered, the suggested time was 8am to 6pm. What? Sit and around and wait all day? Needless to say, driver came around 330ish with 30min. window of time indicated. He delivered the microwave. He just opened the box, verified as no damage and dumped my microwave and left. According to J.B.Hunt packing slip instruction, Tye driver is suppose to "HOMEDEL/UNCARTON/SET IN PLACE HAUL TRASH." The driver didn't do that when I said he needs to do that. He just said Costco order isn't like that. Costco and Whirlpool better use different shipping company!!! They get minus 4stars from me. read more

Horrible service. I can't believe I paid over $250 for this service and they haven't even delivered yet. Stay away. Worst experience ever. I spoke with someone, set my delivery day. They won't tell you what 4 hour window (am or pm) until the night before. I mean a 4 hr window is already not a PAID white glove service, but now I have to take a full day off because who can tell their boss I need a 1/2 day off but can't tell you until the night before if it's the morning or afternoon. Then, I take the full day off and no call the night before. I call and the notes in their system represent a completely different conversation that says I'll call back to reschedule. So guess what. Here I go again. Another FULL day off. Seriously, I'd be embarrassed to work for this self serving company. read more

This company is W-O-R-T-H-L-E-S-S! My wife and I have had 2 appointments to pick up our Joybird couch needing to be rescheduled for excuses that were NOT our own and now they "promise" to pick up a 3rd time.
