the installation people are not doing their job!!! I ordered a washer and a dryer with all their installation stuff and they didnt even hook the dryer! their driver is saying that the installation is completed when it is not! i have been waiting for those items for 6-7 days to use them and i cannot even use them! I called best buy that called JB Hunt and they said that i have to wait another 24 hours in order to book an appointment when it is not even my fault!!! i also ordered new equipment and i think he used the old ones that were already in the house! last time dealing with this company and i am calling best buy too so they know about this 3rd party company!

Damage on brand new washer and dryer

Usually when I post a negative review I expect a generic and insincere response from the business. Most of the time their response is just a facade so to show those reading the reviews that they care and will learn from the experience I order to improve their company...the business usually does nothing to change for the better. After my initial post, JB hunt management quickly reached out to me via yelp. I didn't have time to respond nor was I interested in any back and forth on yelp, so I left their response on the back burner of my to do list. Surprisingly, 30 minutes after my post I received a phone call from JB hunt regional supervisor. I was truly caught of guard, he wasn't defensive, abrasive, or vindictive; he was the exact opposite, professional, apologetic, and sincere. He explained to me that they had already corrected the situation and held those specific installers accountable and responsible for their terrible service, he expressed how he appreciated the feedback, that he would personally come to my home to supervise the delivery of my new washer and dryer, and to personally take ownership of the terrible service I received. His willingness to drive from LA to orange county on a rainy day just to make sure his install/delivery team would give me top notch service was an amazing gesture! I'm impressed with the final delivery; my appliances were installed without any damage, attitude, or laziness. This team wore booties to protect the floor, they were interactive and asked questions on what I preferred, and they were careful to not damage walls or leave a mess, and they also went the extra mile, by trying to modify the washer tray so that the stands drawer can be opened. This delivery and install service was on par with my previous "white glove" service I have received from high end companies like Restoration Hardware, Wolf Appliances, West Elm etc. This service was exactly the service I was expecting on the initial delivery. With that being said, I felt assured and confident that future deliveries and installs from JB Hunt will be professional, respectful, pleasant, and possibly "white glove". They definitely set the bar high today with my awesome delivery and install experienceI. I look forward to doing more business with Best Buy or any other businesses which will be using JB Hunt as their delivery and installation providers. I truly appreciate the responsiveness of JB Hunt, their willingness to grow and improve from negative reviews or critiques, and their ability to be personable, transparent, and thoughtful.

Five stars only to their staff Jacob and Gilbert for allowing me to thoroughly inspect my "new dishwasher" prior to installation. Although my product didn't work out, this bad experience had absolutely nothing to do with JB hunt or their amazing staff Jacob and Gilbert. I found soap residue and food stain upon inspecting my dishwasher. I even smelled a stench when I opened the door to inspect inside. Good thing I kept this dishwasher outside of the house during my inspection. Keep in mind that when I ordered it, several Whirpool representatives had assured me the dishwasher scheduled to be delivered to me will be brand new. Although I found it suspicious as Whirpool representatives said it would take 5 weeks for delivery, but somehow it was available in less than two weeks. This was a big red flag. I had never even asked them to rush or expedite my order. Pictures of my findings attached. Should you zoom into the photo of the stain and residues, you would see grease, different colors, and food texture. So clearly these stain and residues weren't simply resulted from the manufacturer testing it with plain water prior from leaving the warehouse. The entire inside of my "new dishwasher" looked like this upon arrival. It clearly appeared that someone had a big party and used this dishwasher to clean their dirty dishes. I rejected it and filed a complaint to Whirpool and Costco. Both Jacob and Gilbert even attested that a brand new dishwasher should never look anything like that. They even said they had never seen something like that throughout their extensive experience in delivering and installing dishwashers. Jacob even provided me the serial number upon my request. See attachment. Avoid this dishwasher with serial number FA4302022 should you ever see it delivered to you. This serial number is unique to model WDT970SAKZ. I suspect Whirpool would just even clean off these food stain and residues, re-box it and try to pass it off to an unsuspecting customer. As with any products you receive, inspect them with a discerning eye (and with a discerning nose in this case) regardless how well they look from the outside upon arrival. Due to the high demands and shortage of appliances, is it even acceptable for Whirpool to cut corners or be very sloppy in delivering product to customers?
