But you'd be wrong. The 2004 E46 has had quality maintenance (mostly by me - a 67 year old shadetree mechanic), and regular washes and waxes and interior cleaning with high quality products and never thru any car wash since new. Then 2 things happened: 1) While shopping at a local supermarket in South Carolina, we were shocked to see a cart someone was too lazy to return to corral, and it ended up putting a ding in the driver's side fender. Of course, having only lived in SC for 2 years we had no idea where to go for potential PDR. Maybe it was divine intervention or just good luck but we found Todd and Dent Bully. We came back the next day and found that not only was the dent completely gone, but that Todd Nesmith (owner and magician of auto metal) found a couple of probably hail stone dings on the hood. He gave us an estimate and actually charged us LESS than he predicted. SWEET! Todd then answered about a hundred questions I had about ceramic coatings. He is one of the few "Ceramic Pro" providers within 100 milea of where we live. When our tax refunds arrived, we made an appointment with Todd and he gave us back a beautiful car with a finish that looks BETTER than when it was born in 2004. No, we are not related. No, I have no financial interest in his business. I just wanted to use this platform as a means to let Southern SC and Savannah area auto owners that there is a true artist whether it's PDR or Ceramic coating, I can promise Todd will not disappoint.

If I could give zero stars, I would…read more On June 9, 2025, I called the Evans location and spoke with Derrick regarding service recommended by the Honda dealership in Virginia, where I had recently completed maintenance. I asked about pricing for replacing the timing belt, drive belt, water pump, and tensioner. Derrick informed me that the cost would be $689.64 but also incorrectly stated that my vehicle had a timing chain, not a timing belt. He advised that a valve adjustment with valve cover gasket replacement wasn't necessary unless there was an error code, which contradicted the dealership's recommendation. I clarified the services I needed and asked if I would need to make an appointment. He said that if I dropped the car off early in the day, it could be completed the same afternoon. On June 10, I called ahead at 12:05 PM to confirm the timing, and I was told the work could still be completed that day. I brought my car in shortly after and reiterated the specific services I needed to multiple staff members. Again, I was assured it would be ready by the afternoon. However, at 4:00 PM, I received a call from Derrick stating that they were recommending additional services based on their inspection. I explained that these services had just been completed at the Virginia dealership, to which he responded, "It doesn't show on Carfax." Considering the work was completed only a few days earlier, I wouldn't expect it to appear on Carfax yet. More importantly, Derrick then revised the estimate from $689.64 to $1,250.97, citing that he had overlooked the fact that my vehicle does, in fact, have a timing belt. He also told me that the car would not be ready until the following day. At this point, I asked what--if anything--had been completed, and was told that no work had begun. I requested that they remove the car from the shop, and I picked it up shortly after. This experience left me extremely disappointed. The lack of accurate information, poor communication, and misdiagnosis of basic vehicle components raise serious concerns about the competency of the staff. I expected more professionalism and reliability, and I will be taking my vehicle to a more trusted and knowledgeable service provider moving forward.
